Berrington sighed contentedly as he looked out onto the garden, it was a beautiful night and a meteor shower was promised ... tilting his glass of brandy towards his mouth, he inhaled deeply, and then ... his hand paused ... his eyes became fixed and, with a shake of his head, he put the glass back on the table ... he continued shaking his head as he sat down and began putting his shoes back on ... it would seem his night would be busy after all ... he'd just spotted his mistress heading for the maze ...
'Is it me Berrington, or does the bottle change colour the more you drink?' ... the butler watched his mistress benevolently as she relaxed into the evening, wondered briefly whether he should tell her that her face was now also the same hue as the wine, and came to the conclusion that he would merely ensure that tomorrow's attire would be suitably complimentary to her new skin colour ...
'A whole new dictionary to plunder' Jacaranda sighed ... 'sorry madam' said the butler 'I didn't quite catch what you said' ... smiling at the coffee pot he'd placed next to her, she murmured 'neither did I Berrington, neither did I' ...
Starring: Rachel Berry, Jesse St. James, and Hunter Clarington
Notes: Rachel meets up with an old flame in hopes to keep some kind of friendship but as the meeting unfolds she’s unsure of if that’s a possibility.
Rachel Berry:
To say Rachel was nervous would be a vast understatement. She hadn’t seen Jesse St. James in a really long time and she had buried whatever feelings she’d had for him previously deep down and put them to rest. Now, she was confident in her feelings for Hunter and she knew that she was in love with him and she knew he was the man she wanted to be with- she wanted him. But there was a point and time in her life that she wanted Jesse, too. She wanted him and she wanted the life she’d dreamt up for them and while she knew that her feelings for Hunter were different, it was still something she didn’t really care to revisit. And after the conversations she’d shared with Jesse the week leading up to this day-- he knew her. Next to Hunter, Jesse was the one person on the planet who knew Rachel, the real Rachel. And it was one of the things that scared her a little-- because even though Hunter knew her better, Jesse was still a slight weakness.
Naively, Rachel decided to trust Jesse and just go meet him as friends and as long as the three of them got along okay then she could keep her feelings for him buried and they could start over just as friends and everything would be just fine. Rachel went straight from school to the Lima Bean in hopes that she and Hunter would have a few moments of alone time to calm herself before Jesse showed up. Just as she’d promised her boyfriend, she’d dressed in her typical tights and shorts combo so she’d be comfortable for their planned bike ride after the awkward meet-up. Taking a deep breath before getting out of her car, Rachel went inside and ordered her own coffee before taking a seat closer to the back corner-- knowing full well that none of them were afraid to make a scene, thinking that being in the corner would save them from being kicked out of the place at least.
As she sat at the table, Rachel chewed on her lip, fingers fiddling with the cardboard slip around her hot beverage. Her chest felt tight and she wondered if it was too late to just bail.
Jesse St. James:
Jesse had arrived to the coffee shop early, anticipating that it might give him a little alone time with Rachel before her stupid boyfriend decided to show up. When he saw Rachel walk into the coffee shop, he hid behind a pillar whilst clutching his coffee close to his chest. She looked just like he last remembered her but she carried herself differently. As he peered around the pillar while remaining undetected, he noticed that she seemed much more mature than he’d remembered. She was a woman. With a smirk on his lips after seeing that Rachel had arrived unaccompanied, he walked over to the table she was seated at with his own coffee in his hand. “Hey, stranger,” he greeted the young woman, flashing her a debonair smile. “I thought I saw Barbra herself walk into this mediocre Lima coffee shop but here I stand corrected and it was actually you.” He took a seat directly across from Rachel, pretending to look around for a moment. “Did your boyfriend decide not to show up after all? I don’t blame him, I know I can be pretty intimidating as the coach to his biggest competition at Nationals and also as your ex-boyfriend.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel pulled her gaze up from her coffee when she heard the familiar voice that wasn’t Hunter’s, glancing back down with a bashful smile as Jesse complimented her. “Jes,” She giggled, blushing-- he knew her well enough to know that comparing her to Barbra was enough to flatter her. “Stop.” She shook her head, taking a breath before offering him the seat. When he sat down and asked about Hunter, she nodded. “Oh, no, he’s coming. It’s a two-hour drive from Westerville-- I’m sure he’ll be here soon.” She assured him before settling in her seat a little more.
Continuing to chew on her lip and fiddle with the coffee on the table, Rachel chuckled. “I can’t believe you’re here.” She shook her head once more, shrugging. “I-I don’t even know what to say or where to begin.” Rachel felt a twist in her stomach that she couldn’t quite label as she looked him over-- he looked good. More mature and even more handsome than she’d remembered him. “I-how...how are you?” Her face screwed up a little, brow furrowed as she giggled again. “Is that a lame place to start?”
Jesse St. James:
“Well I should consider myself so lucky to be graced by your presence alone,” Jesse retorted, leaning forward in his seat and taking Rachel’s hand into his. He shook his head as his eyes remained trained on the woman in front of him. “And it’s not lame at all,” he assured her, giving her hand a tiny squeeze. “I’m doing as well off as I can, all things considered. Being the coach of Vocal Adrenaline while holding a legacy of four-time national champion comes with a lot of expectations of me-- nothing Jesse St. James can’t handle, though.” He winked.
“I’ve missed you a lot and I want to know how you’ve been doing, too. I’ve heard a lot of things since I’ve been back in town and I think I’m most surprised that you’re dating a Dalton boy.” He ducked his head then, letting out a breathy laugh before looking back up at his ex-girlfriend. “But never mind that right now; I want to know what’s going on with you. How’ve your preparations for your NYADA audition been? New York has no idea what it’s in store for come next year.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s hesitated for only a moment as Jesse took her hand, debating if she should let him do so or if she should pull away. She didn’t pull it away though, letting the familiar feeling of his touch settle in her skin. Her stomach flitted around slightly when he winked at her and she internally shushed herself.
Giving another little shrug, Rachel smiled at him. “My preparations are going well. I struggled with what to sing briefly but then I decided to go with my strongest choice-- because even if it’s overdone, my talent will shine brightly enough through it that it won’t matter. They won’t hear the lyrics, they’ll just see me owning that stage and hear my voice.” She gave a confident nod, glancing down for a moment. “I was notified of my audition dates and I freaked out a little bit-- that’s actually when everything with Hunter’s roommate happened and I had an anxiety attack.” Her brow furrowed deeply when she spoke of the day, trying to push the memories of the incident behind her. “I was stressed out about NYADA and I went to Hunter because he calms me and then--” She shook her head, taking a breath and looking at him with a forced smile. “But everything’s okay now. I’m-I’m looking forward to the audition, I guess-- I don’t know. I never really got the chance to calm my worries because of what happened.”
Jesse St. James:
Jesse’s thumb was rubbing little imaginary circles into her hand as he held it, listening to her talk and nodding along as she talked to him about her upcoming audition. Regardless of song choice or what day it was on, he already knew she would do well. He had high expectations for Rachel and she never disappointed; she was a star, after all. “I’m sure you’ll be fine, Rachel. You were born for the spotlight and for Broadway; I have no doubt that Madame Tibideaux will be more than excited to accept you into her very exclusive school.”
He furrowed his brow as he listened to Rachel go on what happened with Hunter’s roommate. He only met and knew of a few Dalton students but he wondered if many of them were similar to that of the one that made a move on Rachel. He wondered to himself if Hunter was capable of doing that. “Are you okay? After everything that happened?” He asked, concerned for Rachel’s well-being and mental health. Despite his chagrin that Rachel was taken, he was glad that she had someone to lean on in times of distress. Of course, had she not been dating Hunter in the first place, none of this would’ve happened.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel always appreciated how much Jesse believed in her-- whether they were dating or just friends or nothing at all, he still believed in her and it was something she would always cherish. She had a special place in her heart for the very few who believed in her no matter what. Despite that, though, it still made her nervous to think about her audition. “I-I know I’ll do great. I’m just a little nervous still because if someone like you can’t get in-- I don’t know how much hope there is for me.” She admitted, always one to let the other know that she was full aware of how talented he was, too.
She found the way Jesse caressed her hand with his thumb soothing and it relaxed her just slightly as she spoke to him. “I’m okay.” She said a little less confidently. “I’ve tried not to think too much about it since that night. Hunter and I spent the weekend together at my house and kind of just….shut ourselves out from the world. It was really nice and what I needed.” Lifting her gaze to look at him for a moment before glancing away. “I’m okay, I think. I don’t know. I’m...scared to go back to Dalton-- which is upsetting because it was becoming one of my safe places. You know I have very few safe places. I don’t want to see him again and I’m afraid that if I go visit Hunter-- Steven will be there again and somehow it’ll be worse than last time. I mean...he only kissed me and groped me this time. What if I somehow am left alone with him again and he gets what he wants this time?” She asked rhetorically, closing her eyes and running her free hand over her face, visibly stressing out a bit from the thoughts of what happened, what could’ve happened, and what could happen if Steven got her alone again.
Jesse St. James:
Jesse found it in his best interest to ignore what Rachel said about spending a wonderful weekend together with her boyfriend. He wasn’t interested in the guy or what he did to help her; Jesse just knew he could do a better job at making Rachel feel safe and okay. His frown deepened when Rachel continued to talk about her stresses and how she felt afraid to go back to Dalton, fearing that she might run into her attacker and take things a step further. He quickly stood up, moving his chair around the table and sitting closer to Rachel. “You don’t have to go back there if you don’t feel safe. There’s no reason your boyfriend can’t come out to see you if he wants,” Jesse reasoned. He took her other hand into his own, forcing her to look into his eyes. “And I wouldn’t let anything like that happen to you.”
He was always known to a bold individual. Jesse very rarely ever took “no” for an answer and when Rachel expressed she was afraid, he was determined to be someone who could protect her, even if he wasn’t her boyfriend anymore. But that was just the thing: Jesse wasn’t her boyfriend. Not yet, anyway. “As a dear friend, of course,” he reiterated, reminding himself of his and Rachel’s previous conversation to keep this meet-up strictly between two friends.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel took a breath as Jesse came to sit closer to her, letting him take her hands and looking into his eyes as he spoke to her, sweetly letting her know that he wouldn’t let anything happen to her. The feelings inside of her were conflicting and she didn’t know what to label them as. Hunter made her feel safest, calmest-- but Jesse made her feel safe, too. Even after all of this time, despite her feelings not calm in that moment, she felt safe-- no worries that anything might happen to them because she knew she was safe with Jesse.
When Jesse made no move to let go of her hands, but yet still assure her he was there just as her friend, she couldn’t stop her mouth from twitching upwards as she glanced down. Her cheeks were feeling warm as her eyelashes fanned out over them, shaking her head. “Jes,” She chuckled, feeling a slight tension building up somewhere in their general vicinity. Giving his hands a gentle squeeze, brushing her thumb over his skin. “You’re so nice to me-- I don’t get it.” She shook her head. Rachel knew that Jesse was in love with her still and that he wanted her but she didn’t understand it-- she had done him so dirty. She didn’t deserve his attention or his feelings. She’d just let him go with little to no explanation to run back to Finn. It was something she regretted even still, being the type of person she was, she felt guilty still for hurting him the way she did.
Jesse St. James:
Jesse shrugged his shoulders and cocked his head to the side, giving Rachel a coy look. They both knew exactly why he was being so nice to her and it should’ve been obvious by how forward he had been with her in their previous conversations. She and Jesse both had history that he didn’t want to throw away or forget about anytime soon. “Maybe I just think you deserve to be treated right,” he said. He brought her hands up to his lips and pressed a soft, little-more-than-friendly kiss to her hands. He lingered as he looked at her eyes before letting their hands fall back onto the table yet still joined.
He knew he was treading a mighty fine line with Rachel. She claimed that she was in love with Hunter but Jesse didn’t know this man. He didn’t know anything about him and this so-called love when he knew for a fact that he loved Rachel more than any person possibly could and would continue to do so regardless of whoever claimed to love her more than him. “You’re even more beautiful than I last remembered you, by the way. You’ll have all the boys at your feet begging to be with you when you get to NYADA.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel completely ignored the moment to defend that she was treated very well, distracted as she watched Jesse intently as he brought her hands up to kiss them, almost as if it was in slow motion and her breath caught in her throat at the way he looked at her. It was like she was unable to take her hands away, even when they rested on the table, she still let Jesse hold them for whatever reason her subconscious had.
Rolling her eyes at Jesse’s statement, grinning that bashful grin of hers as she giggled softly. He was always one to build her up. “Oh, stop, I’m sure there won’t be. You and Hunter only love me because I’m the most talented girl in the state.” She teased, winking at him. “There will be plenty of girls more talented than I am at NYADA.” Nibbling on her lip again, Rachel gave him another once over. “You look really good, too, you know. Handsome as ever.” She complimented him easily. “Even if you and I had stayed together-- you would’ve dumped me at NYADA when you realized there are much prettier, more talented girls there.”
Jesse St. James:
Jesse shook his head then, narrowing his eyes when Rachel talked about how she would’ve been dumped the minute they got to New York. “Maybe Hunter lets you think he’s only with you because you’re the most talented girl in Ohio, but I wouldn’t dump you for anyone else. You’re more than just talented, Rachel-- so much more.” He pursed his lips then, stopping himself from going any further into that conversation. If he said more, then he would be speaking from his feelings and he knew it wasn’t what Rachel wanted-- at least not right now. They were only just meeting again after not having seen each other for the past few months and he had plenty of time to get back within Rachel’s graces and in her heart.
“This time next year, you’ll practically be running NYADA and I’ll be back where I belong in New York, too. I’m saving up my money right now by being the Vocal Adrenaline coach so I can get a studio apartment up there and find my big break. If I can just get my foot in the door, then I just know I’ll be headlining a Broadway show in no time!” Jesse spoke with passion and confidence whenever he spoke about performing. It was almost like performing was in his blood. He had a primal need for the stage that little Ohio couldn’t provide him with. “Maybe one day I’ll even get to direct my own production.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel sighed softly when Jesse made yet another comment about Hunter and that’s when she finally pulled her hands away from him to straighten up in her seat, taking her coffee and sipping it. “Hunter doesn’t make me feel like that. Hunter makes me feel like I’m perfect.” She defended her boyfriend effortlessly, placing her coffee back down to fidget with the sleeve once more. “He makes me feel loved and cherished-- he told me he wants to be with me forever.” She grinned widely to herself, glancing down. She figured this information was okay to share considering they were trying to be friends.
Lifting her gaze up to Jesse once more, she listened with a soft smile as he went on about his dreams and desires-- the passion he had for performing and New York and the stage was something they both had in common. It was something their relationship had been based on previously until they really got to know one another. It was still something she admired about him. “I’ve told you a hundred times that I know for a fact that once you get yourself out there, really out there, you’re going to be huge in no time. Everyone will wonder where you’ve been all their life.” She was the one to reach over and touch his hand this time. “I believe in you, Jes. As much as you believe in me.”
Jesse St. James/Hunter Clarington:
Jesse’s expression dropped a bit as Rachel came to her boyfriend’s defense. What he really wanted to do was huff and cross his arms over his chest, claiming that no man who loved Rachel unconditionally would ever allow her to feel like she was less than the brightest star on the entire planet. Still, he needed to maintain at least some facade that Hunter didn’t bother him. He was at least glad that Rachel still believed in him, even if he was stuck in this podunk little town for a bit longer. He was just about to lean over and reach to take her hand again when out of the corner of his eye, he recognized the face of one Hunter Clarington.
Immediately straightening up and even scooting his chair back to its original spot, Jesse took hold of his coffee and sipped nonchalantly as the Warbler looked around the coffee shop. When Hunter spotted the two of them sitting near the back, he gave a little wave of recognition as he made his way over.
“Hey, sorry I’m late; rehearsal ran a little late today,” Hunter apologized, pulling a chair up to the table and taking a sit right next to his girlfriend. He greeted her with a chaste kiss, causing Jesse to grimace. The younger man easily took Rachel’s hand into his, giving it a squeeze before addressing the eldest at the table. “You must be the infamous Jesse St. James that I've been hearing so much about.”
Jesse slipped into character and provided Hunter with a cursory smile, extending his hand over the table for a handshake. “Pleased to make your acquaintance, Hunter. I've heard things about you as well.”
“Yeah, from our good friend Sebastian so I'm sure everything you've been told is superb.” Hunter set his jaw, giving Jesse an almost challenging look, reluctantly giving the other man a firm handshake. “Heard you two went out to a club. You take teenagers out to get drunk often? Seems irresponsible.”
With that comment, Jesse huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. “I like to have fun; I've heard that you're kind of a stick in the mud.”
Hunter chuckled dryly but held his tongue, aware that engaging any further would cause a scene. The tension between them was so palpable it could be cut with a knife.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel smiled when she noticed Hunter walk through the door, feeling herself calm a little bit with just the sight of him alone. “Hey you,” She kissed him back with almost a sigh of relief before she took his hand tightly as he sat next to her. She felt stronger, somehow, with him there next to her. She watched carefully as the two men exchanged greetings and as the tension grew between them, she could feel it deep in her stomach as well. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea.
Letting go of Hunter’s hand to slip her arm around his, shaking her head. “Hunter isn’t a stick in the mud. He’s very adventurous, he drives a motorcycle, you know. We take rides together quite often.” She said with a smile, beaming over at Hunter before returning her attention to Jesse. “He’s planning on taking me camping sometime in the future, too.” She cleared her throat, taking a drink of her coffee. “Hunter’s actually a lot of fun.” She defended.
Jesse St. James/Hunter Clarington:
Jesse alternated looks of disbelief between his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. He wasn’t sure what sounded more ridiculous-- Rachel being in a relationship with an apparent bad boy or the prospect of her camping. “Why on earth would you actually want to spend time camping? Especially when it’s almost winter?” he asked confusedly. His brows furrowed together and he sipped his own coffee.
“Rachel has an appreciation for nature; we like to watch sunsets and stargaze together,” Hunter practically bragged, looking over to his girlfriend with a genuine smile. “And we’d obviously wait until it were warmer, St. James.”
Jesse rolled his eyes. “Shouldn’t you be getting a coffee or something?”
