Day 24: Berith's Patterns
Anything that helps beautify the cult is welcome, so the appearance of the seamstress was a pleasant surprise for the False Prophet. Beautiful garments and decorations are common among those chosen followers.

On the cover of Kazuma Keneko Works 1, there's a Bael design that we never see in any of the games, and is easily my favorite design of him compared to the SMT 1 and 2 designs. Does Kaneko own the design, is that why we've never seen him?
So this familiar face is part of the KKW1 cover art like you said, which is named "Advancing Army." My original printing of KKW1 gives a copyright of "Kazuma Kaneko/ATLUS 2004" but I think it's safe to say Atlus owns it entirely these days. I would have to agree it's Best Bael, even if it is basically just 1992 Bael done in "modern" Kaneko style.
Thing is, Kaneko over the years spruced up/slightly changed the designs for numerous demons appearing on these one-off illustrations.
Here are Berith and Eligor from the "Devil Hearts" artwork done for Comickers. I love the changes to both here. Berith's darker armor and cape give him a little more dimension, and Eligor gains a bit of fashion sense with the fur collar. These two (and Bael, of course) are probably my favorites of the spruce-ups. I forgot these Goetic horseguys' redesigns also appear on this Assembly of Nihilo artwork:
And one more, something very minor:
Satan's jaw on the KKW2 cover art, "Advent" has a separated mandible the original doesn't.
Things that happened after letting demons into my life: how my journey began and where it has led me today.
I called him, and he came with a friend. No sigils, no invocations. They had been waiting for this moment, and I’ll never forget that night.
My protector had been here long before I remembered. I finally saw him. It felt like coming home, like an endless hug.
When Berith arrived, he made me very hungry, so I ordered burgers for us from my favourite restaurant. He explained that he could eat too: I consume the shell, and he consumes the essence. I was amazed by how well it worked.
The next day, the world looked colourful again, early childhood colourful, with vibrant tones. The trees looked deliciously green again. It made me very happy.
I received blessings quickly. I just had to ask. I was able to buy everything I wanted.
Other witches, however, started to notice me right away. I found myself under spiritual warfare as they saw me walking not only outside with demons from the books. I hadn’t expected so many people to be clairvoyants and remote viewers. I became a black arts warlock and turned it into a sport. I didn’t want to die. They strike once, I strike ten times harder with my demons.
I recruited every entity my enemies tried to send to destroy me. I convinced them they could stay with me and that I would feed them. I finally felt like a real warlock then. Watch out, Solomon.
Satan recruited a human girl living nearby and raised her so to say. The next generation will be ready when the time comes. So will be the next generation of cats in this house.
Angels, ironically, arrived in my kitchen. The fridge is a thing. Spirits love human food. I let them settle in too. But Archangel Michael and his colleagues didn’t come to fight. I learned that there are no fallen angels, that Samael is not a fallen angel, he even violently protested against his myth, and that the war against demons is simply propaganda designed to divide and weaken both sides.
My demoness introduced herself to me. You’ll get to know her only here. She’s mine. And she, too, had been waiting forever to be found again. She works with timelines, and I remembered that I did as well. Together, we started to bend what humans call “time.” I finally found a sister. In the demonic world, there is no “girls support girls.” When you become too powerful, another Queen will stab you without mercy.
I met my vampire. Paimon reintroduced him to me, we had once been a couple. Stay here if you want knowledge about real vampires. I learned that vampires exist on Earth, but they don’t necessarily drink blood like they do in the movies. Instead, they feed on energy.
Paimon explained that trees can deliver life force energy to feed spirits. He advised me to let our spirits feed from my plants, as the number of residents was rapidly increasing, and of course, the King’s advice always hit the mark. The plants consented, and I became a plant alchemist.
My house became a sanctuary for known and unknown spirits: dark, light, and everything in between. I developed an interest in incubi and succubi, and again they are much more than the myths say. No, they are not desperate for humans and their loneliness, they have better things to do, like studying and guarding my home. Berith and I gave the sanctuary a name. I promised to feed and take care of them so they could stay permanently in the human world.
Glasya-Labolas was watching everything I did. He finally said he had been sent by Mother to flirt with me. I told him that sounded insane, like I was making everything up, like the delulu wannabe demonolaters here online, and that nobody would believe it. He replied, “Make it even wilder and let the world see through consistency.”
I started this blog, and Haagenti introduced me to his elites so I could learn about storytelling and attract both real demonolaters and people who simply love dark romance novels. Demonology is a niche, a very small one, the one far from the commerce. And to the people copying and trying to feed on my posts already on this little indie blog: we see you. Good luck. Haagenti’s elites became guest writers on this blog. There are more Kings out there than dusty grimoires would have you believe.
In the meantime, I found many colleagues in this line of work, but not everyone applauded when I was winning. One relationship divides worlds, and I walk that path far too well as a human. My spirits removed them from my life, and by writing this, I do not allow them to profit from being mentioned here. I called my energy back and allow no further access.
But I learned that my friends in the human world are warlocks too. Baal revealed us to each other. I finally had people I could trust and talk to. I only wish we had spoken about it sooner, the signs where there. It is true: you are never truly alone in this world.
By now, I knew that the war between demons and angels was propaganda, I can’t say it often enough, and that many of the myths surrounding them are fake. Even so, I was surprised to learn that I had originally worked for Yahweh before being born while still keeping company with so many demons. Yahweh became a quite badass deity for me I loved to write more about him like The Demiurge to expose every left over lie told in this system.
It was time for more revelations, and I had decisions to make. I learned that my light is not a free resource and that my idealism to help every human will be my end. I decided for one path and became, without apology, honestly f*ck what people think, Paimon’s sole priestess until my time here is up. He said I must hold the title when I really want it, so I will. Should we go on Tiktok even, like with my face? Everyone does.
We rebooted this blog, and here we are. I really am very happy by now.
Yours,
Doris.
