It is very important to embrace failure and to do a lot of stuff — as much stuff as possible — with as little fear as possible. It’s much, much better to wind up with a lot of crap having tried it than to overthink in the beginning and not do it.

This breakfast illustration was actually created with help and guidance from a Skillshare class instructed by Mikey Burton. Even though it was a challenge I would have to say I really enjoyed the class and all the new techniques that I learned.
If you ever want to try out graphic design, cooking, knitting, photography, beat making, etc. put Skillshare in your search engine and take a class. If I’m not mistaken your first month is free.

Cider + Donuts = Autumn Vibes. <3
One thing about the fall where I live that I love are the cider mills. Delicious cider and freshly made donuts with the crisp autumn breeze kissing my skin is magical!

SNEAK PEEK
I feel like I say I’m so excited all the time, but for reaaaal real real...I’m super excited to show you all a sneak peek of the new prints I’ll be putting in my store (BTT Prints on Etsy).
The process was a lot of fun. I started OFF the computer with these prints. I used paint, yes REAL paint, to get these great paint stroke textures. After that I scanned them to my computer and finessed it in Adobe Photoshop.
Are you guys wondering about that faux gold leaf effect I achieved? Well, I can’t wait to share my secret on how to get that effect to use on your projects. Keep a look out for that post.