Hunter shrugged. “Yeah, maybe I’ll get something. You need a refill, Rach?” He asked, before leaving the two alone to get himself a drink, but not before throwing the other man a warning look.
“Well he seems charming so far,” Jesse cleared his throat, “I didn’t know you were into the bad boy type.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel couldn’t help but smile back at Hunter when he tossed her a smile, nodding when he offered to refill her coffee. “Thank you, honey.” She said sweetly, handing over her empty cup before he walked away. Turning her attention to the older man in front of her, raising her eyebrows. “You’re not being very nice, you know.” She whispered, motioning towards the entire shop. “Everyone in here can feel the tension between you two.”
Crossing her arms and leaning back in her chair, Rachel shrugged her shoulders a little. “Well, maybe there’s a lot you don’t know about me, Jes.” Her brow furrowed slightly. “You know me differently than he does. And, he’s not really a bad boy-- I mean yeah, he’s got the jacket, the bike, the temper-- but he isn’t bad. He’s a really good man, Jesse.” She said before glancing back towards Hunter. “He’s just...he’s kind of had a not-so-great hand dealt to him in the family area and it’s created some rough walls but he’s not bad.” Rachel said again, looking at Jesse.
Hunter Clarington/Jesse St. James:
Jesse’s expression softened when Rachel began talking about Hunter and his supposed history that made him into the person he was today. It was obvious that the two knew each other intimately and it would take a lot more than some over-the-top flirting and nostalgia to have Rachel coming back to him. “It sounds like you two are closer than I thought,” he noted, looking down and fidgeting with the cardboard slip around his coffee cup. “I guess I’m glad he makes you so happy-- even if he’s a stick in the mud.” He barely murmured his last sentence loud enough for her to hear but after he said it, he peered back up to meet her gaze. I just wish it could’ve been me.
Before Rachel could give a proper response, Hunter returned to the table, setting two cups of coffee on the table before retaking his place next to the girl. “You two gossiping about me behind my back?” He joked, sipping from his drink.
“On the contrary, we were just talking about how our futures in New York; Rachel tells me you’ll be accompanying us on ours roads to success and Broadway?” Jesse said, his mood clearly shifted from before and his tone actually sounding genuine.
Hunter gave Rachel a look of suspicion before nodding back at the older man. “Yeah, actually. I’ll be going to Cornell which is almost a five-hour drive away from Manhattan but, uh, Rachel and I are going to make our relationship work.” He took Rachel’s hand as a gesture of reassurance, aware of their future.
Jesse almost scoffed but he refrained. “Well aren’t you confident.”
“Yeah, I get that a lot.” Hunter chuckled. “Confident to know the Warblers will be kicking your asses when we get to Nationals. That means you, too, Rach,” he nudged at his girlfriend, letting out a playful laugh.
Even Jesse couldn’t help but laugh at that, some of the tension between the three of them relieved. “We’ll see about that, Hunter.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel watched Jesse’s face as she could tell the realization was setting in that she and Hunter weren’t just dating- It wasn’t just some kind of fun high school fling. She felt a tinge of guilt flit through her stomach. It felt wrong to be parading her relationship in front of Jesse like this. She didn’t know how they were supposed to be friends-- she saw that look in his eye and she knew what it meant. Rachel was just about to defend Hunter again when he came to sit back down with them and she closed her mouth, just scooting closer to him as he took his place next to her.
Taking her new hot beverage, she sipped it slowly, listening to the two talk about New York, rolling her eyes with a chuckle. “Okay, Warbler, whatever you say.” She shook her head, sitting up straighter in her seat. “I know you didn’t see it for yourself since you were off winning your own Sectionals-- but with me carrying the New Directions there’s no chance we’ll lose.” Rachel spoke candidly to the two boys, knowing there was no one within earshot that would be offended by her very true statement. “Jes, here, has been talking me up-- trying to get me to join Vocal Adrenaline.” She mentioned before she realized that probably wasn’t the best topic of conversation.
Hunter Clarington/Jesse St. James:
Hunter quirked an eyebrow at the mention of Jesse trying to coax her into Vocal Adrenaline but he couldn’t help but find it ballsy and amusing. If Dalton weren’t an all-boys school, it was something he could see himself doing because Rachel was extremely talented. “You’re barking up the wrong tree there, Jesse. She’s very devoted to her team-- almost as much as I am to the Warblers.”
“You can’t blame a guy for trying, right? Taking away the brightest star of the New Directions pretty much has us sealing the deal for winning the best in state. I’ve seen what the Warblers can do and frankly, I’m less than impressed.” Jesse was confident that the younger man wouldn’t call his bluff; the Warblers were incredibly talented but he had confidence that his own team would be better. He was at least a bit relieved that he wouldn’t have to worry about the Warblers at upcoming Regionals.
“Whatever, man. You need glasses if you don’t think the Warblers have what it takes to get to Nationals.” Hunter said.
“The New Directions do too, considering they have Rachel,” Jesse shot back, “You’d better watch your back, Warbler.”
A tight smile made its way on Hunter’s lips, his jaw set. It seemed to him that Jesse was either trying too hard to become his friend or he was trying to push the envelope on pissing him off, even going so far as to borrow Rachel’s petname for him in this moment albeit in a slightly condescending manner. “We’ll see, Jesse.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel looked down at Jesse used her nickname for Hunter, gritting her teeth before closing her eyes and sighing heavily. “Okay,” It rubbed her in all of the wrong ways, not just bothering Hunter but bothering her as well. Placing her coffee cup down, Rachel moved to stand up, straightening out her clothes, lifting her gaze to Jesse, her own jaw set.
She was regretting her choice to agree to meet with Jesse, the tense setting was making her a bit nauseous, especially now that she was bothered as well. “Jesse, it’s been nice catching up but, I think Hunter and I should be going.” Rachel gave a single nod, looking down at Hunter, raising her eyebrows expectantly.
Hunter Clarington/Jesse St. James:
A look of bewilderment passed over Jesse’s face when Rachel stood up. “Hey, wait--”
“Yeah, I agree,” Hunter cut Jesse off and stood up almost immediately after the girl did, picking up his coffee. He could sense Rachel’s discomfort even without meeting her expectant look. “I think it’s time we left and leave you to… whatever it is high school glee club coaches do.” With a cocky chuckle, he placed a hand on Rachel’s shoulder and guided her toward the exit, barely bidding the older man a goodbye. They left Jesse sitting there, looking and feeling stupid.
When they exited the coffee house and Hunter dumped the rest of his coffee into a trash can, he walked over to his motorcycle parked right next to Rachel’s car. “That wasn’t exactly what I was expecting,” he commented, not wanting to say anything negative in front of Rachel. As much as Hunter disliked Jesse, he knew the two of them were still friends. “Are you okay?” He asked, looking his girlfriend over.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel said another goodbye to Jesse before letting Hunter lead her out of the coffee shop and to the motorcycle next to her car. With a heavy sigh, she leaned back against her car, crossing her arms, looking down at the ground. “I’m fine. I honestly don’t know what I was expecting.” Her voice was soft, sounding dejected almost. She didn’t feel good about Hunter and Jesse’s meeting at all, and she didn’t know how she felt about her meeting with Jesse.
Bringing her hands up to rub her face gently, combing her fingers through her brown hair as she stayed resting against her car, her gaze moving up to Hunter, looking a him and shaking her head. “I’m sorry, I don’t know if this was a good idea.” She stated, crossing her arms over her stomach as if hugging herself.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter moved closer to her, frowning slightly at her expression and body language. He wasn’t sure what anyone was expecting out of this little meet-up except that Jesse wanted to make his intentions for Rachel well-known. “Hey, it’s okay; we’re okay,” he reassured her, pressing a kiss to her forehead before bringing her in for a hug. “We don’t have to meet him again if you don’t want. I don’t have any desire to be in the same room with the guy ever again.” He shrugged slightly then, speaking honestly because he knew he always could whenever he was speaking with Rachel. “He’s kind of an asshole.”
Hoping to salvage the rest of the day, Hunter motioned over to his bike. “Want to go for a ride? You can either leave your car here and we can drive around here or we can take your car home first and we can go riding from your place.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel seemingly relaxed a little bit when Hunter kissed her forehead and pulled her closer, she sighed softly as she let her arms slip around his bigger frame, leaning into him. She listened to his statement and didn’t completely disagree with him because while spending time with Jesse alone was okay-- when they were all three there together it was slightly more stressful. She didn’t know how she felt about spending any time alone together with Jesse, knowing his intentions were not to just be friends. “I don’t know-- I just want to be done with it today and I want to be with you.” She said, looking up at him.
A smile spread across her face when he suggested they go for their ride and she nodded. “Mmm, yes please. We can just leave my car here.” She bit down on her lip gently as she looked at him. “Thank you for coming today, I know you didn’t really want to.” She said before leaning up and capturing his lips with her own to kiss him slowly.
Hunter Clarington/Jesse St. James:
“Anything for you, Rach,” Hunter said with a smile, wrapping his arms around her waist and reciprocating her kiss. It made him glad that he was able to make Rachel forget about her worries and stresses, even if it was just for right now. He was so caught up in the moment and being with Rachel, he didn’t even hear the bell on the front door to the coffee shop chime.
Jesse exited the shop and saw the two he had just been with, leaning against Rachel’s car, kissing. Something inside of him crumbled and he just left, feeling and looking dejected. He wasn’t sure what he should’ve expected-- the two were dating each other after all and couples kissed each other. He got into his Range Rover without saying another word, peeling out of the parking lot.
The sound of tires screeching against asphalt was enough to catch Hunter’s attention, breaking him away from his tender kiss with Rachel. He caught a glimpse of the driver, immediately recognizing him as Jesse and figuring out what must’ve just happened. He gave Rachel a semi-amused look, internally pleased with himself for effectively pissing Jesse off. Maybe now he’d gotten the message loud and clear that there was no breaking them up.
“C’mon,” he tugged on Rachel’s hand, leading her over to the bike. “Forget about him and let’s just drive.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel melted into Hunter’s hold as they kissed, humming happily against his mouth. Something about the Warbler always calmed her better than anything in the world and for that she was truly thankful.
When they heard the tires screeching and they broke their kiss to look after whoever was peeling out of the parking lot, Rachel’s stomach twisted uncomfortably with unwarranted guilt. Great. As if this hadn’t been bad enough, now Jesse had seen them making out against her car and clearly he had not appreciated the scene of affection from the happy couple. Her eyes glanced down as a heavy sigh fell from her lips. She let Hunter take her hand and pull her to his bike with a nod. “Right, yeah...let’s just- let’s just go.” She agreed. “Oh, wait.” She said, going back to her car to grab the leather jacket that was lying in the back seat, slipping it on before going back to the bike. She took her helmet and slipped it on her head, getting on the bike after Hunter and wrapping her arms around him tighter than usual, pressing her body against his. Pressing her cheek against his back, sighing softly. She just wanted to get in her bubble with Hunter and forget everything else again.

Hunter Clarington:
After having received an upsetting phone call from his father where he was advised not to come home for Thanksgiving, Hunter felt utterly alone. He laid in bed, hands crossed behind his head and realized almost everyone had left the dorms to enjoy their long weekend with their families. Looking over at the digital clock on his nightstand, he sighed realizing that had everything gone according to plan, he’d have been on a flight to his hometown to see his parents and his older brother. Instead, he was left alone in his dorm room, wondering what he had done to make himself feel like such a chump.
Getting fed up with feeling this way, he grabbed his motorcycle helmet and set off for a long drive. He already knew where he was going. He knew where he wanted to go and who he wanted to be with. He knew the roads by now like the back of his hand.
After a lengthy two-hour long drive, Hunter killed the engine to his bike when he arrived at Rachel’s home. He hadn’t sent her a warning text that was coming so he knew the girl was still under the impression he was going to Colorado. Still, he walked up to the door and knocked, hoping that she would be home.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel was tucked away inside the Berry’s family home, bustling about in the kitchen to organize the things they needed to still get together for Thanksgiving tomorrow. While her fathers had done well to make up most of the pies and some of the other foods the day before, they still needed to get things ready for dinner that night and the finishing touches for the meal the next day. She was feeling good about their Sectionals rehearsal she’d had with the New Directions that day and she was excited to see her family that night as most of them would be coming in later. She was excited but she was also enjoying the quiet, alone time, knowing she wouldn’t be getting anymore of it until at least Saturday night-- or even Sunday, when she could see Hunter again.
The shorter’s ears perked up when she heard a knock on the door, checking the time and furrowing her brow. None of her family should be getting in until well after dark, and she knew it wasn’t either one of her dads. She was just in the middle of peeling the potatoes for her father’s famous yam casserole, so she placed down the knife and wiped her hands off on the apron that was tied tightly around her waist. “Coming!” She said as she made her way to the door, opening it up. A mix of emotions ran through her and it showed obviously on her face. Hunter was the last person she expected to see-- figuring he was on a plane halfway to Colorado. “Hunt?” Her mouth flickered, unsure of how to feel. The moment she laid her eyes on him she knew something was wrong, so her mouth settled into a gentle line, her forehead wrinkling. “Wh-what’s wrong? Are you okay?” She asked, stepping forward to place her hands on his arms, looking for any signs of him being hurt, shaking her head.
Hunter Clarington:
After Hunter had knocked, he had shoved his hands into his pockets and was looking down at the ground. When the door opened up to reveal Rachel, his expression brightened but only slightly so. It was always a delight to lay eyes on his girlfriend. “Hey,” he greeted her with a smile that didn’t quite reach his face and he shook his head when Rachel reached out to him. “I’m-I’m fine, I’m fine,” he assured her. Without another word, he wrapped his arms around her and brought her in for a tight hug. He was grateful for her. He was grateful that he felt like he could come and see her whenever he needed it. Just having her there in front of her made him feel much better than sitting alone in his room.
When they separated, Hunter kept his eyes downcast albeit his best efforts to hide his true emotions. “You look cute in your apron-- You getting ready for Thanksgiving in there?” He asked, trying out a little small talk with his compliment. His smirk came across forced and he furrowed his brow when he realized it. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to just show up unannounced,” he shook his head again and took a step back, biting down on his bottom lip. “I just wanted to see you.”
Rachel Berry:
The worried look on Rachel’s face stayed put as she hugged Hunter tightly, not letting go of him even as he pulled away, her hands still on his arms to touch him, rubbing them soothingly as she looked up at him. When he mentioned her apron, she glanced down, completely forgetting within the past few seconds what she had been doing. “Oh,” She shook her head, reaching behind her to undo the apron, placing it on the table next to the door. “Yeah, I was just getting some stuff ready so Hiram and LeRoy don’t have to do it all tonight by themselves.” She explained quickly, waving her hand as if it didn’t matter.
“Don’t be silly-- you’re always welcome here.” Rachel said, placing her hands on his arms again to continue rubbing them slowly. She knew something was wrong, she could see right through him and she knew whatever it was must’ve had to do with his family or else he’d be gone by now. “I’m very happy to see you, Warbler.” She smiled lovingly as him, she wasn’t going to push him further-- she knew if she got him feeling even a little bit better he would let her in. “You know what?” She said with a sweet smile, leaning up to kiss him softly, patting his arms before grabbing her phone and slipping on her shoes over her maroon tights. “I could use a ride right now. You wanna take me up to our place?” Rachel knew that riding his motorcycle through the winding roads helped Hunter clear his head and she knew that his spot, turned their spot, would be just where he’d want to go if he was down. “I need a break from all of this cooking.” She nodded, grabbing his leather jacket that she left handing on the coat rack and slipping it on before ushering him out of her house, the food forgotten about on the counter. Hunter was important right now. “C’mon handsome.” She laced her fingers with his, tugging him towards his Ducati.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter felt a little bit better when Rachel insisted that he was always welcome but he still felt and looked tense. When Rachel suggested the two of them get out of there and go for a drive, his mood lightened a bit and he nodded at her with a slight smile. “Yeah, I’d really like that,” he answered honestly, his voice quiet and subdued. He turned around to get on his bike, focusing more on the drive and the fact that he was with his girlfriend, and less on his negative feelings. Now that he was with Rachel, everything would be better. It was still daylight so they wouldn’t be able to stargaze and it was still a couple of hours away from sunset. That was okay for Hunter, though, because right now he felt like not even that would be enough to relieve him of what was plaguing him.
They arrived at the park where they stargazed on their first date and even though the playground had a few kids playing on and around it, their picnic table was vacant. Hunter took a seat and invited Rachel to sit with him. “Thanks for coming out here with me,” he told his girlfriend, staring down at his feet. “You can probably guess from the fact that I’m here that I’m not going to be spending Thanksgiving in Colorado.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel didn’t hesitate to put on her helmet and take her spot on his bike after he was seated, holding onto Hunter tight as they took off. Her chest felt a bit tight and her heart was beating slightly faster than normal--- she was worried about him and about what might’ve happened. She feared the worst possible thing-- a thousand things running through her mind as the bike growled under them as they winded through the back roads to the park they’d come to on their first date and multiple times since. It had become their spot to hang out when they wanted to just be alone without parents or roommates in the way. She hugged tightly against her boyfriend halfway through their right to let him know she was there.
Once they were in their spot, Rachel sat next to Hunter, slipping her arm around his and sitting as close as possible. She didn’t pay attention to anything else around them, her eyes glued to him as she waited for him to speak. “Of course, Hunt. I’d go anywhere with you.” She said softly before he told her that he wasn’t going, she nodded. “What happened?”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter was tight-lipped at first, eyes still glued to his shoes as he repeated the conversation with his father over and over in his head. He knew he wasn’t especially close to his family because he’d boarded at military schools and now Dalton but the holidays were something special. They were a chance for him to reconnect and spend time with the family he remembered from his childhood years. Especially after the evening he had spent with Rachel and her parents, having such a great time singing and laughing with them, he just wanted to feel the same way with his family.
“My parents told me not to come home.” Hunter said. His expression was blank as he said the words and the feeling sat heavily in his heart. He hated that the sentence made his parents sound so horrible so he tried to explain himself further. “My brother wasn’t able to get home so my parents thought a romantic getaway was a better idea. So I’m still here, in Ohio.”
