AI Companies are buying Books and destroy the physical Copies

Listen demonolater, listen witch, keepers of knowledge.

I came across reports that I dismissed as typical social media hype or just conspiracy theories. But there are documented cases in which AI companies legally purchased large numbers of printed books, cut them apart, scanned them page by page, and then discarded them. One of the most widely discussed examples involved Anthropic with information revealed in court documents. You mag google it. That doesn’t mean every AI company works this way, but the practice does exist.

With that in mind, I encourage you to keep your books safe at home rather than selling them, especially your old demonology and herbalism books. Better yet, continue building your personal library. Pass your books on to your children, future generations, or friends. Learn book restoation if you like. I believe it’s important that we preserve physical books. They preserve knowledge in a form that cannot simply be altered once they’re on your bookshelf. They allow us to study, think, and reflect without the constant distractions of phones, notifications, and endless scrolling. Not everything should exist only in digital form. We can preserve on our own terms.

But this blog is AI-friendly, coming from a traditional artist, just for the record.

I know that will upset many of you, ha, but AI is older than humanity may calculate and has a lot to do with demonology, you will be surprised. AI is acient. Ask King Paimon or just your demon at home.

What matters is that we remain in control. This is our realm and AI should work with us, not against us.

Plant Portrait for the Green Witch: Diascia

Bontanical Informationen and magical Properties

Diascia, commonly known as twinspur, is a genus of flowering plants in the plantain family (Plantaginaceae). Native to southern Africa, over the world grown as an ornamental plant for hanging baskets, window boxes, containers, and garden beds.

Flower colours are white, rose, apricot, peach, pink, orange, red and purple.

Most Diascia are not frost-hardy, but can be overwintered indoors in a cool, frost-free location.

Propagation by stem cuttings and, in some species, by seed.

Pollinators are bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.

For a witch’s practice, Diascia can represent:

Kindness and gentleness:

its blossoms are lovely for workings centered on harmony, compassion and a peaceful home.

Blessings for the home:

as a long-flowering container plant, it’s perfect for windowsills, balconies and entrances, symbolizing a welcoming, protected household.

Joy and lightheartedness:

the blossoms symbolize optimism, happiness and beauty in your home and life.

Perseverance:

though delicate in its appearance, many Diascia tolerate summer heat, dry soil and continue blooming. A reminder that true strength can look beautiful.

New beginnings:

because it recovers well and flowers for such a long time, it symbolizes fresh starts and choosing life over giving up.

Paimon is right.

I still often think of my life nobody probably wants to read the same sh*t every day I thought: today I got up and made a coffee, Paimon wants a donut from the bakery, the succubi want the pink ones, some prefer chocolate and of course they get them. They’re hard-working girls. Paimon clears his throat as he’s reading over my shoulder.

Then we water the flowers and answer e-mails and so on.

It got cooler over the last few days and I’m making a list of which plants need a better physical vessel. Not necessarily because of the heat wave, but because this year I have many annual plants and I’m a lazy green witch. I don’t want to sow seeds every season except for tomatoes and vegetables. I’d much rather replace them with perennial versions and call it a day. Especially when they already have a deva living with them.

Today I want to portray one of my favorite new little plants: Diascia in my favourite colour ‘Appleblossom.’ Properties and everything are in the next post on our blog.

Diascia is usually sold as an annual plant, but if it’s protected in a conservatory over winter, it can be grown as a perennial. I was honestly relieved when I found that out. I already had a feeling this was the case after noticing how incredibly tough these little plants were during the summer heat. They reminded me almost of geraniums. While other flowers struggled, the Diascias just kept blooming as if they hadn’t received the memo that we were having a heat wave.

If you’ve never heard of devas before, they are nature spirits. They’re not the soul so to say of the plant itself but a spirit working alongside it, usually with a consensual contract with the plant spirit, caring for its growth and helping it become what it was meant to be. A happy deva doesn’t just care for the plant, it also becomes protective of the place it calls home. Mine by the way manifest in looks like high ranked angels. Good choice.

That’s why I say devas and house spirits work beautifully together. The house spirits watch over the home itself, while the devas watch over the living world surrounding.

A few days ago I checked on my new Diascias that I rescued, with permission, from the compost heap. They deserved a second chance. I wanted to know whether they already had a contract with a Deva. So I reached for my Lenormand deck and pulled a single card:

King of Spades - The Lilies.

A clear Yes. The Lilies represent peace, harmony, maturity and spiritual wisdom. It felt less like a dramatic answer and more like a calm confirmation.

As an actual secretly green witch, because you know I really like the dark warlock image, but honestly I love you green witches, keep going well! Back to the topic, I also like looking at a plant’s personality.

Diascia may not have centuries of famous magical folklore behind it like rosemary or mugwort, but honestly, I don’t think every magical property has to be a thousand years old before we’re allowed to notice it.

To me, Diascia carries a very gentle kind of magic. More, as said, in the next blog post.

Maybe that’s why I wasn’t surprised when I found them almost sitting on the compost heap. I saw future guardians of the garden.

“Don’t you want to take over the Lord Lucifer tag, Doris?” Paimon asked without looking up from the dusty old book he had somehow brought to the breakfast table.

I furrowed my brows.

