[fresher!Win + Vice-president!Team]
Without pause, Win straddled the bench across from him and set the bag down between them.
"I have a friend who's in the cooking club," Win explained despite not being prompted. "He gave me these this morning, I told him I don't eat desserts much but he insisted."
As he opened the cardboard box, a few cups of pastel coloured sweets came into view. Team felt the spaces in his stomach like an abyss as he watched Win pull one out with a calculating look.
"Hopefully they're still fresh enough..." He muttered before eating the dessert whole, the plastic cup crackling loud in the room as Team watched.
Wins smiled happily at the taste and he nodded in approval, lean fingers dipping in to pull another one out while he continued to chew.
Team was wary as Win held a light pink dessert in front of him in offering.
He hesitated, eyes flickering over Win suspiciously for a moment but figured that no one with food could have bad intentions.
His fingers bumped gently into Wins as he grasped the tiny dessert, smelling it briefly before popping it out of the cup and into his mouth.
His eyes lit up as the sweet taste washed over his tongue, his grin uninhibited as he looked at Win in surprise.
"Iss gud-" he mumbled with his mouth still chewing.
Win chuckled quietly and shook his head lightly, leaning one of his hands on his knee as he picked another dessert up, tilting closer to Team to pass another over easily.
"It's called Leum Kluen." He murmured into the space between them, watching with a small smirk as Team took the second dessert without the hesitation of the first and bit into it without thought.
Team didn't realize how close the two had been leaning together until the sound of a throat clearing behind him had him jerking forward slightly and knocking his forehead in a gentle tap against Wins.
Teams eyes flew wide at the realization of their proximity and he sat up swiftly, his eyes wide and guilty as he looked over his shoulder at Dean standing in the entryway.
"What are you two doing?"
Dean surveyed the way Teams cheeks puffed and looked over his shoulder to Win before drifting back to his Vice President.
"You're eating." It was a simple accusation.
"Noh." Team denied, his response muffled.
Dean raised an eyebrow in disbelief.
"I can clearly see you chewing."
Team swallowed subtly, shaking his head. "It's not chewing, it's a nervous tick!" He defended with a frown.
"Really? What are you nervous about?"
Teams mouth snapped shut, no answer forthcoming.
Dean nodded his head in reply to the silence, "That's what I thought."
He uncrossed his arms as he walked further into the room, gesturing to where Win sat lazily next to him.
"Team, what kind of example are you setting for your Junior? You know the rules."
Team sighed as he turned forlornly around.
"No food allowed in the locker room." He muttered sullenly, slowly pushing the box back towards Wins side of the bench.
Team rolled his eyes at the quick comment.
"It's a stupid rule." Team muttered under his breath.
Wins eyes flickered back and forth between the two seniors, slowly raising another sweet to his lips as he watched the altercation.
"I said -" Team huffed loudly, turning to address Dean again, "it's a stupid rule." He finished quietly. "People have to eat to survive Dean!"
Dean nodded in his absolute fakest expression of empathy (Team was sure he felt none) as he approached and clasped Team gently on the shoulder.
"You can eat Team," he said. "Just not in here." A swift knife to Teams heart, a true friend.
Dean was quick to turn on the blonde beside him. "Win, put a shirt on, go home."
Win smirked a little and held his hand up in surrender, saying "Sure." Agreeably as he piled together his rubbish after removing the last dessert cup.
"This last one is for you anyway."
Dean looked from Win to the pink Leum Kluen in his hand.
When Dean didn't move to take it Win stood up, displacing Dean's hand from Teams shoulder and lightly placing the dessert in the center of his upturned palm instead.
"My new friend from the cooking club made it. His name's Pharm."
Dean quirked a brow at the proclamation.
"Apparently the person who eats the last Leum Kluen will have a cute partner."
Win patted Dean carefully on the shoulder before grabbing his training bag from the floor along with holding the rubbish.
Both swim seniors watched in various degrees of bewilderment as Win nodded a respectful wai to Dean saying "P'Dean." In farewell as he brushed past.
Win said 'phi' in a way that was both respectful yet also sounded vaguely derogatory.
He was then quick to send a wai towards Team, his grin peaking over the tips of his fingers as he muttered "Hia." Quietly before disappearing out of the door.
Team resolutely ignored the look he could feel Dean weighing on him and stood up with an exaggerated stretch and made a quick excuse to leave.