Raising his head then to look up at the playground, not really noticing anything especially but just kind of staring somewhere far off, he let out a mirthless chuckle. His laugh sounded empty and broken. He turned his head towards Rachel, looking in her worried eyes. “But hey, I’m used to it, right? I’ve been in boarding schools for the past ‘however-many’ years… I should be used to feeling like this by now.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s face fell even further as Hunter explained the situation to her and she felt her stomach sink. She knew how much Hunter was looking forward to going home for the holiday-- how much he wanted to see his family. She knew that the relationship he had with them wasn’t anything like the one she had with her parents but she knew that they still meant a lot to him. When Hunter’s eyes met hers she could see the sadness behind the blank look--her heart breaking at the words that rolled off his tongue. He shouldn’t be used to feeling like that. No one ever should-- but especially him.
She slipped her arm away from his so she could wrap it around him, pulling him close to her so she could hug him sideways. “Hey, no.” She whispered. “No you shouldn’t-- baby…” Her voice wrapped around the petname softly, only loud enough for him to hear as she held him close. “I’m sorry- I know how much you were looking forward to this week.” Rachel ran her hand up and down his back soothingly, wanting to comfort him as much as she could, knowing whatever she did or said wouldn’t make the feelings go away. She just wanted to make it better. She wanted to be that person for him that made him feel okay just like he did for her.
“Hunt,” She said just as softly and just as lovingly as the petname before. “It’ll be okay-- you know, your family, they just--” She didn’t have any words to make this better, she didn’t have any excuse or reasonable reason why they would do this the day he was leaving. She hated that she was already having negative feelings towards Hunter’s parents before she even had the chance to meet them. With a heavy sigh, Rachel leaned to press a kiss against his temple as the obvious plan popped in her head automatically. “Hey, you know what? You’ll come spend the day and night at my house.” She smiled at him, rubbing his back a little more. “You can spend Thanksgiving with us-- almost my whole family will be there. I know that Hiram and LeRoy will be thrilled to have you over and to show you off to the rest of my family.” The shorter nudged him gently.
Hunter Clarington:
When Rachel wrapped her arm around him, Hunter leaned into her touch. He felt comfort in being with her and he placed his hand on her thigh, his thumb rubbing in small, imaginary circles. He knew he probably looked and sounded pathetic for complaining about his family issues but he liked that he didn’t have to worry about his image when he was with Rachel. Hearing Rachel’s reassuring and comforting words made him feel better. The way he felt when talking to his father and when talking to Rachel were like night and day; he didn’t feel wanted when it came to his parents and Rachel made him feel the exact opposite. He knew he’d made the right decision in going to her by the way she was able to lift his spirits.
“I couldn’t possibly impose, Rach,” Hunter murmured when she suggested him coming over and spending Thanksgiving with her and her family. “It’s one thing to have dinner with you and your parents but Thanksgiving is for family. I know how much that means to you.” Though he was grateful to his girlfriend for inviting him over for the holiday and the prospect of getting to spend more time with her and meeting all her relatives, he wanted to be considerate. Being there at dinner with her meant he could pose a potential distraction from her and her family members and if they were only coming over for Thanksgiving, he wasn’t going to tear her away from that limited amount of time. God knew he wished he could’ve had any time-- even extremely limited time-- with his own family. “I mean, I’d really love to spend Thanksgiving with you but--” he shook his head as he realized his emotions were about to get the better of him. He huffed out a short breath and decided to be frank. “You make me jealous.” He told her, and he knew he sounded awful for saying so but he couldn’t help himself. “You and your family make me wish--” he cut himself off again and sighed. The next time he spoke, his voice came out quieter and smaller than he had ever heard himself speak. “I wish I had your family.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel looked at Hunter as he spoke, listening to his words because she knew that he would absolutely decline at first. Hunter knew how much he meant to her-- but he really didn’t have any idea. He didn’t realize that her being in love with him and wanting to be with him forever meant that she was absolutely willing to do everything with and for him. Nodding her head as she rubbed his back, he let him speak. When he told her he was jealous, she felt a twist in her stomach, a twinge of guilt even though she had nothing to be guilty for. He heart broke into even tinier pieces when he confessed that he wished her family was his. Looking down for a moment, Rachel chewed on her lip a bit before speaking. “I’m sorry.” Was all she could really say-- she knew that an apology wasn’t what he was looking for, but she didn’t want to just say nothing to what he said.
With another soft sigh, Rachel put her finger under Hunter’s chin to make him look at her, looking at him sweetly. “Hunter,” She began, her voice gentle. “I know that you don’t have the best relationship with your parents and I know that I have a really weirdly close one with mine-- and I’m sorry that your mom and dad bailed on you. I really am, that’s absolutely horrible of them to do.” Shaking her head gently, Rachel looked right into his eyes to make sure he heard the next words that came out of her mouth. “But you, Hunt, you’re my family now. You are a part of my family.” She brushed her thumb over his jawline as she moved her hand to cup his face. “You’re family and if you miss Thanksgiving-- your new dads will absolutely be devastated.” She smiled at him sweetly, adding that last part in there to hopefully make him laugh.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter didn’t know what to say. He hadn’t expected Rachel to sympathize with him as he definitely hadn’t expected Rachel to call him family. Hearing the word made his heart melt and it was as if whatever was broken inside of him was carefully being pieced together by the wonderful girl sitting in front of him. “Family,” he parroted in a quiet voice, mostly to himself. It was difficult to wrap his mind around the fact that Rachel so easily accepted him into her family. He could already picture her fathers insisting he stay for dinner and join in on the family antics with the whole extended Berry family. Hunter raised his hand and placed it over Rachel’s on his face, leaning into her touch.
“Well, I don't want to devastate your dads,” Hunter said with a small laugh. His smile only grew when Rachel giggled at him and he closed the space between them to give her a sweet kiss. “I really appreciate you,” he told her, giving her hand a slight squeeze. “I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't been here for me. I’d probably be sulking in my room all weekend.”
Knowing that his Thanksgiving was now salvaged and he had the honor of spending it with the Berry's turned his mood around for the better. He was smiling again and he felt restored.
Rachel Berry:
A grin spread across Rachel’s face as Hunter genuinely smiled at her, it made her feel happy that she could lift his spirits so easily, she had no idea she had the power she did. Caressing his cheek gently as he kissed her, smiling against his lips. “Good.” She said softly, raising her eyebrows as she gave him a look. “Because you know how stubborn I am, you were going to come one way or another.” Rachel giggled again, nuzzling against him.
“What do you say we go on to Dalton, pack you a bag, I'll call my dads so they don't worry-- and we'll head home, okay?” She said as she smiled at him, nodding her head. Getting up from her spot on the picnic table to stand in front of him, cupping his face. “I really, really care about you, Hunt.” She said, looking into his eyes before she pressed her lips against his forehead. Taking his hands, she pulled him from the table to bring him into a tight hug.
Hunter Clarington:
“I say that that sounds like a very good idea,” Hunter agreed. When she got up from her place on the picnic table to stand in front of him, he looked up at her with the gentlest of smiles, letting her words really sink in. His forehead tingled where she'd kissed him and he let out a satisfied hum. Eagerly getting to his feet when she took hold of both his hands, Hunter opened up his arms to bring her into a great hug. She felt so small in his arms so it was wonder how he also felt like this was biggest hug he'd ever received.
“I really care about you too, Rach.” He gave her hand one more squeeze before guiding her back to his motorcycle. The long drive back to Dalton really helped to clear his head even more as he thought less about his disappointing family and more about being with Rachel and meeting all of her family members. When they arrived at Dalton and got to his room, the negative feelings creeped back from the back of his mind. His bag that he'd packed for his intended trip was still sitting in the middle of the floor and his boarding pass was still on his desk.
Rachel Berry:
Once they arrived at Hunter’s room, Rachel took a moment to send her dads a text to update them and ask them if Hunter could come over and stay- of course they agreed. As she stepped into the room, she could feel her boyfriend's mood lower back down slightly and she looked around and noted the reasons. Taking it upon herself to help him out, Rachel moved to stash the boarding pass away out of sight and take his bag, picking it up and placing it on the bed. “Now, you'll need things long enough to stay until you leave for Sectionals so it's up to you if you want to take your uniform or not.” She explained as she unpacked his bag just to re-pack it better, making sure he had everything he needed. “My dads insisted you stay as long as you need, because the couch is all yours.”
After Rachel was finished packing Hunter’s bag, she placed it by the door, going over to him with a sweet smile, taking his hands and looking up at him. “Hey,” she said with a soft voice as she looked into his eyes. “It's going to be okay. It's just a regular Thursday and you're going to spend time with me and our family and we are going to have a wonderful weekend together, okay?” She said before cupping his face and bringing him into a kiss.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter appreciated that his girlfriend was the type to take charge and call the shots because if he showed even a bit of hesitation, Rachel was right there to give him the push he needed. It was especially true in this case because as soon as she had made a move to put away his boarding pass to be forgotten, he suddenly felt better. “I'll, uh, I guess I'll bring my uniform with me so I can go straight to the competition from your place,” Hunter decided, going to his closet to pull out his completely uniform for Sectionals. Spending the rest of the week and possibly even the weekend sounded like a lot of fun even though it still made him feel like he might be imposing. When Rachel told him otherwise and reminded him that he was family now, however, Hunter relented and went right ahead with making sure he had everything he needed that he wouldn't need to come back to the empty Dalton halls or his room until after the long weekend.
After everything was packed and Rachel had approached him to hold his hands and say even more reaffirming words, Hunter nodded again in agreement. He noticed that she had called her family our family and the fact made him feel very loved. He kissed her back passionately, unable to express the level of his gratitude and emotion with words. Rachel was so wonderful and she had gone out of her way so much for him and he wasn't quite sure what he had done in life to be awarded that. When they broke away from the kiss, Hunter stared lovingly into Rachel’s deep brown eyes, where he found the sun and their surrounding autumn colors streaming in from the window complementing the meld of copper against honey in two perfect orbs that reminded him of sunset itself. He felt he was like in an enchanting fairytale where this was the part where he would fall in love with her.
Except he was already in love with her. And he wanted her to know this for a fact now rather than later.
“Rachel, I love you.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel happily melted into the way Hunter kissed her, letting herself lean against his chest, her hands resting on the taller’s chest. She hummed happily as their kiss ended and she bit her lip, looking into his eyes as he looked at her, a flutter in her stomach. The tension that seemed to follow them around everywhere they went began to build as they gazed lovingly at one another.
The words were dancing on the edge of her teeth again and she wanted to tell him. She wanted him to know that she wasn't going anywhere. She was his for as long he'd have her.
She figured, however, that this moment would end just as the previous moments did and they would go one more day without saying it. But this time Hunter didn't hold back-- he said it. He said it. Rachel's heartbeat stopped along with the entire world around them. Hunter loved her. Nothing else in the entire word mattered in that moment except for him and her and the fact that he loved her. A fire rushed up from the tip of her toes all the way to her cheeks, painting them red. She felt her eyes burning, threatening to water with tears of happiness as she left herself feel every single bit of the emotions that she was suddenly overcome with. “Hunt,” She whispered quietly, her brown eyes melting with his, pulling him closer to her. With her hands cupping his face, she brushed her thumbs over his cheeks. “I love you, too.” She said clearly before pulling him in once more to capture his lips In an extremely passionate kiss, slowly-- lovingly. All of those emotions translated through perfectly.
“I am so in love with you.”
Hunter Clarington:
Watching Rachel’s reaction after he had proudly proclaimed his love to her had Hunter laughing, his voice caught up in a warmth he hadn't recognized before. He loved that Rachel pulled out sides of him he had either cast aside or didn't even know existed. Wrapping his arms around Rachel's slender waist, he kissed her with a fervor and passion that he poured all his love for her into. “I love you,” he said again, lips against hers as he pulled her into another kiss. “I love you so much.” As if saying so the first time had opened the floodgates, Hunter found he couldn't stop confessing his feelings for the girl. He was so caught up in her and his feelings for her.
He pulled away from their intense kisses to catch his breath and he chuckled softly, eyes crinkling as he smiled. “You're my everything.” He told her. He wanted her to know that this love meant he would be with her for as long as humanly possible. He would follow her to New York and he would do everything in his power to make her happy-- to never regret her choice to be with him.
Chuckling again, just because he was just so happy, he leaned in again to capture Rachel's lips in another kiss. He leaned his forehead against hers and sighed with content. He wanted to remember this moment forever and hold it close to his heart. Nobody would ruin what he had with Rachel.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel giggled against Hunter’s lips as he laughed, kissing him back, matching his passion. Kissing him over and over again as he said the words once more then twice more. “I love you, so much.” She parroted his words as a million-pound weight was lifted from her shoulders. Her heart felt as if it was growing as she looked Hunter, the way he looked at her as if she was the most precious thing in the world to him.
She almost melted right into a puddle there on the floor when he confessed that she was his everything. No one had ever said that or anything like that to her before, she felt undeserving and yet so happy. With her heart beating fast in her chest and the butterflies multiplying tenfold, Rachel chuckled softly, her eyes stinging a little more as she was overcome with even more emotion. “Hunter, you've been everything to me since you kissed me the first time.” She whispered barely loud enough for him to hear. “Even if I didn't realize I loved you yet-- you were still all I thought about.” Rachel shook her head, sniffling softly, her fingers curling around the fabric of his shirt as if she was trying to bring him even closer. “I'd-I'd go anywhere with you, do anything for you.” Chuckling softly, the brunette smiled wide again. “I love you, Hunt.”
As soon as the words fell from her lips once more, Rachel kissed Hunter again, differently this time- deeper, sensual. She needed him closer. She was so desperately in love with the Warbler and she needed him. She needed to feel him. As close as possible.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter grinned wide when he was told he was also Rachel's everything. He loved knowing the power he had over her and how much she trusted him. He knew she had given him her everything, quite literally. It made him elated to learn that he had her falling for him as early as the first time they had kissed each other. The boost to his confidence was welcomed and he encouraged the feeling. “I love you too,” he said again, quieter this time as she drew him in for a sensual, needy kiss. With a moan as he recognized how sexually charged the kiss was, Hunter slowly guided Rachel back to his bed without their lips ever leaving each other.
When the back of his legs hit the edge of the bed, he pulled her down onto the mattress with her on top of him. “Want you,” he demanded, pulling his shirt over his head to reveal his chiseled body. “Want you right now.” He could already feel his heart beating faster in his chest.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel grinned against her boyfriend's lips as he began to lead her towards the bed, pulling her down on top of him. She moved to straddle him, helping him to rid of his shirt between kissing him, kissing him harder and more desperately every time their lips met again. Only parting again so she could rid of the clothing on her top half, leaving her in only her bra. The tiny brunette moaned against the man’s mouth as she kissed him- she felt so needy for him. Desperate. It was different than the first two times they had sex-- somehow it was different. it felt like more.
Getting up from her position, she stood up on the bed above him to rid of her shorts and tights so she was in her underwear-- kneeling down on the bed to undo his pants to help him take them off. She wanted him, she needed him. An ache in her lips let her know that it had been entirely too long since she'd kissed him last, so she took her place back on his lap, straddling him once again. “Mmm.” She moaned softly as she rolled her hips down against him, biting her lip and looking into his eyes before kissing him again.
Something was different about Rachel and the was she held herself versus the first time they'd had sex. She didn't feel or seem like the virgin who didn't know what she was doing. She knew exactly what she was doing and she knew what she wanted. “Touch me,” she breathed against his lips, taking his hands and placing them roughly on her bra covered breasts, encouraging him to squeeze them, another moan falling from her mouth.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter watched Rachel in a lust-driven daze as she undressed herself and helped him to remove his slacks. After toeing off his shoes, he was left naked with the exception of his underwear. “Fuck, Rach,” he whispered harshly under his breath as she guided his hands onto her tits. It was amazing how a couple rounds of sex had changed her demeanor when it came to the act itself. It was so fucking attractive to actually witness the girl gaining confidence to take action the more she had sex with him. Doing as he was told, he gave Rachel’s tits a firm squeeze, nibbling on his lip as he felt his cock harden under the girl’s weight.
He leaned up to undo her bra, throwing it aside before he replaced his hands where they belonged. “You're really fucking beautiful like this,” he told her, grabbing at her tits again and kneading them in his hands. “Your tits are perfect. You're perfect.” He brushed his thumbs over her nipples and felt them harden under his touch, only further turning him on. He kissed her with a neediness as he felt his erection getting painfully hard. He tried to roll his hips up against her, seeking friction. “Need you,” he mumbled against her lips.
Rachel Berry:
A soft groan escaped Rachel as Hunter grabbed her, rolling her hips down to feel the friction between their hot bodies. A gasp caught in her throat as his thumbs moved over her nipples, a shiver running through her body. The way he touched her and the way he spoke to her made her body catch fire. “You're perfect.” Her voice was low as she smiled deviously at him.
Once again taking matters into her own hands, Rachel moved to rid of their underwear and she reached into his nightstand for a condom. Biting her lip, she paused as she was knelt between his legs, eyeing his growing erection. She had been building up the courage to try something new with him and she felt confident enough in that moment with her sexually charged energy to give it a shot. She sat the condom aside, letting her teeth drag over her bottom lip, scooting closer to him. "Hey, Hunt?” She asked, wrapping her hand around the base of Hunter’s cock, holding on with just enough pressure to make it feel good for him as she slowly moved her hand up and then back down again, making eye contact with her lover. “Can...I try something?” Her devious smile found its way back to her face.
Hunter Clarington:
With Hunter completely naked, he let out a soft breath of relief with his cock now fully exposed. He licked his lips with anticipation for what was coming next as Rachel reached over to his nightstand to pull out a condom. What he didn't expect next was for her to grab ahold the base of his hard cock, sending jolts of mild pleasure up his body. It hardened in her hand and he whined softly at the feeling. He barely even registered the fact that she was speaking to him and he looked up at her and the corner of his mouth quirked when he noticed the look on her face. This wasn't the Rachel he had first met whom didn't know a single thing about sex. He was discovering a whole new Rachel all over again.
