Happy Bi Day !! I know earlier I said I wasn't sure that I'd be able to make something for today, but then I had a relatively simple idea come to mind and wanted to take advantage of it :3

I wanted to draw Starburst for a number of reasons here haha. Mainly, she's the main sona I use to express the biromantic half of my labels, and also bc it feels like forever since I last drew her lol. The last time I gave her a full drawing was back in June, so it was nice to bring her back to the spotlight :3

It was also nice to draw some pride art again bc it's also been a long time since I did some of that! I didn't do very much of it during pride month earlier this year, so again, it felt like it had been a really long time since I did a price-centric piece.

I've gone into what my biromantic label means to me in the past, so I won't go through all of that again here, but just know it's something that brings me a lot of comfort <33

Happy Celebrate Bisexuality Day!

While many parts of the queer community mark visibilty or awareness days, the word "Celebrate" was conciously chosen for Celebrate Bisexuality Day on the 23rd of September.

To quote one of the day's founders, Wendy Curry (left):

"Pride is an outward act - letting the world know we were not ashamed of who we were. C[elebrate] B[isexuality] D[ay] was meant to be an inward act. Getting our community together to celebrate who were we and how privileged we were to be who we are."

Shout out to all our bi followers on this day!

Nothing will ever be as funny to me as the fact that society progressed so far in the time since 2005 that the demeaning homophobic jokes of vintage spn are now read as obvious signs of Dean Winchester's bisexuality. They based a cowboy on a bisexual man and tried so hard to make that cowboy straight that they accidentally manifested thee accurate long form portrayal of a closeted bisexual man on television. BiCon.
