All of the Duskmon fights are incredibly hard to gif, because they have so many frames and so much detail put into them--which speaks to the quality of the episodes they’re in. Case in point, episode 30 cheats a little and recycles Duskmon and Beowulfmon’s beatdown exchange from early in the episode once their fight transitions underground, but it looks so good this second time that you don’t mind it. The setting for their last duel is unique; the only other time I can recall Digimon forcing its combatants to fight while wading is V-Tamer, which didn’t do anything with the setting. Duskmon ultimately wins what would have otherwise been a stalemate by making clever use of the environment, pinning Beowulfmon with the pillars that surround them.

The downside to this setting is that their battle gets continually interrupted by cuts to Cherubimon giggling, but it’s otherwise one of the best in the series. Really, you could watch these two wail on one another for hours.