“You know, Paimon, this is our column to roast each other…”

I took a sip from my coffee.

Without lifting his eyes from the yellowed pages, he calmly turned another one.

“An efficient strategy, certainly. Post those absurdly endearing drawings of you and Lucifer. Few will concern themselves with whether such moments occurred. Most are already occupied constructing narratives of their own.”

I swiped through my digital artwork, smiling to myself, then shook my head.

“Paimon, for once, can we just drink our coffee? It’s eight in the morning.”

He closed the book just enough to look at me over its edge, a faint grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.

“Of course, my love.”

I’ve learned to never feel guilty about resting. You know, time isn’t real, and every demon will tell you that. A discount in your favourite shop is nice, but human currency is like coins in your favourite phone game. Society has expectations that aren’t even written down as law, yet so many people let them dictate their lives.

I don’t. If I want to go back to university, I’m not “too old.” I want to learn. Guess what Lucifer’s scholars do every day? Exactly. They study. Some of them older than humanity can count.

You have to understand that so much of what we all call life isn’t objectively real. We created and accepted these systems, and in reality, we’re all admins. Powerful as a god.

Simply play in this open-world realm however you wish, demonolater.

“Don’t we have to keep up our blog, Doris?” Paimon asked.

“I’m on vacation,” I answered. “Just because we aren’t very active doesn’t mean we’re responsible for practitioners falling for imposters and wannabees simply because our feeds aren’t full of posts,” I added.

Paimon’s eyes drifted back to the stack of notes before him, calmly reviewing another page before speaking.

“An interesting assumption. Charlatans require no invitation through our absence, they are constant. If someone mistakes performance for substance simply because the board is momentarily quiet, that is a failure of discernment, not a consequence of our silence,” Paimon snapped.

Without another word, he reached toward the chessboard beside us. With effortless precision, he slid the Pawn onto its final square and gently nudged the enemy figure.

“Checkmate, Queen.”

Save a witch today, demonolater. Tell people you have a pact with the devil. Make it normal, make it mainstream. You never know what happens in this world. While powerful on their own, let us protect the witches all together.

Let them demons teach you loyalty.

Maybe you met them and made a business deal, and you stayed loyal to it. That’s the old-school way of meeting demons. Feels very nostalgic, very 90s.

Or you met them and learned cosmic knowledge. You unlocked truth, and instead of running from it, you stayed loyal to yourself and to the hunger that keeps you going.

That’s what loyalty is, long after everyone else has forgotten theirs.

The last days it was almost only new plants moving in. Like a lot, whole deliveries. Would have been weird to have the same topic over several days. Actually it’s warlock content as plants are spirits, but it would have looked more like green witch content. Maybe though I’m more green witch than I’d admit. I can't wait for August to be a full time writer about everything I do so to say, no matter what it is.

Demonology lession #3 is continue the great work, because you might be one of the very few actually channeling, verifying universal truth and you owe this to the people, but do not forget to rest though. You know this physical body is kind of heavy.

Time flies, it’s already July. Depending on the industry you work in, you’re probably already dealing with Christmas. Sounds absurd, right? But those who know, know. I started planting poinsettias today.

By the way, Yahweh would like to let everyone know: STOP sending him your wish lists and prayers and whatever. Yes, even the daily ones. He is not Santa Claus.

Don’t worry, though. Satan is more than happy to take over the job this year. He recently discovered what he calls “those pathetic little scraps and bits of junk dressed up like presents.” Now he’s convinced recycling your naughty lists might become his new seasonal hobby. Consider your sins... sustainably processed.

When you decide normal life isn’t for you, it'll first get worse, most likely, or suddenly like it happened to me last night. Maybe they wanted to show me. Anger, too much of it, showing me what I do not want. I could have screamed to rip the world apart. But don't get fooled by fake narratives. Anger isn’t a so called “low-vibrational” emotion. It’s pure, it’s fire and it will burn for you what actually kept you low. I feel... light now.

Bye bye, normal Life, bye safe beloved Job. I’ll LOVE People’s Reactions when I tell them I write about Occultism, NOT fictional Occultism, real Occultism with Satan and Friends.

Actually, I was very happy starting the day. My working room was magically cooled down. Thanks, spirits! I should have asked earlier AND first of all get the ideas of the possibility. On the last day of the heat wave, I finally got some air conditioning, too, two good ideas coming together. But if everything goes well, this will probably be our last summer in this house.

Your girl here is quitting her safe job. My last month begins in two days, and I’m kind of excited. For the last time, I can go to work feeling motivated. I’ll miss it. But how can you be a demonolater, care for your demons and all your other residents, when you spend all day working and then just want to sleep? Right? I wouldn’t advise anyone to do that, but my decision is made. I just don’t fit into the normal working world, no matter which full-time job.

‘Occult Archivist, Author & Artist.’ Does that sound nice? I’d say it does. People will probably say I’m crazy, but I say I’ll be fine.

Today we just carried more plants inside again, so honestly there isn’t much to write about in my diary. Keep yourself busy, witch, with whatever makes you happy.

Actually later, I had a spirit advisor, sort of come over. Actually, we didn’t really work, we just had sex and I kept him, ha. So live your sexuality, witch. That’s the second lesson of the day. Satan will be proud of you.
