“I am someone else, and that someone else has fallen deeply and completely in love with Sybelle and Benjamin.” (The Vampire Armand)
I clasped Benji to me...“And you, scamp, you can tell me all of it in time. Just let me hold you now. Let me hold you.”
Just a dad living his worst nightmare 😌 I’m crying and you shall all suffer with me. You’re welcome.
Considering Twilight exists in this universe…
show! Armand, Daniel, Sybelle and Benji watching New Moon for the first time and seeing Marcus, who reminds them a little too much of someone:
sketches i made out of emotional whim a few months ago that i decided to revisit and post because of my recent TVA reading <3 idk if i’m ever going to finish them but i might redo someday.
Welcome to the stage, the official "Voice of the Vampires", Benjamin "Benji" Mahmoud!

How do u think they’ll adapt armand walking into the sun in the show where he seems to be relatively immune? If they even do, that is.
It just seems like a pivotal point to his story, a willingness to die that finally reaches a point that its actually acted upon. Also since its the trigger to meeting benji and sybelle, which I would so so so love for them to be adapted but am def not counting on it; what they represent though, armand healing via the giving of love for the first time in a long time being completely unconditional and honest, imo should be part of his show arc
Hi! 👋🏾
So if the show does do Armand's suicide attempt from Memnoch the Devil, then I think the show can do it in the same way that I think they might do the whole thing with the Elder who, in the book, left Akasha and Enkil in the sun to try and destory them, which likely also can't be done in the same way in the show either.
So instead, in the show, I think it'll be a case of the Elder setting the two of them on fire, as I've said here:
💬 1 🔁 1 ❤️ 23 · Question: I think it's kinda important for Marius relationship with Akasha that he found them when they were left to die.
And I think this is the same route the show might go with it for Armand as well, if they do his suicide attempt from Memnoch.
Because while Armand is immune to sunlight, that doesn't make him immune to fire in general. An act of self-immolation by him can work in the same way narratively as his going into the sun did in the books, IMO.
As for Sybelle and Benji... well, I don't want to say 100% that the show won't adapt them, but... well, there are just time (and budget) constraints when it comes to a tv show that you don't have with a book. And while Benji does get more to do than Sybelle does after The Vampire Armand book, I'm just not sure they aren't things that can't just be given to another character who has more of a shot to be adapted into the story. (Or might already be in the show presently *looks pointedly at Daniel's character*)
Plus, well... I've had a sneaking feeling, from the moment we learned, in the show, that Daniel had two daughters, that they might be the adaptational equivalent to Sybelle and Benji in the show's universe (which would maybe mean a gender-flip of Benji); or, at least one of Daniel's daughters might be (basically putting both characters into one of Daniel's daughters since, again, Sybelle doesn't do much in the story after TVA).
We're going to have to wait and see wrt this, of course. But the audition dialogue spoiler that we got a few months ago did appear to maybe have one of Daniel's daughters showing up in Season 3. If that turns out to be true, this could be a route the show might be going with Sybelle and Benji's characters.
But yeah, all we can do is wait and see for now, since we don't know for sure just yet if the show is going to adapt all of Memnoch or even just Armand's suicide attempt from that book yet. And while we know the show is already pulling things from TVA, mostly wrt Armand's backstory, Sybelle and Benji, and Armand's story with them, might not happen, or might not happen exactly as it does in the books.
But if they do do Armand's suicide attempt, just having him set himself on fire is the easy way to go, since in the show, they already have him immune to burning by sunlight.
Now is it too far fetched to believe that Armand and Daniel not only had a previous relationship, but the “two daughters” Daniel has are actually Sybelle and Benji?
That they actually have two human children together in secret?