“What, babe? What do you want to try?” he asked her, his mind reeling with a dozen different things the two of them could be doing that might've been deemed “out of the norm”. He reached out to her and ran a hand up and down her side, wanting to show her he was willing to try anything that she wanted as long as she felt good while doing it. This new adventurous side to Rachel was very appealing and he liked that he was the only one who got to experience it, first-hand.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel let herself note how his bare erection felt in her hand. It was the first time she'd ever technically touched one or seen one really-- the last two times they had sex it had happened so quickly that she really didn't even pay too much attention. When Hunter answered her with his own smirk, rubbing her side, she felt encouraged and she just gave him a soft nod before taking a breath, her nerves barely showing on the outside as she wanted to seem confident in her abilities even if she wasn't. “I just...want to try something and if I do a terrible job you can stop me and guide me in the right direction, it won't hurt my feelings.” She informed him as she moved her hand slowly once more before leaving her hand around the base of his cock.
Rachel licked her lips as she positioned herself a little more comfortably between his legs before leaning down to lick a solid, decently pressured line up his shaft. Her brown eyes watched, gauging his reaction before she moved on to wrap her lips around the head of his already throbbing member. All of the information she had learned was going through her head about tongue, no teeth, sucking- but not too hard. She went slowly at first to make sure she was doing an okay job before taking more of him into her mouth, sucking him gently at first, listening for his approval to keep going.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter quirked a brow at Rachel’s vague question and he frowned only slightly, thinking to himself that there couldn't be anything Rachel could do that she would be horrible at. When Rachel moved her hand once more he let out another heavy breath, his pleasure increasing. He watched with wide eyes as Rachel shifted herself lower on the bed and realization hit him all at once what was about to happen. Before he could say anything, her tongue was pressing and laving up the length of his cock. He grit his teeth and closed his eyes as his head fell back against the pillows and groaned out a fuck yes when she wrapped her gorgeous lips around the head.
“Baby, you're doing so good,” he encouraged her, his hand reaching down and running through her hair. “You can go faster-- please.” The wet heat of her mouth sucking gently at just the tip of his throbbing cock was almost like torture; he wanted her to take more of him into her mouth. His toes curled as he felt his insides twisting up inside of him, urging to give him more.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel hummed against her boyfriend as he praised her, her stomach fluttering at the way he sounded- it was different than when they were having full-on sex and it was extremely attractive. She did as Hunter wished and she took more of him into her mouth, sucking a little harder as she began to move her head up and down faster.
As Rachel found a nice rhythm she was comfortable with and that Hunter seemed pleased with, she ran her free hand up the inside of Hunter’s thigh. Though a blow job wasn't exactly romantic per-se, her touch was loving and gentle, letting him know that she was there to take care of him. She wanted to be the one who made him feel good. She wanted to make him feel so good that this blowjob would be the one he thought about when he was alone in bed, or thinking about the best sex he ever had.
Rachel moved a little bit faster, every other time her head went down she took in a little bit more of Hunter, the hand that was crawling up his thigh settling on the bed to help her keep stable as the one around the base of his cock slid down to caress his balls gently, testing the waters. She wanted to know all of the things that drove her man crazy.
Hunter Clarington:
The thing about a blowjob-- especially one received in a plane position-- it gave the one giving all the power. Hunter was completely at Rachel’s mercy. She set the speed, the pressure, and she had all the ability to give and to take away. So when Rachel sucked more of Hunter’s length into the indescribable heat of her mouth, the man let out a soft groan. He could feel his muscles tensing and with his free hand he reached up behind him to grasp at the headboard. “Rach…” he called out to his girlfriend, screwing his eyes shut as he tried his best to hold on. He wanted the pleasure to last as long as possible before he blew his load.
Her touch was so gentle and caring and he could sense that. He huffed out a breath as he looked down at her and he met her gaze as she eagerly took him into her mouth. When she fondled his balls, a whole new sensation of pleasure shot through him and he felt the muscles in his stomach tensing. “Rach, g-gonna--” he called out to her again, this time his voice more urgent. A warning. He weighed under her, the fingers entwined in her hair tightening and gently tugging as he bucked his hips up into her mouth.
As her rhythm continued and little moans of encouragement spurred him on, it didn't take much else until Hunter was coming. Every muscle in his body tensed until he was shaking, his orgasm hitting him like a freight train. He came with a loud shout, mumbling Rachel's name as his hips bucked erratically.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel was pleased with herself for doing so well that Hunter was already close to his orgasm. At his warning, she moved quicker, moaning against him to encourage him to come. She had always planned to keep going until he had an orgasm, wanting him to love every moment of it.
Surprisingly, Rachel didn't hate this. She actually enjoyed making Hunter feel good selflessly. It turned her on to hear him groan her name, causing her to become even wetter than she already had been.
As Hunter came in Rachel's mouth she swallowed what he gave her, moving in rhythm as his hip movements, doing her best to stay as graceful and sexy as possible as she sucked him practically dry. She didn't stop until she had to because he was becoming sensitive, slowly pulling her mouth from him, looking up at him with her dark eyes, licking her lips as she straddled him again, being careful not to sit on his crotch, sitting right above it on his lower stomach. Biting her lip, she ran her hands down his chest, raising her eyebrows. “So? Was that okay?” She asked sweetly, knowing damn good and well she had done a good job.
Hunter Clarington:
As Rachel sucked him off and swallowed whatever she could, Hunter watched with lust-blown eyes. He licked his lips and whined when he began to grow flaccid and sensitive. He kept his eyes trained on her as she pulled her lips off of him and moved back to straddle him. He laughed heartily at her question and nodded. “More than okay, Rach,” he replied with a satisfied smirk, “That was amazing.” He reached up with his hand to cup the side of her face before meeting her for a tender kiss. The best part of Rachel sucking him off for the first time meant she would only get better as she became more acquainted with his body and his physical tells. “So amazing,” he murmured his praise, hands moving down to touch and squeeze her tits again. He watched her reaction as he touched her-- felt arousal stir inside of him as she moved her body against his.
It would take a little while until could go for another round but that didn’t mean he couldn’t make Rachel feel good or take care of her in the meantime. With one hand still kneading one of her tits, the other trailed down her body, touching in a way that he knew would send a chill up her spine. “... Wanna make you feel amazing, too,” his voice came out heavy and sultry, as if he was intoxicated because of Rachel. His hand eventually reached her cunt and delving two fingers between her labia, he was met with a slick wet he hadn’t been expected. “Oh, baby, so wet, just for me,” Hunter praised her again, pressing against her clit.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel couldn’t help the grin that spread across her face when Hunter told her she’d done amazing. She felt very proud of herself for having made him feel so good. Chills rose all over her body at the feeling of Hunter’s soft touch, a quiet groan crawled up and out of her throat as he kneaded her tit, a warm feeling tingling in her stomach at the sensation. She never knew how good it could feel just to be touched that way- it was arousing enough as it was, but then Hunter’s other hand slipped between their bodies and his fingers slipped against her wetness. The moment his fingers came in contact with her sensitive bundle of nerves, Rachel’s forehead wrinkled and her eyes closed as a gasp escaped her.
She was already so turned on from their heated kisses and from the way she’d made Hunter come that she was aching to be touched by him and that little touch wasn’t nearly enough for any kind of relief. “Mmm,” She bit down hard on her lip as her eyes fluttered open to look at him, her cheeks blushing red at the way he spoke to her, a grin tugging her lips. “Only for you.” She whispered, going along with his sexual speaking, the way his words wrapped around her and made her feel like she was his was a turn-on as well.
“Hunt,” Her voice was shaky as she moved against his hand slowly, needing more from him. She knew it would be a few minutes at least before he was ready to go again himself but she needed some relief at least, her hot, wet sex throbbing with need for him. The tiny brunette leaned forward to rest their foreheads together, whining softly before she kissed him-- hot and deep, moving against his fingers again. Her body trembled, so needy for him, any of him. She wanted him to completely take her-- she wanted him to touch her, wanted to feel him everywhere.
Hunter Clarington:
The way they were speaking to one another fueled how possessive Hunter felt about his girlfriend. His. When they were intimate his usual collected composure was thrown out the window and he unabashedly claimed Rachel like she was his property. He had always been a possessive person and when it came to Rachel that fact was no exception. It was arousing and pleasing to the man that the girl was so responsive to him; every little gasp or moan heard only for his ears.
Hunter used his fingers to spread apart Rachel’s pussy lips, licking his lips at the abundant wetness coming out of her. She was always so willing and ready and Hunter jumped at the opportunity to make her feel good. He shoved two fingers into her with ease, immediately feeling her clench down and around him tightly with a vice-like grip. “Just wait until I’m hard again, babe… I’ll fill you up just the way you like it,” he told her, wearing a dark and seductive expression as he slowly slipped his fingers out before roughly shoving them back in. A squelching sound resounded through the room as a result of his action and such sounds should’ve been deemed illegal. “You’ll take me so well, won’t you?” He asked her, teasingly with a tone of innocence behind his voice. He pinched her nipple as he spoke to her, wanting to push her body into overdrive as he flooded her with pleasure.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s forehead only wrinkled further as Hunter shoved his fingers into her, it felt so good to have any part of him inside of her and she clenched around him tightly as she licked her lips, moaning softly. Her mouth twitched as his deep voice wrapped around his words and sent shivers down her spine as she rolled her hips against his fingers. The words that rolled off Hunter's tongue caused her clit to throb harder with a craving for more.
The girl moaned louder as the taller pushed his fingers into her harder and pinched her. “Uh-huh.” She whimpered in response to his question, nodding her head as her eyes opened to look at him, whining his name as she tried moved some more, needing more. Her tits bounced a little with her movement before she tossed her head back, taking one of her hands and running it through her hair as she did so, letting it trail down her neck and body. “Mmm, baby,” Her words we soft and low, her voice heavy with arousal and pleasure. Hunter made her feel so fucking good that it was almost enough for her to swear out loud.
Hunter Clarington:
As Rachel moaned and called out to him, Hunter took it as a sign to go faster and harder into her, determined to make her come. Watching her run her hand through her hair, tossing it from one side to the other as she all but bounced up and down on his fingers. He loved the way she called out to him. He loved her wanton voice whining for him to give her more. His cock twitched despite his sensitivity, arousal thrumming through him as he watched Rachel fucking herself on his fingers.
Crooking his fingers at an angle he already knew she liked, he applied a strong amount of pleasure at the sweet spot that had her screaming his name. “Want you to come for me, babe-- think you can do that for me?” he asked her, watching her carefully with a devious look on his face.
Rachel Berry:
As Hunter crooked his fingers inside of her and he hit the sweet spot inside of her, his name flew out of her mouth loudly and ricocheted around the room and her body trembled. Placing her hands on his torso as she moved herself against him harder, nodding her head again in response to his question. “Y-yeah-- just for you.” Rachel whimpered as she felt herself inch closer to the edge.
It only took a few seconds of Hunter pressing against that spot inside of her roughly before her jaw dropped and she reached to grab the headboard as she clenched around his fingers again tighter. Her cheeks were red hot and her body was covered in a thin layer of sweat as she came all over his fingers, the wetness increasing tenfold as her orgasm washed through her. She rode through her orgasm in his fingers, not stopping as she came-- craving more. More, more, more.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter didn't let up one bit as Rachel grabbed onto the headboard behind him and rode out her orgasm. He furiously fingered her past her climax and continued even as her moans tapered off into little whines and whimpers. He watched as her lips parted and her face screwed together in a mix of overwhelming delight and sensitivity bordering in pain. “That's my girl,” he praised again, his fingers now coated with the wetness that seemed to flow out of her cunt. Only when Rachel seemed to be in more pain than pleasure did Hunter slow his motions and pull out. He brought his fingers up to his mouth and sucked on her spend with an illicit noise. He was hooked on her taste.
With her holding herself up a bit by the headboard, Hunter took the opportunity to reach up and latch onto one of her tits with his lips, his hands on both hips. He knew she would be very sensitive so he sucked gently, teeth grazing against her hot flesh before licking the pert nipple.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s breath came out in hot, harsh pants as Hunter continued to finger her past her orgasm, even being so sensitive it still felt good. It felt good even when it was painful, she was addicted to the feeling of being full of him. She shivered again as she watched him lick his fingers clean- it was so dirty, so hot, and she loved it.
Her chest rose and fell as she tried to catch her breath, licking her lips. She barely had a chance to come down from her orgasm when Hunter leaned forward to take her in his mouth. A low groan growled from the back of her throat as a small jolt of pleasure ran through her.
“Mmm, Hunter.” She hummed in pleasure, grinding herself down against him despite being sensitive. Her clit aching for some attention, moaning at the friction. Letting go of the headboard, she took advantage of him being lifted to tug him closer so they were in a sitting position so she could give her arms a rest from holding herself up. Now that she was sitting in his lap she could feel that he was already starting to get hard again, grinning to herself as she felt so good in that moment, wrapping her arms around his neck and tangling her hands in his hair.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter's lips popped off of Rachel's tit when she ground down against him, the action causing his cock to twitch and harden with interest. “Fuck, Rach,” he murmured to her as he licked her tit before going right back to sucking. He rounded his arms around her frame as she sat in his lap and he could feel her body burning up. He looked up at her and noticed the sweat beaded along her brow and it made him aware that he felt hot too. He looked up with his steely grey eyes and watched the girl’s reaction with every movement of his lips. With such close proximity from the way they were positioned, Hunter could feel Rachel’s fast heartbeat pounding against the inside of her chest.
He moved his hips up as much as he could despite their sitting position and felt her wet sex push down against his hardening cock and knew he was well on his way to an erection to go for round two. He licked his lips as he reared back from Rachel’s supple tits, pressing messy to her neck and jawline and wherever else he could reach. “Wanna be inside of you,” he told her, pressing his hardening cock against her with more force. He reached blindly for the condom Rachel had left on the bed, ripping it open so he could slide it onto himself.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel let out a shudder of a breath as Hunter trailed kisses along her body, leaving a raging fire underneath her skin. When he said those words to her she was absolutely more than ready for him. As Hunter reached for the condom, Rachel moved back to sit between his legs so he could easily slip it on. While she waited for him, she laid back against the bed, propping herself up on her elbows.
She gave him a once over with her lust-filled eyes, licking her lips, spreading her legs in front of him. She was dripping wet and extremely desperate for him. Rachel whined softly, her forehead wrinkling, running one of her hands down her body. “Need you, Hunt.” Her voice was soft, desperate.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter made quick work of slipping the condom to his now-hard-again erection. When he looked back up at Rachel, she was lying back and he followed her toward the foot of the bed. He had a full, uncensored view of her wet cunt, flushed red and practically begging to be stuffed. When she trailed her hand down her body and whispered that she needed him, he swore he could feel his blood rushing to his cock.
“Need me bad, don't you?” he cooed, pressing a kiss to her lips as he lowered himself until his body was pressing against hers. His hardened member dug into her thigh before he grabbed ahold its base and guided it to Rachel’s entrance. Its blunt tip rested there against her wet and waiting cunt. He teased her a bit as he pressed it there, feeling her clench and open with anticipation for him to stuff her full. He took her hand into his free one, fingers laced and gripping tightly before plunging deep into her with one strong thrust. The surrounding pressure and wet heat was so much to experience at once that he cursed with a harsh breath, stilling once he was balls-deep inside of Rachel.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel just whined in response to his question, returning his kiss as she hooked her legs on hips, slipping her arms around him to pull him closer. “Please,” She begged as she could feel his erection against her leg, she was practically writhing for him by this point. “Baby, please.” She left one of her arms tight around him as he took her other hand. Squeezing his hand tightly as he thrust into her, Rachel clung to him tight and took in a sharp gasp against his ear as he filled her up to the brim.
A low growl - a noise she had never heard herself make before - rumbled out of her mouth as she clenched around him. These moments where they became one was always overwhelming for her and she still wasn't used to it, a wave emotion rolled through her as well as the absolute pleasure that came with him being inside of her. Having sex with Hunter meant much more to her than she ever expected it to- she never knew sex could actually mean something more than just the urge to get off. She knew that saving herself for someone special would make it that much more enjoyable- but it was much more and much better than she had imagined.
Moving herself against him, urging him to move, Rachel let out a harsh breath, whimpering. “Hunter- Hunter, feels so good.” She laid back to look up at him, her forehead wrinkled as she bit her lip. “I love you, I love you so much.” Rachel whispered before leaning up to kiss Hunter again, passionately.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter kissed Rachel feverishly, every tiny movement amplified with him buried inside of her. Her moving had him rolling his hips down into her, meeting her and deepening each slow thrust. He could feel her open up a little more each time to accommodate his hefty size. “Ugh, fuck, I love you so fucking much,” he growled under his breath as he focused on the rhythm of his movements. Too erratic and he would come too quickly-- too slow and that would be torture for them both. “Love you so much, Rach,” he repeated. He looked down and kept eye contact with her as he repeatedly thrust up inside of her. With just a thin layer of plastic separating them, Hunter never felt so connected to another human being in his life. Never had he ever had sex with someone and it be this intimate. For Hunter, before he'd met Rachel sex had just been sex. It was no big deal. But ever since their first time together, every single time had meant a great deal to him. He knew it meant a great deal to Rachel as well.
“I'm sorry, baby, I'm already so close,” he apologized between panting breaths of air. She just felt too good that it was difficult for him to hold on-- especially after having already come once before not that long ago. With his free hand he reached down to touch Rachel's clit again, hoping doing so would push her towards climax even faster. “Need to come.”
Rachel Berry:
Every sensation she was feeling escalated when Hunter told her he loved her, every thrust, every moment felt so much more intense. When he freed her hand to touch her clit, Rachel groaned loudly, her body shaking with pleasure as he coaxed her towards her orgasm. Knowing that it had been so good for him that he was already so close to his own climax spurred her on even more.
