I clasped Benji to me...“And you, scamp, you can tell me all of it in time. Just let me hold you now. Let me hold you.”
Just a dad living his worst nightmare 😌 I’m crying and you shall all suffer with me. You’re welcome.

Absolutely insane to me that both Lestat and Armand could be such caring parents, but their respective mommy/daddy issues make them believe that they're competing with their own child (or stepchild lol) for their spouse's love 😭😭😭
Louis, meanwhile, who never got along with either of his parents (and CERTAINLY never had a Freudian relationship with them), is like "omg a baby!!! 😍 let's make one of our own 😘👨🍼"
And both Lestat and Armand are like "must you make another opponent for me to fight? 😭"
Ok people who are like "Louis and Lestat will hate Armand! They don't need to forgive him! He's obviously the villain!" piss me tf off. Like, part of Louis and Lestat reconciling is understanding the role THEY played in Claudia's death. They know Armand isn't 100% to blame
And this is so obvious in TVA when everyone realizes Armand is alive. There's literally no one who wished for his death. Hell, Lestat woke up from his coma when Armand came back to him!
Anyway I was thinking about this quote and crying:
"You realize they are glad to see you, young and old," [Pandora] said making a small gesture to include the entire room. "There are some who don't want to step out from the shadows, but they know of you. They didn't want for you to be gone." "No, no one wanted it," said Louis rather emotionally. "And like a dream, you've come back. We all had inklings of it, wild whispers that you'd been seen in New York, as handsome and vigorous as you ever were. But I had to lay eyes on you to believe it."
And then the last bit when Lestat comes back:
"Yes, Lestat, what is it, what about her, tell me," I said. I held his hands as firmly and lovingly as I could. "Sybelle," he said again. "Do you think she would play the Sonata for me if you asked her? The Appassionata?" I drew back and looked into his vague drifting blue eyes. "Oh, yes," I said, near breathless with excitement, with overflowing feeling. "Lestat, I'm sure she would. Sybelle!"
Idk I just love how they're all a big family 😭🤧 (tho they could stand to kick Marius out)
LITERALLY SOBBING RN 😭😭😭
Lemme just say, I love all the "abort that thang" Armand posts cuz he hated Claudia lol
But Armand canonically has a soft spot for children and has been in some sort of caretaker role for his entire life. You can pry Dadmand from my cold, dead hands!!! 😤
Working on the line art. I really like this one 🥹
I feel like Armand would be really great at playing "potions"
(for those who don't partake, "potions" is when u go outside and mix a bunch of random shit together to make a poisonous mixture that you DON'T try to feed to your younger siblings)
thinking about the way that David tells Armand "they are not afraid of you or enchanted by you, but they love you" like its a surprise
ugh it's so sad 😭 cuz you KNOW that Armand thought the only way to get people to stay with him was through lust or fear UNTIL he met Benji and Sybelle 😭
ahhhhh dadmand is so precious to me!!!