She knew she could come for him at any moment, too, especially by the way he touched her clit. “Harder,” she demanded, her voice wrapped in a desperate sound. She knew that if he went harder it would only be a matter of a few thrusts mixed with the way he furiously rubbed at the wet bundle of nerves before she was screaming his name and clenching around his throbbing erection with an orgasm even more intense than the previous one. Her skin was flushed red all over her body and she was burning up to the touch, her lips parted as harsh pants and pathetic whines and whimpers fell out of her mouth.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter loved the way Rachel talked to him in bed. She knew exactly what she wanted and while it was hot when she begged for him, it turned him on so well when she told him what to do in such a demanding tone. With a smirk, he rubbed at her clit even harder and his movements grew erratic as he thrust into her in earnest. Pounding into her, he watched her tits jiggle up and down with each movement, her chest rising and falling with each shallow breath of air, and those gorgeous dick-sucking lips of hers parted in such a way that she looked so fucking erotic and beautiful all at once. “Mine, mine, mine, mine!” he chanted like a mantra, getting louder and louder the faster and harder he thrust into her.
He could feel his muscles tensing and his muscles rippled as he passed the point of no return. With a loud shout of Rachel's name, Hunter was emptying his load. His second orgasm was even stronger than the first as he threw his head back and when he closed his eyes, he saw stars. He didn't stop as he came into her, thrusting even beyond his limits as it was becoming sensitive.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel's entire body was engulfed in flames as Hunter fucked her harder and faster, letting her and the entirety of Dalton Academy know that she was his. As his orgasm hit and she came all around him she clung to him tighter, digging her nails into his skin, leaving her mark on his back as he continued to thrust into her as they rode their orgasms. Everything was so hot and wet and intense she almost felt lightheaded as she continued to feel waves of her orgasm wash over her.
Biting her lip hard enough to draw blood, Rachel tightened her hold on him to press her body up against his, her tiny frame shaking hard as her orgasm overwhelmed her, keeping her hips pressed up to keep him in her as deep as possible. “Fuck,” she whined under her breath, her subconscious blushing for her at her use of the profanity because Rachel Berry wouldn't be caught dead using that kind of language-- the rest of her mind not caring in the moment. Everything just felt so good and she was so desperately in love with the man she was wrapped around and there was no other word in the moment to describe what she was feeling.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter released his hand on Rachel's sex as he moved to grip her legs as he rode out his orgasm, his thrusts soon slowing as she clung onto him. He had become soft but was still inside of her, her cunt still squeezing around him as she came down from her own orgasm. With both hands placed firmly on the bed to hold himself above her, he hissed at the delicious pain from Rachel’s nails raking up and along his back. He could tell from the way it burned that it would surely leave marks for the next few days at least and everyone on the swim team would see those scratches. The fact would make him grin later with pride.
When Rachel swore with tired breath, Hunter chuckled softly. He loved that he had single-handedly turned the otherwise innocent girl into a horny, cursing, sexy woman. “Fuck is right,” he parroted as he slipped his cock out of her and plopped himself down next to her on the bed. He was breathing heavily and the bed sheets felt good against his sweaty body. He turned his head to look at his lover, a satisfied grin on his face. “That was so fucking good,” he said, lacking much else in his current vocabulary to describe how he felt.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel whined as Hunter pulled out of her, feeling entirely too empty as she panted in attempt to catch her breath as she looked over at Hunter, a grin spreading across her face, giggling softly and covering her face with her hands. She almost couldn't believe her situation- this was the third time she’d had sex with her boyfriend and she just let the biggest of profanities escape her. She took a deep shaky breath as she was slowly coming down from her orgasm high, her head spinning a little bit. “I’ve never said that word before,” She giggled, amused by herself.
She liked that Hunter brought out a different side of her that no one had ever seen before-- one she knew existed but never showed to anyone. She had never felt comfortable enough to show it to anyone before until he came along. Rubbing her face gently, she moved her hands to look at him again, shaking her head. “Hey,” she bit her lip, a look of pure happiness and love on her face. “I’m in love with you.” She repeated their earlier confession just to be sure he knew she meant it-- even though she was certain that her lying there completely naked in his bed was a good indication that she trusted him with everything and she was absolutely head over heels for him.
Hunter Clarington:
“I know; it’s hot when you swear like a sailor,” Hunter teased her, grinning at her. He disposed of the condom and used his bed sheets to wipe away whatever mess was left behind from their orgasms before settling back down on the bed next to his girlfriend. When she called out to him, he raised his eyebrows and he perked up to listen. Her earlier confession still held just as much effect as it did the first time she’d said it the night they were together in her room, except now Rachel was sober and Hunter could fully enjoy her words for all they were worth. At the same time, Hunter could unabashedly say the same words back and know for a fact Rachel would remember it today and every day to come. “I’m in love with you, too,” he repeated her words to her, smiling from ear to ear as he confessed his true feelings to her once more.
He draped an arm around her midsection and pulled her flush against his body before pressing a firm kiss to her lips, humming out a delighted noise. He was wholly in love with the his girlfriend and it although not unwelcome in the least bit, it had certainly been unexpected considering the way their relationship had started. “I’m glad you’re mines.” He propped his head up against his arm, gazing into Rachel’s eyes. “And only mines.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel smiled lovingly at Hunter as he reciprocated her feelings, giggling as he pulled her closer to him so they could share another kiss. She couldn’t stop smiling even as he kissed her, chuckling against his lips. She was so unbelievably happy in that moment. “Mmm,” she hummed against his lips before kissing him again, and again, and again. “I’m glad I’m yours, too.” She said softly, looking up into his eyes. “I’m really glad you’re mine, too. I really love that I’m the one who gets to know you the way that I do. I-I know that you don’t really let anyone in like you’ve let me in.”
Giving a little shrug, Rachel let herself get in her feelings, not feeling at all bashful about the way that she felt or the fact that her naked body was pressed against his in a non-sexual manner. Normally she would be a bit self conscious by now about being naked in front of him, but each time she was feeling more and more comfortable with him and she didn’t mind at all. “I just want you to know that I know how lucky I am to know you the way that I do-- and I don’t take it for granted.” Her voice was gentle as she spoke to him, placing her hand on his cheek to caress it.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter was aware he didn’t exactly open up so easily about himself when it came to other people. So far, Rachel had been the exception and he had slowly revealed sides to him that he hadn’t to others. Even though he couldn’t explain why, he just felt safe enough when he was with her that he could let his usual walls down. It meant a lot to him that Rachel understood that and that she was grateful. It made Hunter feel appreciated and it filled his heart to the brim. Only Rachel did that for him.
Humming and kissing back every single time Rachel came in for a kiss, Hunter chuckled softly. “You always say the sweetest things to me,” Hunter murmured, unsure how else to really and truly express his gratitude. He wasn’t quite used to having someone love him so much and to be so verbal about it. He leaned forward until his forehead was resting against hers, looking straight into her eyes. “But I’m sorry to say that I’m the lucky one here, Rach.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel let out a long, happy sigh before nuzzling her nose against his. “I say sweet things to you because I care about you a lot and you deserve to know that. You deserve to know how highly I think of you and how much you mean to me.” She shook her head gently. “Not everyone gets to know me this well, either, you know.” She pointed out, sliding her hand down his neck and chest to wrap her arm around his waist, pulling him closer. “Everyone sees me as this well put together control freak. I mean, I’m a perfectionist and I’m driven. But everyone sees the me I want them to see and I’ve never wanted anyone to see the real me before.”
The brunette spoke honestly to her boyfriend, letting him in a little more than he already was. It meant a lot for her to be like this with him, to be naked both literally and figuratively. “No one’s cared enough to look past my better than you demeanor to really get to know me.” Her mouth quirked a little as she slowly ran her hand up and down his back. “No one’s ever gotten me before. Not like you.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter listened to Rachel with genuine interest, soaking up each word like a sponge. He recognized that she trusted him as much as he did with her and he treasured that dearly. He was very aware that Rachel had her own secrets that she didn’t just tell anyone and that he had also seen sides of her that were rarely, if ever, exposed. Although he knew that very much like himself, her bravado was just a show-- a front to protect herself from getting hurt. “I really care about you a lot so I’m grateful you let me get to know you. In all sorts of different ways.” He gave Rachel a seductive look then, before raising his eyebrows and letting out a playful laugh. “I feel like you know me so well. And that I know you so well, too.”
The man pressed another gentle kiss to her lips, lingering closeby even as their kiss came to an end, their noses nuzzling against one another. The action was cute and silly but intimate and it made Hunter feel very loved. He liked that he could be so close to someone and feel so at ease and natural. He loved that it was Rachel of all people who was that person for him.
After a few moments of quiet and murmuring words of affection with one another, the two eventually made their way out of bed knowing that they were due back at Rachel’s house to finish preparing for a Thanksgiving feast the next day. “I promise I’ll help out as much as I can with Thanksgiving dinner,” Hunter told the girl, wanting to also show his gratitude to her fathers for allowing him to stay for the long weekend.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel couldn’t help but giggle at Hunter’s suggestive look and eyebrow raise, catching his innuendo and pushing at him playfully before kissing him back, her nose crinkling as they nuzzled together. She felt extremely loved in that moment and she just wanted to relish in it forever. She felt intoxicated by Hunter and their closeness and she drunkenly whispered her affection to him until they finally decided to get going before her dads began to worry. Rachel giggled at his offer, shaking her head as she slipped her underwear and bra back on. “Good luck with that-- I had to sneak in help when I was alone today or else they wouldn’t let me.” She shook her head, putting the rest of her clothes back on. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed- but I’m a bit of a control freak. I got it from both of them.” She laughed, running her fingers through her hair a little.
Rachel offered to take Hunter’s bag once she slipper his leather jacket back on, knowing traveling on a motorcycle with a duffle bag is probably challenging. Slipping the strap over her shoulder, she was ready to head back to Lima, but not before stealing a few more kisses from the man she loved.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter laughed when Rachel told him that it was very possible he wouldn’t even be allowed into the kitchen to help with Thanksgiving. He supposed he should’ve known better from the way the Berry’s had laid out such an exquisite meal the last time he had come over for dinner that Thanksgiving would be even bigger and better. “Well maybe I’ll just help set the table and clean up,” Hunter suggested as they both got dressed and make sure they were both presentable. It was a little obvious from their messy hair that they just had sex but the drive back to Lima would be a believable cover if her parents asked any questions.
The ride back home was enjoyable and somehow Hunter felt warmer than he usually did with Rachel clinging onto him from behind even though the chilly air whipping around them had grown colder with the changing seasons. Maybe it was because they’d just had sex or maybe it was because they both laid their feelings for each other out in the open. The warmth he felt throughout his body was a stark difference to how he felt earlier in the day when he thought he’d be spending the holiday alone.
When they arrived back at Rachel’s house, her fathers were home and greeted him with bright smiles. Hunter found a similar warmth among Rachel’s family-- a welcome feeling that he hadn’t found anywhere else, not even among his peers at Dalton or the Warblers.
“Hey, motorcycle boy, you’re always welcome at the Berry house,” Hiram assured the young man after giving him a hug. “But where are my flowers? You always bring me flowers when you come over.” While Hunter laughed with amusement, LeRoy gave his husband a pointed look. “Okay, okay, we’ll let it slide this time since this is unexpected.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel felt happier than she had in a long time - if ever - when she walked into her home with Hunter on her arm. She couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she watched her boyfriend and fathers interact. Rachel left to stash Hunter’s bag upstairs in her bedroom before joining the family again-- they had arrived just in time to greet her grandparents as the came in the house. Rachel’s relatives slowly started to show up and fill up the Berry household and soon all of the family were there. Two sets of grandparents, Hiram’s sister and her wife, LeRoy’s brother and wife, and three cousins below the age of ten. Rachel happily introduced Hunter to everyone and they all seemed happy to meet him with the exception of one of Rachel’s grandfathers which gave him a once over and made it clear that he was watching him-- breaking his granddaughter’s heart was a death sentence. Rachel’s grandmother assured the Warbler that her husband was harmless and not to worry all while pinching his cheek.
Throughout the evening, it became clear that Hiram wasn’t the only one in the family who liked to test the limits on how uncomfortable they could make the young couple, but by the end of the night, everything was seemingly comfortable and she couldn’t have felt happier.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter was all smiles as he met all of Rachel’s relatives, putting on his best charming smile. He did his best to commit everyone’s names to memories and being the only new face in a crowd of Berry’s, Hunter was the center of attention for a bit. Rachel’s family was eager to meet and get to know her new boyfriend, complimenting him on how good-looking he was and insisting to him that he was lucky for finding a girl like Rachel. Hunter of course wholeheartedly agreed, expressing that he really did think Rachel was a very special girl. He was determined to make Rachel’s grandfather like him, giving him a firm handshake and promising to never hurt the girl. After meeting everyone, his cheek hurt-- partially from smiling so much and partially from Rachel’s grandmother.
If Hunter thought being in the same room with only one set of Berry parents was exhausting yet hilarious, he clearly had no idea what he was in for with Rachel’s entire extended family vying for his attention and attempting to embarrass him. Hunter laughed off any joke made at his expense, knowing that the girl’s family never meant any harm or ill. That feeling he got whenever he was together with Rachel’s parents grew tenfold with the rest of her family, feeling surrounded by happiness and bliss-- especially with Rachel there right beside him.
Rachel Berry:
As the night came to a close and the Berry family slowly trickled off to their respective sleeping places after saying their final goodnights to everyone else and eventually Hunter and Rachel found themselves alone in the living room again. The fireplace crackled as she cuddled up next to him, nuzzling her face against his neck, taking a moment for a sigh of relief. It had been a really fun night, but absolutely exhausting. Rachel yawned before pressing her lips against Hunter’s soft neck. “Mmm. So, that was my family.” She giggled softly, slipping her arm around him as she yawned again, barely able to even keep her eyes open. “They loved you-- even my grandfather.” Raising her eyebrows she thought of something to tell him that might even make the day better-- make him feel even better. “You know something? You’re the first guy who’s ever met my whole family.” She said, lifting her head to place it on his shoulder, looking at him lovingly even though she was clearly sleepy.
“I’ve never cared enough about anyone to want them to meet my family.” She continued, nuzzling against his neck once more before mumbling against it. “I’m so in love with you, Hunter Clarington.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter bid everyone a good night, politely expressing how nice it was to meet everyone and how much he was looking forward to spend more time with them over a Thanksgiving feast. He let out a contented sigh when he plopped down on the couch with Rachel. Meeting her family had been a lot of fun but it also made him appreciate the moments he had alone with his girlfriend. He yawned along with her, also feeling significantly more tired now that the day was coming to an end. The crackling of the wood burning in the fireplace could be heard and Hunter felt so at home here in Rachel’s home-- in her arms. It made him and his heart so happy when Rachel revealed that she had never shared another boyfriend with her entire family before.
“I had a lot of fun meeting them and getting to know them; I want to know everything about you-- including them.” Hunter expressed, letting himself open up more and more to the prospect of being included with Rachel’s family. He wanted to be known to her family as the guy that made her happy and that every time they saw her, they would ask about him too. He thought back to what Hiram had said about the two of them in the future, having a silly hashtag so that everyone would know they were together. Hunter wanted everyone to know he and Rachel belonged together.
“I’m very much in love with you too, Rachel Berry.” He chuckled softly as he confessed his love for her, pressing a soft kiss to her lips as an unspoken promise that he would never do anything to break her heart and that he would love her for as long as she would have him.

Hunter Clarington:
Hunter made a beeline to his dorm room right when his last class let out. He was in a rush to change his clothes, throwing his Dalton uniform on the bed before changing into a pair of dark jeans, black boots, and his favorite leather jacket over a long-sleeve shirt. With a smile on his face and a skip to his step, he was looking forward to driving all the way to Lima to pick Rachel up. He timed it just right in his head and knew if he had rushed to leave, he could make it to McKinley High School just as Rachel’s glee club would be over. He made sure he had everything he needed to go pick her up and soon he was blazing out of the Dalton parking lot and onto the long road ahead.
The drive was uneventful as Hunter looked forward to seeing the girl, laughing to himself as he pictured the surprised faces of her friends and classmates. He rolled up to McKinley High School, checking the time on his phone to see that he was right on schedule. Already he could see students giving him looks-- either checking him out or sizing him up, but Hunter didn’t care about these peasants. With the engine cut and helmet now tucked under his arm, the Dalton boy strolled through the halls in search of the glee club room. After asking some random student to point out the way, he found it. He peeked into the room and smiled when Rachel came into view. She was standing in front of her peers, singing a song that Hunter knew he’d heard before but he couldn’t put his finger on it. Listening to her voice ring out beautifully, Hunter couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride, for some reason. After she’d finished singing, it looked like the teacher was just wrapping up whatever he was talking about and the glee club members were already gathering their things and getting ready to leave. Hunter waited right there by the door, ready to greet her.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel had been waiting rather impatiently for Friday to arrive, eager to spend more alone time with Hunter. It was like she was addicted to him and the way he made her feel. He made her feel wanted and beautiful-- not a lot of people ever made her feel that way. And no one had ever made her feel quite the same as Hunter did. Waking up on Friday was like waking up on Christmas morning and she chose her outfit very carefully that day, not wanting to have to rush home after school to change - she realized that if she was going to be frequenting the back of her guy’s motorcycle, she was going to have to invest in more articles of clothing that didn't involve a skirt. Three pairs of shorts wasn't cutting it. She settled for a pair of black, high-waisted shorts, maroon tights, and a cream colored sweater, her dark hair straightened and down.
She could barely focus in school all day long, going over every moment she’d spoken to Hunter or spend time with him. She felt like she did the first time she’d ever had a crush on someone, only tenfold. It was intense and she was obsessed. It had even leaked over into glee, as she was starting to sing songs the related to her and Hunter, songs she'd never even heard before. That day at glee rehearsal, she sang Dirty Laundry by a band she'd just discovered when scouring the internet for songs that portrayed her feelings. The moment she heard it she couldn't help but think of Hunter- and she liked knowing that only a few people in glee club knew exactly who she was singing to.
When glee was finally over and she gathered her things, she said goodbye to her friends and walked with purpose out for the room, practically power-walking. She stopped in her tracks, though, when she saw her handsome suitor waiting for her. The brunette’s face lit up when she saw Hunter, glancing around. “Hunt?” She grinned at him, holding her things tightly in her arms, doing her best to not seem overly excited. She wanted to portray the right amount of excited as to not scare him away. “What a nice surprise.” She bit her lip to resist the urge to kiss him, not knowing if they were there yet. She gave him a once over, shaking her head. “I've never had such a dangerous-looking fella pick me up from school before.” She teased him. She felt nervous and relaxed all at the same time. He made her so nervous- in the good way- and yet she felt so comfortable with him, it was a weird feeling that her and the butterflies hadn't quite gotten used to yet.
Hunter Clarington:
When the glee kids began exiting the room, some of them noticed and even recognized him. Hunter handed out a few hellos to the people he knew and those that didn’t stared him down as they walked down the halls. He wondered which one of the guys coming out of the room was Rachel’s ex-boyfriend but before he could say or do anything, the girl he’d come to see came marching out of the room and stopped in her tracks to greet him. “Hey, babe,” Hunter stood up straight from leaning against the wall, flashing her his signature charming smile. He quickly gave her a once-over and maybe mentally undressed her before he moved in to wrap an arm around her waist to bring her into a firm, possessive kiss. He made sure everyone in the halls who were watching could see; he was very obviously marking and claiming his territory. When he broke away from the kiss, he kept well within her personal space and didn’t care that people were staring at them both-- in fact, he wanted people to see them. “Thought I’d come surprise you here for everyone to see what kind of danger you get yourself into. You ready for our date?” He asked, shrugging off his jacket to give to her. “I brought my bike.”
He offered to hold Rachel’s things for her while she put on his jacket, grinning to himself that she looked so good in his jacket. As they started to make their way down the hall, his arm draped around her, he noticed one of the guys that’d come out of the glee club had been glaring daggers at him from afar. Coming here to pick Rachel up had so far been an excellent choice. “Do you need to stop off at your place first or do you want to just get out of here? I have a place in mind I want to take you before we go to Dalton.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel was pleasantly surprised by the affectionate pet name and the way that Hunter pulled her into a kiss. All of it overwhelmed her briefly and she melted into the taller’s embrace, humming against his lips as she kissed him back. Her cheeks flushed red as they kissed, feeling the eyes of her classmates and her ex-boyfriend. She liked it, though. She liked that Hunter was into her enough to make it a point to come pick her up from school and show their relationship off-- even if it wasn't official yet.
She happily let Hunter hold her things as she slipped his jacket on over her outfit-- there were those butterflies again. She loved how warm she felt in his jacket-- feeling like she was his was something she really loved. The grin never left her face as they walked down the hall together, she could only imagine how great they looked-- her wearing his jacket, him so much taller than she. It was probably a sight she’d be jealous of if she wasn’t a part of it. Leaning into him as they walked, she shook her head. “Nah, I wanna get out of here with you.” She assured him, smiling up at him. “I just need to drop this stuff off at my locker-- Kurt will take it home for me so I don’t have to haul it to Westerville.” She said as they made their way towards her locker, stopping to put her things away and grab her purse. She locked up her things and got closer to the taller again, slipping her arm around his waist so they could walk out together-- she’d be lying if she said she didn’t love the looks they got from others.
She could still feel people’s eyes on them as they left and made their way to his bike, taking her helmet and placing it on her head. “Y’know if I’m going to be frequenting the back of your bike so often-- I should get my own, personalized helmet.” She chuckled, looking up at him. “Where are you taking me today, handsome?”
Hunter Clarington:
With his jacket on Rachel and the two of them walking down the halls together, Hunter felt like a rockstar. He wished that he could do the same thing over at Dalton but private school was just a little different than McKinley. Public school kids were all about individuality and doing their best to stick out and right now, he knew that they would be the talk of the school after this. Hunter walked Rachel over to her locker and got a peek inside, noticing the glittery stars inside and chuckling to himself at her cuteness.
When they got outside, there were still students staring and many even looked confused. Maybe no one expected a goody-goody like Miss Rachel Berry to be dating a so-called “bad boy"? When the both of them strapped their helmets on, Hunter thought about Rachel’s little joke. He imagined her wearing a bright pink helmet, bedazzled with a gold star. The image made him chuckle. “I think getting you a customized helmet could be arranged,” he told her as he mounted his bike and waited for her to do the same before he started up the engine. “First things first, we're getting something to eat-- I'm starving.” As he revved the engine loudly, it roaring and echoing throughout the parking lot, many students and even faculty took notice and watched the couple leave the premises.
Hunter already had the entire evening planned out in his head. On their first date, she'd gotten just a glimpse when they'd gone to stargaze. Today was going to be about showing Rachel more of his world. More of the real Hunter Clarington. But first, food. Their first stop was a nice little vegan diner where they could grab a quick bite to eat. He remembered from their first date that the girl had mentioned she was a vegetarian and wanted to take her someplace where she could choose from a full menu. The drive didn’t take more than a half-hour even when he took the scenic route. When they pulled up and dismounted the bike, Hunter made sure to keep close to Rachel, a protective arm around her frame.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel chuckled when Hunter agreed to a personalized helmet. “Great, I would like a nice sized, golden, sparkly ‘R’ right on the back.” She requested with a nose crinkle as she took her spot on his motorcycle and they took off out of McKinley High’s parking lot. She held onto him tightly as they drove out of town. She lived in the moment and relished in the feeling of the bike rumbling beneath them, her chest pressed tightly against his back as she tightened her arms around him. With a smile on her face, she leaned her cheek against his back, humming happily as she watched the beautiful view pass them by. She hadn’t felt this happy in a long time-- if ever.
As Hunter came to a stop in front of a dining establishment she’d never been to before, she got off the bike with him, leaning into him as he wrapped his arm around her-- she liked how he always wanted her close. It certainly wasn’t a bad thing. As they got closer to the diner and she saw the name, she realized she recognized it as one of the few vegan places in the area- one she’d wanted to try for a while. A silly grin pulled at the corners of her mouth as she looked up at him. He remembered she was a vegetarian. The butterflies in her stomach flitted around excitedly as they made their way into the diner. “You remembered,” was all she said, wanting him to know that it touched her, she saw it-- she saw him being sweet and thoughtful and she appreciated it. It was the first time someone she had dated had really listened to her. She felt heard and it was impressive considering her being a vegetarian was something she had just briefly mentioned in the middle of their date. It was just another thing that made him Hunter- another thing that made her feel that much more for him. Another reason she needed to be careful before she fell in too deep.
Hunter Clarington:
“Well, yeah,” was all Hunter replied when Rachel voiced her appreciation for him remembering about her dietary habits. He looked at her like remembering such a fact should’ve come naturally to anyone who’d been on a date with her. “You mentioned it so of course I’d remember.” Hunter didn’t think he’d really put much thought into it; he just knew if he’d been a vegetarian, he’d might want to eat someplace where there were more than only a few things he could choose from. The diner was a casual setting-- much different from their first date where they sat down in a classy little restaurant. He made it a point to mention that they couldn’t linger for very long at the diner; they were there only to eat because Hunter had their next destination in mind like a target in his crosshairs. “I hate to rush us but we have to get there before six tonight,” he apologized, checking the time on his phone as he quickly finished his food. He looked apologetic because he was probably ruining the mood but he wanted to make this date worth it and it wouldn’t be if they were even a little bit late.
“I promise it’ll be great,” he assured her when they eventually got back onto the road after eating. “I discovered this place when I was driving one day after-school and I wanted to show you. I thought about how much you liked it that night we went to the park and that you might like this too.” Hunter was purposefully being vague, not wanting to reveal exactly where they were going.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel knew that it was probably a silly thing to feel so thankful for, but when it came to her diet and her beliefs, no one but her family ever really seemed to care that much. She felt so happy throughout their dinner that she didn’t even mind that they were kind of in a rush, just excited to do whatever it was Hunter had in store for them. She didn’t mind that he hurried them through dinner-- finding it sweet that he had someplace specific in mind to take her, appreciating the thought he’d put into this date yet again.
After they finished dinner and she thanked him for paying, they hopped on his motorcycle again and took off. She enjoyed more of the scenery around them as they winded through the Ohio backroads, smiling to herself as she held onto him tight. She was thinking of the night ahead and where they would end up-- she was questioning herself and what she wanted. Rachel wanted Hunter and she wanted him bad. With every moment they spent together the want became more of a need. She’d been at war with herself ever since Sebastian’s Halloween party-- does she give in to what she wants? Or does she keep a promise to herself that she’s tried so hard to keep through her teenage years?
It was an ongoing thing in her mind and it was exhausting her.
Having zoned out a little bit, Rachel was surprised when they came to a stop. Looking around to to see where they were, she didn’t recognize where they were at all, chuckling softly as she got off the bike, taking the helmet off and running her fingers through her hair. “I’m confused,” She shook her head. “Where are we?”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter grinned to himself as they zoomed through the backroads and soon they’d made their way out of Lima. It was mostly farmland as far as the eye could see and that was to be expected since they were in Ohio, after all. Because he couldn’t see Rachel’s facial expression, he hoped that she was enjoying the ride as much as he. From the way she held onto him as they drove down the roads, he could only assume she was loving every moment of it. When they got closer to their destination, Hunter slowed down and looked toward the western horizon. When he saw that they still had a bit of time before sunset, he was satisfied.
He stopped at the side of the road, seemingly nothing in sight besides the wide span of farmland and well… more farmland. “I promise you’ll like it,” he told Rachel when he took his helmet off and dug into his bike’s side compartment to produce a modest-sized blanket. Taking her hand into his own, interlacing their fingers as he led them up a hill. Sat atop the hill was a large oak tree, its autumn colors just beginning to appear through its green leaves. He spread the blanket under the tree and pointed out towards the horizon. “Ohio is like Hicksville, U.S.A, but it’s got some really gorgeous sunsets if you know where to look.” He smiled at Rachel then as he gestured for her to take a seat. When they were both seated next to each other, he grinned at her again. “Not nearly as gorgeous as you, though.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel smiled to herself as Hunter took her hand in his, biting her lip. She liked that he was the one to initiate hand-holding. It meant something to her and it was just one of the many small things he did that made her fall a little harder towards falling for him for real. Another one of those things was the fact that he brought her to watch the sunset. She didn’t know if he was truly trying hard to make her fall for him or if he was just that good. Not needing any convincing, she happily took a seat next to him on the blanket. She looked at him as he complimented her, a light blushing painting her cheeks to match the colors that the sky was turning. “Hunter, I-” She shook her head, giggling softly as she wrapped her arm around his, scooting closer.
The brunette leaned her head against his shoulder as she took in the view, the way the orange sky barely lit the farmland below, the cows and horses grazing in the twilight before making their way to their stables and barns to sleep. Her grin grew as she took a deep breath of the autumn air. “I don’t even know what to say.” She lifter her head to rest her chin on his shoulder, looking at him. “This is probably the most romantic thing anyone’s ever done for me.” Rachel said honestly, looking at him fondly, giggling. “You’re scoring major charm points here.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter knew exactly what he was doing to Rachel and knew that all he had to do was lay down the charm and she was like putty in his hands. It was a huge boost to his ego every single time he managed to make her speechless or paint a blush across her cheeks. When Rachel mentioned him scoring charm points, he busted out laughing. Everytime she made him laugh, it made him that much happier. His chest felt fit to bursting with a pure happiness every moment he spent in Rachel’s very presence. “Well, I’m glad you like it. I mean, I knew you would but still,” he chuckled, turning his head to smile at her. He brought his arm around her and pulled him closer against his body, holding himself up with his free arm.
The sky grew a bolder and brighter orange as the sun continued its descent, and Hunter sighed contentedly. In that moment it felt like no one else existed but the two of them. He was reminded of the way he felt on their first date-- reminded of the way that Rachel always seemed to make him feel. They watched as the sky evolved through an array of different colors as sunset slowly became twilight. It made him think about how his little “thing” with Rachel had evolved from a little flirtation and one silly kiss into something much more meaningful. Rachel meant a great deal to him.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel loved the way it felt when Hunter pulled her closer, she liked that it felt like they could never be close enough when they were together. She leaned into him as they watched the sky, sighing happily as she thought of the guy next to her, barely paying attention to the sunset anymore as the glowing orb sunk lower behind the earth. After a few moments of silence, she looked at him again, her eyelashes fanning down across her cheeks as she glanced down, shaking her head. There were a lot of things running through her mind but nothing that she could express in a proper sentence. So she forgot the words and she leaned up to where their faces were on the same level.
At first she only pressed her lips against his for a gentle kiss, one of pure sweetness. But then she kissed him again and she kissed him in a slower manner, using the kiss to relay the things she was feeling as her lips moved almost agonizingly slow, moving closer to him as her forehead wrinkled. That usual spark that came with kissing Hunter ignited a fire in her stomach, burning a bit hotter this particular time. The kiss was slow and hot, her feelings for him very evident from how gentle it was despite the intensity.
Hunter Clarington:
When sunset was over and the sky grew darker as the stars started to peek out, Hunter turned to look at Rachel. Before he could say anything to her, she had kissed him. Pleasantly surprised, Hunter’s eyes fluttered shut and he smiled into her first kiss. He loved how soft her lips were and how she tasted faintly of vanilla regardless of whatever she ate or drank beforehand. When she moved into kiss him a second time, Hunter wrapped his arms around her and hummed softly against her lips. His brow furrowed as he followed her lead, his lips parting slightly as she deepened the kiss and suddenly he felt a certain craving for the girl. Not sexual or physical, but… something. Hunter couldn’t remember a time when anyone kissed him like this.
Hunter understood what he meant to Rachel. He was aware that he held all of the power and ability to break her heart into a million pieces. The amount of trust she put into him was a lot-- enough for him to understand the seriousness of their relationship. When they finally broke away from the kiss to take a breath of air, Hunter found himself feeling a bit breathless. His face was flushed and hot, and he almost felt dazed as he opened his eyes to look at Rachel. “... Wow,” he couldn’t help but to laugh, smiling bashfully. He couldn’t find much else to say as he raked a hand through his hair and licked his lips. He could still feel the kiss lingering, making his face red hot.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s kiss had effectively taken their breath away and she shared his same bashful smile, giggling softly as she glanced down, biting hard on her lip as her cheeks flushed deep red. “Yeah, wow.” She agreed, bringing her knees up to her chest, running her hands over her face before looking at him again. “Oh, Hunter Clarington, what are you doing to me?” Her voice was soft and wrapped in a chuckle as she leaned in to steal one more kiss.
She felt addicted to Hunter in a way-- she craved him just the same as he craved her. In that unexplainable way that no one could ever find the words for, and in every other way possible. He made it very easy for her to lose herself and just drown in him. She was so close to the edge that she was certain that drowning in him would be exactly what she did that night. She stole a couple more kisses from him, just the same as before, slow and hot, and before they knew it the sun was pretty much completely gone. A dark blue blanket covered them and the stars sparkled above.
Rachel happily followed Hunter back to his bike, holding his hand and staying close to him as they made their way back down the hill. She floated on cloud nine all the way to Westerville, sitting a little closer to him and holding on a little tighter, the feeling of their kisses still burning her lips.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter almost didn’t want to move from his spot on that blanket with Rachel. He wanted to stay with her there and it just be the two of them and night sky, the rest of the world forgotten. But Hunter had made a promise to take her swimming and he was going to keep his promise. He reluctantly led her back to his bike all the while holding her hand, a growing tension between them that had been very different from the other times they’d spent together. At least it felt different to the man.
They made their way back to Westerville and Hunter knew the route like the back of his hand. With the sun gone, the air had become chilly but he had Rachel’s kiss and her arms wrapped around his torso keeping him arm. He felt her body press up against his back and it made him smile like an idiot. When they arrived back in Westerville and pulled up into the Dalton Academy parking lot, it was already past the time when the staff enforced all boys be back in their dorms. Hunter was careful to keep his motorcycle to a dull purr as he parked it and led Rachel inside. “C’mon; I don’t want us to get caught,” he whispered to her as they maneuvered through the school and made their way to the swimming pool. Hunter knew of an entrance that would be unlocked and at this hour, no one had any reason to go swimming so it would be easy to go by undetected.
“I’m guessing you didn’t bring a swimsuit in that little purse of yours?” He asked with a coy smile when they arrived at the pool. He already knew the answer and knew an entire change or clothes or even a swimsuit wouldn’t have fit in her bag. Hunter started getting undressed, pulling his shirt over his head and letting it fall to the ground. “I’ll swim in my underwear if it’ll make you feel better,” he assured her, undoing the buckle of his jeans before letting them pool around his ankles and stepping out of them.
Rachel Berry:
Sneaking into Dalton after hours to swim and to spend the night with Hunter made Rachel feel so bad and it felt so good. She liked that Hunter brought out the side of her that was fearless and willing to do things she wanted without being afraid. She wasn’t afraid when she was with him-- she didn’t feel like she needed to be. It felt like nothing bad could happen and even if it did, she could face whatever it was because Hunter was there with her. He made her feel weak and strong all at the same time.
Rachel felt like an idiot when they got to the pool and she realized she had not prepared for their date as much as she’d originally thought-- she completely forgot to get the bag she packed that was still lying on the floor in her room. Therefore, she had no swimsuit. Great. She blushed, almost embarrassed as Hunter began to undress. “Hunter-- I can’t..” She giggled softly, covering her face with her hands for a moment before peeking through to take a nice, good look at the man in front of her. Sure, they were still teenagers by definition, but Hunter was a man and his body was gorgeous. Gorgeous enough to make her heart skip a beat, sending signals through her body, her entire body. It didn’t take too much more convincing before the shorter was kicking off her shoes. “Okay, okay.” She figured being in her bra and panties wasn’t much different than the bikini she’d packed. “You think you’re just so good because you actually got me in my underwear on this date, huh?” She teased, unbuttoning her shorts to pull them down along with her tights. A little nervous, she pulled her sweater up and over her head, revealing her dark, navy colored matching bra and panties set, hot pink lace acting as an outline to both.
Rachel bit down on her bottom lip as she looked to Hunter, giggling softly once more, shaking her head. “Last one in has to buy breakfast in the morning.” She said with a cute nose crinkle before running and jumping into the pool with a splash.
Hunter Clarington:
When Hunter was stripped down to just his black boxer briefs, he chuckled when Rachel initially covered her face as to not look at him. It was cute how one girl could be so adventurous and sexy but then be so innocent and adorable at the same time. “I'd like to think I've won yet again, yes,” he said with a smirk on his face. As he watched Rachel undress, he watched her with hungry, invading eyes. He could feel himself practically salivating and he had to swallow thickly when she had stripped down to just her underwear. Hunter was no fool-- he knew what a matching bra and panties meant on a date. He knew what she probably had in mind when she chose to wear those today of all days.
Before he could say anything more, Rachel was already jumping into the pool. Hunter supposed he should be grateful for the water being there to cool him off-- just watching Rachel undress already had him hot and bothered. Diving into the pool after her with a laugh, he swam over to her and smiled brightly. “The water feels great, right?” he asked her as he floated nearby. “I love the way the water feels. It’s so relaxing.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel giggled softly as Hunter swam up to her as she floated easily, treading the water beneath her. She couldn’t help but smile back at him when he flashed her his bright grin, shaking her head. “It feels wonderful.” She agreed. “You must love the way it feels if you chose the swim team over lacrosse-- which is probably a good thing considering their team.” She chuckled softly, shaking her head. She was thankful that Sebastian and Hunter hadn’t been on every team together.
Taking a deep breath, Rachel closed her eyes and went under the water to relish in the feeling for a moment before coming back up and wiping under her eyes to rid of any mascara that might’ve been running. Swimming over to the wall of the pool so she could hang on the edge and slowly kick her legs under the water, she looked at her date, smiling at him and shaking her head. She thought about the moments that led up to this one, the one where he was in a pool, at night, in her underwear, with a boy. She chuckled softly as she glanced down, feeling giddy with a warmth that she’s surprised didn’t cause steam in the cool water. “So, Hunter,” She began, thinking of their previous conversations about him being dangerous, a thought that always followed those of her falling for him. “You mentioned me needing to know what I was getting into, claiming skeletons in your closet.” Rachel grinned a little at him, shrugging slightly. “Enlighten me, tell me about those skeletons. I told you, you don't scare me. Let me prove it.” Her voice was soft as she bit her lip.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter casually swam around Rachel, watching as she dipped herself into the pool to enjoy the temperature and overall feeling it gave her. He shared the same feeling as he swam over to her to rest alongside the edge, both dripping and wet. He thought she looked gorgeous like this. He’d laughed at her comment about not being on the lacrosse team; he could only imagine the drama that would’ve stemmed there and the grief he avoided by choosing swim team instead.
When she asked him about the skeletons in his closet, Hunter wasn’t sure how to answer. He regretted ever mentioning such things to her. With pursed lips, he thought of how he would even begin. “Well, I think there’s still some skeletons from when we decorated for Halloween if you want me to go look for one.” Apparently Hunter wanted to start with a lame joke, hoping to deter Rachel from the subject if even a little bit. When she didn’t budge and gave him a pointed look, he sighed and shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. I think you’ve already gotten the idea that things at home aren’t too great for me,” he confessed, avoiding eye contact with her. “Y’know I haven’t had a room at home to call my own since I was ten years old? When my family moved, they didn’t bother setting up a room for me so they just have a guest bedroom now.” Hunter spoke with an amused smile on his face but his voice came out bitter and upset. He shook his head at how incredulous it sounded saying the fact out loud and he laughed coldly.
Before Rachel could approach him to comfort him, he let himself sink in the water and submerged himself. When he came up for air, he wiped his face and slicked back his hair. “My family thinks I’m some model student whose only focus is schoolwork and the military. I put up this front with them but they don’t know anything about me, really. I guess I should be grateful, though; they pay for my everything as long as I keep my grades up and stay out of trouble.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel was sad to hear that her suspicions had been confirmed about Hunter not having a great home life. She chewed on her lip as she listened to him, glad to see that he was so willing to at least share something with her. The urge to comfort him was halted by him dipping into the water, she took the cue and held off for a moment and she let him finish his story.
“Well,” She started when he was finished, reaching for his hand. “I'm sorry to hear I was right about your family.” She said sincerely as she gently tugged on his arm to bring him closer to her. “I hoped I wasn't. But, you know, your family-- it's their loss.” She said softly, her big brown eyes looking up into his as she pressed her back against the wall again, letting her legs slip around his waist, placing her hands on his chest. “It's going to take more than an unhappy home life to scare me away, Hunt.” She whispered to him.
Hunter Clarington:
When Rachel reached out for him, Hunter eagerly brought her closer and let her rest her almost naked body against his own as he clung to the edge of the wall. It was a slight relief to know that Rachel still accepted him for who he was but his parents were just the tip of the iceberg. He didn't want to get into the detail that if his family found out about their relationship, they would strongly disapprove. “Are you sure it's okay, though? I mean, I know your family is important to you and you spoke so fondly of spending Thanksgiving with them all-- I just don't want you to have any expectations for, well, anything.”
Hunter knew that he was probably getting a little ahead of himself here since he and Rachel weren't even official but he didn't want to continue seeing a girl that would one day want to meet his parents. “If you really think that you'll be okay with that, then I'm all for us to continue doing,” he gestured between the two of them, “whatever this is.” With the cool water swirling around them, Hunter could feel Rachel’s heat radiating from her body. He rested his forehead against hers, their lips mere centimeters apart. “And I really want to keep doing whatever this is with you.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel rolled her eyes a little bit, slipping her arms around Hunter’s neck, a smile pulled at her lips as she rested her forehead against his. “I don't want to stop doing this either.” Shrugging her shoulders, she crinkled her nose. “We don't need to have Thanksgiving with your family, or any family functions. I'm already becoming very protective of you so I don't want to get in a cat fight with your mom.” She teased him to slightly lighten the mood.
“You can't help your family situation-- it isn't a deal breaker.” She assured him, looking him in the eye. “Like I said, it'll take a lot more than a tough family life to scare me away.” She smiled at him sweetly, she tightened her legs around his waist to hold him even closer, her back tight against the pool wall. “You are a really great guy. And I want you.” Her voice was very soft. “Whatever it takes or whatever it means.” Rachel shook her head, feeling the heat in her stomach warm her entire body. Their close proximity was a bit overwhelming despite the seriousness of their conversation. She made sure he was looking into her eyes before she repeated her words wrapped in a quiet whisper for only him to hear.
“I want you, Hunt.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter listened as Rachel spoke, clinging to every word. He chuckled softly when she teased him about getting into a catfight with his mom. Although he was sure the encounter would be much uglier than Rachel was making it out to be, it still made him laugh and he was once again reminded of the way that Rachel always seemed to make him feel-- happy. “I like that you don't scare easy,” he told her, breathing her in.
With the two of them pressed against the wall, Hunter listened carefully as Rachel dropped her voice and spoke in a whisper. The words echoed in his ears first before the girl repeated herself. I want you. His ears were ringing and he almost became dizzy from the arousal alone. He brought his hand up to cup the side of her face and pressed her against the wall as he kissed her with a good amount of force. Rachel was just too irresistible. “I want you-- God, I want you so fucking bad, Rach.” He told her after he broke their kiss. He could feel his insides swirling and bundling up into something unexplainable-- something that went beyond his primal, sexual desire for Rachel.
He pursed his lips before he offered her his invitation, “Do you wanna get outta here? Come back to my room?”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel's insides sparked when Hunter kissed her so hard, thankful that she was being held up between the wall and Hunter or else she might've sunk to the bottom of the pool. She was drowning in Hunter and she liked it. She welcomed it. The way he cursed and said her name was enough to draw a soft noise from her, arousing her further.
Her brown eyes fluttered open when their kiss came to an end and with a wrinkle settled in her forehead, all Rachel did was nod. She didn't even recognize herself as she told him yes-- he did things to her that were unexplainable and she couldn't easily resist. He made her question everything- about everything and herself.
She kissed him needily once before pushing him off her gently so they could exit the pool. She grabbed a towel from a nearby shelf that held clean towels for the swim team, wrapping herself in it and grabbing her clothes and shoes before taking Hunter’s hand and letting him lead her to his room. She knew at any moment if she decided she wasn't comfortable, she could tell him no and he would absolutely back off and they would be okay.
That fact made her want him that much more.
Hunter Clarington:
As soon as Rachel gave him the green light, Hunter got out of the pool as quickly as possible. He made sure he was holding onto her hand tightly as they made their way to the dorms. It was very late and no one else was roaming the halls at this hour. Even with a towel wrapped around him, he was dripping wet and tracked it all the way back to his room but he didn't care. The walk back to his room felt infinitely too long and his heart was pounding in his chest the entire way there.
This was it. This was happening.
He pulled her into his room and was thankful that his roommate had agreed to spend the night at his friend’s. Hunter and Rachel had the room all to themselves. As soon as they were inside, Hunter closed and locked the door. He all but pounced on Rachel, grabby hands pulling the towel off if her and he pulled her into a hungry kiss as they staggered toward the bed. Hunter fell onto the bed first, pulling Rachel on top of him. They were both still wet from being in the pool but Hunter didn't care right now. He kissed her eagerly and he groped her, a hand squeezing her perky ass.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel couldn't help but giggle, covering her mouth as they attempted to quietly make their way to his room. She didn't care that they were leaving a trail either, she didn't care about anything in that moment. All she cared about was her pounding heart and her desire for Hunter building the closer they got to the other’s dorm.
She giggled again when Hunter eagerly kissed her and threw her towel away-- he wanted her. He wanted her. She had never felt so beautiful or sexy or wanted, ever. Rachel loved the way Hunter made her feel and she couldn't get enough, she was addicted to his kiss, his touch. She wanted more.
Letting Hunter pull her down to the bed, she moved to straddle him, placing her hands on his chest and kissing him with purpose- hot and heavy. When she felt his hand on her butt she squeaked softly before humming against his lips. She loved how he touched her-- even when he grabbed her ass it was still almost gentle in a way. Biting his lip, she let her hips roll down ever so slightly to feel some friction, growing more needy and aroused by the minute.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter hummed against her lips and as Rachel rolled her hips down, he pushed his hips up to meet her movements. He let out a quiet groan at the pressure then, his cock growing hard, very quickly. He let his hands explore Rachel's body as he kissed her again and again, his fingers expertly undoing the latch of her bra. He pulled it off of her and pulled back from their heated kisses to look up at her. With the dimmed lights in the room, she looked absolutely gorgeous and Hunter felt his arousal peak. With a gentle hand, he reached out and touched her, his thumb grazing over an erect nipple. “You're so hot, Rach,” he whispered to her, watching her reaction and her facial expression carefully. Hunter was acutely aware that Rachel was a virgin, through and through, and wanted to take his time with her. He wanted this to be something special and especially memorable.
With Rachel straddling him, Hunter had both hands grabbing at her tits, kneading them in a way that he knew she would like. He bit his lip as he watched her, feeling himself getting even harder under her weight.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel sat up when she felt Hunter undoing her bra, letting him take it off, dragging her hands down his chest. She bit her lip as she ran her hand through her brunette hair to flip it to one side, a slight blush on her cheeks. This was new territory for her-- she'd never been naked in front of someone before and it was a big deal. A small gasp fell from her parted lips as Hunter touched her, chills rising on her skin.
Her eyes fell closed as she relished in the feeling of the Warbler’s hands on her, a soft whine crawling from the back of her throat, her panties were no longer wet just from the pool. “Mmm.” She hummed, licking her lips as she rolled her hips again. She needed to feel the friction- she ached to be touched. Leaning down again, Rachel captured Hunter’s lips in another heated kiss.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter moaned into the kiss and even though he already felt like he needed release lest he explode right there on the spot, he had something in mind that he wanted to do with Rachel-- for Rachel. He gently pushed her back and guided her to lie down on the bed. He hovered over her and kissed her passionately, his strong arms holding him up. “I wanna make you feel good,” he murmured into her ear as he kissed down her neck, peppering a trail of kisses down her chest and her stomach as he lowered himself on the bed. He hooked his fingers into the waistband of her wet underwear, looking up to her face to see her reaction as he pulled them off. It was intoxicating to watch her every move, every erotic expression. Seeing every little touch affect her in such a big way really turned him on.
With Rachel now completely naked and exposed, Hunter felt he should do the same to at least not leave her feeling so alone. He quickly shucked off his boxer briefs and tossed them to the other side of the room to be forgotten. He coaxed her to spread her legs and bit his lip when he got a look at her virgin pussy. He slipped a finger between her pussy lips and almost gasped at how wet he’d found her. “Fuck, babe…” he whispered, a single digit circling her clitoris. As always, he watched carefully to gauge her reaction. He wanted to take things slow-- for her.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s back arched ever so slightly as Hunter whispered to her and kissed down her neck, her entire body burning with a warmth that only came with being with Hunter. She kept her eyes on him as he kissed down her body, leaving trails of fire underneath her skin with every kiss, biting on her lip harder as he tugged at her panties. She let him undress her, complying when he wanted her legs to spread. She spread them easily, more than willing to let Hunter touch her. She was far beyond turning back by then-- the need for Hunter much stronger than any voice the might’ve been in her head any other night.
She could feel her heart pounding hard against her chest and her breath becoming shaky as Hunter touched her, a gasp caught in her throat when he touched her clit, causing her to squirm under him. The pet name rolling off his lips and the sound of his low voice cursing just turned her on more, causing her to become even wetter. She noticed the way Hunter looked at her-- she thought it was sweet of him to keep an eye on her, making sure she was okay. Nodding her head once, she licked her lips again. “I’m okay, Hunter, I promise.” She said almost breathlessly as she craved more from him. “Please.” She begged, moving against his finger to coax him into more.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter knew that he was the only other person to have been granted access to even see Rachel like this, let alone touch her. It was breathtaking to see the girl so willing to give him her everything in this moment.
When she gave him the go-ahead, something changed in the man’s expression as he slipped his index finger deep into her velvety wetness. She was so hot-- figuratively and literally-- and Hunter could feel his cock throbbing, wishing it could take his finger’s place. He experimented by rotating his finger inside of her at first, loving the way she squirmed because of his touch. She was so wet and it made the slide all the more easier. When she ground her hips down to intensify the feeling, Hunter added another finger and pushed in even deeper. He crooked his fingers inside of her, waiting for any indication from Rachel that he’d found her G-spot.
Rachel Berry:
With one of Hunter’s fingers inside of her, Rachel whimpered softly, the feeling was new and she liked it and needed more-- but when he pushed a second digit into her she whined, sultry and low as she moved against his motions. It felt so good. “Hunter,” she whimpered softly before she felt the taller crook his fingers and she gasped loudly.
As Hunter hit that sweet spot she gripped the bedding below and spread her legs a bit more, her back arching deeper as she squirmed. “Oh, Hunt.” She full-on moaned the nickname the other claimed to not like as she moved down against him to feel that feeling again. She needed more, more, more. “Harder.”
Hunter Clarington:
When Rachel squeaked and moaned out to him, a devious smile made its way onto Hunter’s lips. He repeated the same motion again and again, following Rachel's instructions to do it harder. With his free hand he groped at her tit again, massaging and kneading it to add to her pleasure. He loved the way that Rachel's tits seemed to fit perfectly in his hand-- like they were made for specifically him to touch and do as he pleased.
He continued to press little imaginary circles against that coveted sweet spot, urging for her to climax. “C'mon, babe, want you to come for me,” he coaxed, looking down at her and looking her in the eye. “Come for me, Rach.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel's brown eyes fell to meet Hunter’s as he fingered her harder, her breath heavy as she moved her body against him, the muscles in her abs contracting with every movement, her skin glistening with a thin layer of sweat as she got closer to the edge.
She obviously knew what an orgasm felt like- she'd taken care of herself many times. Most times lately with Hunter in mind. But she hadn't felt one rush at her so fast before-- it was almost as if Hunter was too good. Her insides twisted when he coaxed her to come for him, her name coming out of his mouth was enough to push her over the edge and her body shook. Her eyes screwed shut and her back arched off the bed completely as she whined loudly, clenching around his fingers as her orgasm hit her. Panting Hunter’s name as she ground her hips down, desperately riding her orgasm.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter was very pleased with himself for making her come so strongly from just his fingers alone. His fingers coated with a slick wetness, he pulled them out of her once she'd come down from her orgasm. He sucked the juices off of each of his digits, relishing in the taste as he looked down at her trying to catch her breath. He wasn't done with her yet.
“That's my girl-- coming so well for me,” he praised. His voice was quiet and soft but there was a certain darkness in his tone-- possessive and powerful. He grinned at her as he licked his lips, running his hands up and down her naked thighs before spreading them as wide as he could and ducking his head down. He plunged face-first into her open cunt, his tongue flickering the hard little button peeking out under her mound. When he felt her hips jerking and grinding down against him, he only moaned and continued his ministrations.
Rachel Berry:
A shiver ran up Rachel’s spine at the way Hunter spoke to her- she loved it. She loved how he wanted her to feel like she belonged to him- she liked feeling like she belonged to him. So far she wasn't having any regrets about her choices.
She barely had time to catch her breath before Hunter was spreading her legs again and settling himself between them. Biting her lip hard, her body trembled and jerked as he licked her- her body still sensitive from her first orgasm. Gasping quietly as she felt the vibrations from his moan against her, their conversation before flashing through her mind as he talked about eating her out- she figured he'd be good since he'd had experience before but she didn't know he'd be so good.
A slight insecurity that she might not be as good as whatever girl he had been with before popped up in the back of her mind but it was quickly washed away with the wave of pleasure that came with the way Hunter's tongue worked against her, her skin burning from the way his hands felt on her body. Her forehead wrinkled deeply as she ground down against his face, the sensitivity subsiding finally. “Hunter..” All she could manage to say was his name, but she wanted him to know she felt so good.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter licked and slurped at the abundant wetness; his hands exploring and touching Rachel wherever he could reach. With his large hands on her body, she felt smaller somehow. It was almost like she was this precious, fragile thing that he didn't want to break. But at the same time he wanted nothing more but to break her until she came undone-- a trembling, feverish, mess who couldn't come anymore. He traced the letters of the alphabet against her wet sex, repeating the ones that made her moan over and over again. He spelled out little words, her name, his name-- all with his tongue.
Hearing his name fall from her lips in such a desperate, wanton voice turned him on. He wanted her to keep saying his name over and over again and he didn't care if anyone heard them or not. What probably turned him on the most was that he was the first person to see her and touch her this way. Rachel was a virgin and had never let another soul come anywhere near her like this. He looked up at her to the best of his ability from his position, memorizing exactly how she looked. If going down on her hadn't already made him rock hard, watching her reaction certainly would have. His cock was damn near throbbing and seeking some much needed relief; Rachel was not the only one desperate for more. He hummed once more against her cunt, the vibrations of his tongue and mouth on her pushing her closer to the edge once more.
Rachel Berry:
As Hunter continued to lick her over and over, Rachel moved against his motions to meet them, it all felt so overwhelming. Almost as if it was too much and not enough at the same time. She could already feel her second orgasm rushing towards her at full speed as Hunter was seemingly reciting the alphabet with his tongue against her clit- certain letters making her moan louder and deeper than others.
With her back arching yet again, Rachel reached down to tangle her fingers in Hunter’s hair, tugging on it as she gripped the sheets tightly with her free hand- her toes curling under as her body shook with another orgasm. It was even more intense this time around and her eyes rolled back into her head, her hand pulling at his hair as she came for him again.
Rachel whined Hunter’s name over and over again, throwing Hunt in there a few times as well, her words mixed with a series or loud whimpers and moans-- even a mumbled profanity crawled its way out of her mouth. Had she not been so drunk off of her orgasm and Hunter in general she might've been embarrassed by it- but considering she way lying there under him naked, her body covered in sweat, dripping wet and orgasming in front of him, she was beyond being embarrassed about anything.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter ate Rachel through her orgasm, gratefully licking up and swallowing down her sweet juices. He pushed himself back up off of the bed, using the back of his hand to wipe his mouth. He climbed his way back up to meet her face-to-face, looking down at her completely debauched expression. “Fuck, Rach; you're too fucking hot.” He lowered himself to kiss her needily, the taste of her lips mixing with her juices and he moaned at how dirty it all was. “I love the way you say my name,” he admitted, squaring his hips with hers before he rolled them down for his hard cock to brush up against her body. He let out a shuddering breath, the mere touch alone enough to send a thrill up his spine.
“Wanna be inside of you-- wanna feel you,” he told her, looking into her eyes. He was bordering on desperate for her after making her come twice already when he hadn't yet. He reached over to his nightstand to procure a condom. He ripped through the wrapper with his teeth and straddling the girl, he slipped it onto his cock with ease. “How do you want me?” He asked, multiple possible positions flashing through his head. He stroked his cock slightly to alleviate some of the pressure that had built up. “I promise to go slow,” he assured her, aware that this was a big step Rachel was taking as a woman. He was eager but not selfishly so. “... wanna make you feel good.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel clung to Hunter when he came up to kiss her, kissing him back with desperation as she wrapped her arms around him and hummed against his lips. She loved the way he spoke to her, the way he kissed her, the way he touched her. The things she felt-- she knew this wasn't just some random sexual act for him. She knew she meant something to him and she could feel it.
Her brown eyes fluttered open to watch Hunter as he reached for a condom and suddenly things felt real. She was really about to do this- she was going to give Hunter everything. She was breaking her promise to herself that she'd kept for years. And yet, she couldn't find anywhere inside of her that rejected it.
Licking her lips, her breath finally calming into soft but heavier than normal breaths, she looked up at him and took in the sight for the first time. Hunter was gorgeous. His body was near perfect and she noted the freckles sprinkled across his soft skin, making plans to kiss them sometime in the near future. Biting her lip as her eyes trailed down to watch Hunter effortlessly roll the condom onto his erection, Rachel's arousal already began to return. She wasn't finished, either, and she wanted more. Shaking her head as he asked her where she wanted him and promised he'd go slow, she felt warmth in her heart that he cared so much for her. With a small smile on her lips, she leaned up to pull him closer, kissing him slow and hot. Spreading her legs for him once more, her voice was soft and low. “However you want me. Just want you to take me, Hunt.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter had kept his eyes on Rachel when he listened to her answer, witnessing the certainty and determination exuding from her entire being. He saw the way she looked at him with such desire that he knew there was no turning back. With a gentle smile, he lowered himself to capture her in one more kiss. “Just like this, then,” he decided, shifting onto the bed. He spread her legs so that his body rested between them, nothing but the thin rubber separating themselves from each other. Pushing back from behind Rachel’s thigh, he spread her as widely as possible as he positioned his cock at her entrance. He was so big and she was so small; for a moment he was worried he wouldn't fit but by God he was willing to try his best.
Holding the base of his cock, the blunt tip rested right at Rachel’s wet, dripping entrance. He hoped that he had prepped her and made her come enough that she could accommodate him. With a firm hand on her leg giving her a little squeeze, he locked eyes with Rachel as an unspoken warning that this was it. He entered her slowly, biting down on his lip as he showed as much restraint as physically possible. As he pushed in, all he could think was tight, tight, tiiiight. He felt Rachel clenching hungrily around him, trying her best to take him in. When he couldn't push in any further, he let out a rough exhale and looked down at her. He let his body drape over hers, holding himself up and hovering over her. It was a simple missionary position but this was Rachel’s first time and they could save the more adventurous positions for another time. Tonight was about taking it slow. “Okay?” he asked, his fingers just barely brushing against her cheek. He really wanted to start moving but he knew he was a lot to take in at once and Rachel was more important to his desire to get off.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel bit down hard on her lip when she felt Hunter’s erection pressing against her entrance. This was it, no turning back now. With her forehead wrinkled, she looked up at Hunter as he began to push into her, the intrusion causing her eyes to close. She was surprised that it didn't really hurt at all, she was thankful for the amount of foreplay Hunter cared to do before they got to this point. He took care of her and that meant everything to her.
Her lips parted and she gasped as she felt him deep inside of her, a whine falling from her mouth. “Oh my god.” When Hunter let himself down on her she immediately clung to him, letting her legs hook on his hips. She clung to him so tightly that her back came up off the bed slightly and she moved down to attempt to take him deeper, wanting more. It felt so good to be filled with Hunter. She felt so connected to him and once again she felt completely overwhelmed with the things she was feeling mentally, emotionally and physically.
When Hunter paused to make sure she was okay, Rachel nodded her head, her breath shaking, body trembling. “Y-yes. I'm okay. Feels really good, Hunt.” She whispered against his ears. “So good.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter smiled when Rachel ensured that she was doing okay despite her shaky breath or the fact that there was deep wrinkle between her brows. He rubbed his hand up and down her sides affectionately. When Rachel dug her heels into his back, he leaned in and it caused his cock to delve even deeper into her. “I'm gonna move; just tell me if it's too much for you.” Hunter warned and he started moving, slowly. At first he pulled out until only the head of his cock was still buried, then he rolled his hips back down and sunk himself back into her. The action overwhelmed him with pleasure and he shut his eyes as he repeated the motion.
Again. And again. And again.
Soon, Hunter had built up to a steady rhythm, and he could feel his body tensing up. His muscles rippled as he found it more and more difficult to reel himself back in, his fingers digging into Rachel's hips as he bucked into her. Each thrust was harder than the last until the rhythm began to tumble into an erratic mess. He panted out short, heavy breaths and he could feel sweat beading along his brow and his back.
Rachel Berry:
As he pulled out and buried himself deeper inside of her, Rachel clung harder and harder to Hunter, her nails digging into his back as she clenched around him. The amount of pleasure was intensified by the closeness of their bodies, the feeling of their skin touching and not being able to tell where she began and he ended was almost enough for her to orgasm again right then and there.
Placing one of her hands on the back of Hunter’s neck, she pushed their faces together to kiss him desperately, biting on his bottom lip as a deep groan made its way out of the back of her throat. She kept her hand on the Warbler’s neck to keep their foreheads pressed together, sharing each other’s hot breath as they panted harder with every movement. “Hunt, Hunter.” She whined his name for the hundredth time that night. She continued to whine his name, her voice only loud enough for them to hear but the more she repeated his name, the louder she got as she felt her third orgasm of the night threatening to hit.
Hunter Clarington:
Rachel's hands clinging to him and her nails digging into his back left a delicious pain that he would later crave once more. They both moved in tandem with one another that it almost felt like they were melting into each other. He was certain by the end of the night he would be addicted to the way she said his name. He knew he couldn't keep up the charade that he disliked that nickname because when she said it, it drove him wild.
Hunter felt his climax fast approaching and as Rachel pulled him in for a messy, charged kiss, he recognized when his body exceeded the point of no return. “Rach… G-gonna come,” he gasped against her lips as she held them together, his hips now bucking wildly into her. His entire body flexed and with an especially forceful thrust into her, he was coming. “Fuck, fuck, fuck…” he chanted as he moved erratically, riding out his orgasm and his spend spilled into the condom. He felt like his insides were on fire and every last bit of him was being poured out and into Rachel.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel moved her hips against Hunter’s desperately, as she moaned and whimpered against his mouth, panting harder as he gasped her name. Before she knew it her orgasm hit her so hard she almost blacked out- throwing her head back and moaning about loudly as she came all around him. Her orgasm hitting her harder than the first two. Keeping herself clenched around him as his orgasm hit, wanting him to ride it out in the most pleasurable way possible. Her brown eyes fluttered as she fell back onto the bed, her back arched once more as he pounded into her.
Her body trembled harshly as they began to slow, the pleasure almost being too much for her to handle. As she let herself finally completely rest against the bed she was panting hard, soft whimpers and whines escaping her as she was still high off of the intense orgasm she'd just experienced. “Hunter.” She whined, a wrinkle in her forehead and a chuckle on her lips. “Holy moly.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter was relieved when Rachel came with him, his entire body feeling like jelly as he came down from his high. He almost fell limp on top of the girl but he managed to muster up enough upper body strength to slowly lower himself onto her, chest heaving with heavy breaths. He'd become flaccid but was still inside of her, unmoving as he tried to catch his breath. He chuckled at her words; he shared the same sentiment. “Holy moly is right,” he said between pants.
Watching Rachel come multiple times tonight because of him had left him somewhat dazed. After a few moments of them holding each other, Hunter slowly and gingerly slipped out of Rachel. He hissed at the touch, now too sensitive for anything as he pulled the used condom off and carefully tied it off before slinging it into the nearby wastebasket. He fell back down on the bed but not before grabbing his blankets and covered the two of them. He laid down next to Rachel and turned to face her, kissing her even though they were both still feeling the effects of their orgasms. He hummed contentedly into her mouth, his whole body thrumming with happiness.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel didn't hesitate to cuddle close to Hunter when he covered them up, feeling particularly clingy after having had such an incredible sexual experience. She kissed him back slowly and lovingly, her hand on his side- pulling him as close as possible. She felt so much in that moment for the guy in front of her that it would've probably scared her if she wasn't in such a daze from said feelings and the orgasms.
She kissed Hunter again, slower, with more feeling before she finally broke it to look up at him, placing her hands on his chest. Rachel couldn't stop a big grin from spreading across her face, glancing down briefly and chuckling again. “Hunter, that was-” She shook her head, almost at a loss for words. “More perfect that I could've dreamed.
Hunter Clarington:
Rachel’s slow kisses and toothy grin made Hunter smile up at her despite his tiredness. He chuckled lowly and gave her a smug look, his ego properly inflated. “I'm glad you liked it so much. I'll gladly do it again for you-- anytime you want it.” He waggled his eyebrows at her then, running his hand up and down her naked back. “We could even do it in the morning if you really wanted-- I'm great in the morning.” Despite his casual demeanor, Hunter looked at Rachel and touched her with care and comfort. He meant every last word.
They were still naked together and Hunter didn't mind at all. In fact, he was glad to see that even after everything, Rachel hadn't shied away or regretted anything that happened. He really wanted to keep seeing Rachel and being with her like this. He felt like he could definitely get used to having her naked in his bed. Or maybe even him being naked in her bed.
He looked up at her and gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. He couldn't wipe that stupid grin off of his face when he saw how happy she was. How happy that he made her.
Rachel Berry:
Rachel chuckled softly as Hunter suggested that they could have a replay in the morning. Raising her eyebrows, she let her thumb caress his chest slowly, brushing over one his freckles, smiling softly. “I think I need a break- but I'll let you know in the morning.” She said with another soft chuckle, wincing softly as she moved to tangle her naked legs with his, a dull pain in her pelvic area.
As Hunter looked at her with his own dumb grin, it made her giggle softly, looking down bashfully with a blush on her cheeks. She loved the way he looked at her, no one had ever looked at her that way before. Not even Finn.
“You really like me, don't you?” She asked softly, her eyes meeting his.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter laughed softly again when Rachel insisted she might need a break. It was understandable considering this was her first time ever and it certainly must've hurt. He just hoped that the pleasure outlasted whatever pain she may have sustained. When she tangled their legs together, Hunter wrapped an arm around Rachel's slender figure and pulled her closer still.
He gazed into her eyes with a gentle stare and when asked that question, he smiled bashfully. No one else was there in the room except the two of them. There was nothing for him to hide for any reason whatsoever.
“Yeah, I do. I like you a lot.”
Rachel Berry:
Her smile widened when Hunter confirmed that he did, in fact, like her- not only that, but he liked her a lot. Those words caused the butterflies to dust off the ashes from her earlier fiery arousal and flutter around in her stomach. If she were being honest with everyone in the room she would admit that she was falling for Hunter and falling hard.
But she wasn't stupid and she knew better than to tell him that. So she just smiled sweetly at him before kissing him just as sweet, whispering against his lips, “That makes me happy.”
Hunter Clarington:
It was obvious to Hunter that his words made Rachel very happy. He liked making her happy. It was nice to feel wanted and to be trusted in such an intimate way. Smiling into the kiss, he held her close and let out another contented breath of air.
“You make me happy,” he whispered back to her, pressing another soft kiss to her lips. He liked being honest and open; it made everything seem so simple and easy.
Rachel Berry:
“Oof,” She breathed when Hunter said those words, her heart skipping a beat, giggling softly. Her face felt so warm and she was certain he blush on her cheeks was permanent by now. She melted into his embrace as he held her closer, their bodies still warm from all of their activity.
Rachel managed to snuggle even closer to her guy as she hugged against him, nuzzling her face into his neck to breathe him in-- his scent was her new favorite. “Hunter, what are you doing to me?” She repeated her word from earlier in the night, shaking her head. “You’re too sweet-- too good to me.” Rachel pressed her lips against the crook of his neck, sighing happily. “No guy has ever treated me so well-- my ex-boyfriend forgot many times that I was a vegetarian.” Memories of when she dated Finn flashed through her mind and she shook her head, leaning her elbow onto the bed, resting her head against her hand. “When he would take me out or make me dinner it would always be meat-- every time I reminded him and every time he’d be like ‘oh, that’s right, you’re kind of a vegetarian aren't you? Oh well, this it’s already dead, why not eat it?’ It would make me so mad and I would feel so alone and just-- not heard.” She said, looking at him, smiling a little. “But not you, I mentioned it half-a-time and you remembered and cared enough to take me to an all-vegetarian diner. You take care of me. I don’t...really know how to react to that.” Rachel said honestly as she shrugged her shoulder. “You really make me feel special.”
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter mirrored Rachel when she laughed, also grinning ear-to-ear and chuckling with her. He had been aware of the effect he’d had on the girl since the first time they’d gone out-- maybe even before then at the Halloween party or even when they first met face-to-face in the McKinley High School auditorium. It was always nice to be paid compliments and he feigned modesty when Rachel called him sweet. As the girl opened up about her ex-boyfriend not remembering the fact that she was a vegetarian, he scrunched his brows together and gave her a look of disbelief. He didn’t understand how someone who was dating her could just completely forget that fact. For Hunter, it was an opportunity to show the girl that he was superior to her ex in as many ways possible.
“You are special,” he told her, placing his hand over hers. He took ahold of her hand and laced their fingers together as he looked into her eyes. “And I think a girl as special as yourself deserves to be treated in the best way possible-- like the queen that you are.” He brought her hand up to his lips and pressed a gentle kiss to the back of her hand. He shrugged then, the next words he thought to say making him a little flustered even before saying them, “I like taking care of you.”
Rachel Berry:
Rachel’s heart almost completely stopped when Hunter kissed her hand, she felt dizzy from the way he was making her feel. For the hundredth time that night she was completely overwhelmed. She had no more words for them that would be deemed acceptable for a second date. She was falling in love with Hunter already and she knew it was fast even for her-- she wouldn’t tell a soul.
“I like that you think I’m special.” She whispered, cuddling closer and letting herself nuzzling into the crook of his neck again, her brown eyes becoming heavy with sleep as her body was finally completely relaxed. She tightened her legs around Hunter’s as a yawn slipped from her lips. “I think you’re special, too.” Rachel’s voice was soft as she spoke to him. “You’re a really good man.” Pressing a kiss to the other’s neck, she settled in that spot comfortably, she was absolutely spent-- so much so that she couldn’t be bothered to care that she would most likely feel insecure about being naked in the morning. In that moment she just felt too comfortable all cuddled up with Hunter, skin on skin, to care.
Hunter Clarington:
Hunter listened as Rachel spoke to him, every word keeping him warm down to the core of his entire being. He held onto her and looked down at her tired face, smiling to himself when she closed her eyes. It meant a lot to him that she thought he was a good person in spite of how their relationship started and all of the rumors and gossip that had been spoken about him. He was well-aware that some of Rachel’s friends didn’t exactly approve of him. He wholly appreciated that she took the time and the effort to look beyond that and make her own decisions when it came to him.
Watching as Rachel slowly drifted off to sleep, Hunter pressed a gentle kiss to the top of the girl’s head. He loved that she fit so perfectly lying all cuddled up next to him and he felt absolutely comfortable and at ease. He found himself yawning as well and he shut his eyes. The last thing he remembered thinking before he fell asleep was that he, too, might just be falling for Rachel as well.
