So it’s literally the first day of pride month and as someone who’s part of the LGBT, I should be fucking ecstatic and over the moon yeah all I feel is dread because personally, I don’t wanna deal with the mistreatment that I know for sure I’m gonna get from the rest of the community. It happens every single year. A community talks about love and acceptance and being happy about people showing their true colors yet they only mean the ones that aren’t disabled. Also, the amount of times that people have been treating me bad because I’m a cis guy is high. I just don’t want to do it man. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention the fact that I’m ace flux and don’t even claim it half the time because the way people treat me and get fucking creepy sexually, especially women who don’t understand that just because I’m a guy that doesn’t mean my baby gravy cylinder is suddenly gonna turn into a beagle and go stiff and say what’s that boy!!!

As a bi person, bisexual Buck existing on our screens without too much question is so meaningful.

I am struggling to find the words.

I exist and I’m there.

I’m a bi person and I’m there in not understanding my feelings and my support system trying to make parallels with friendships, like Maddie did talking about her childhood best friend.

I am there in the confused irrationality of “this is my best friend and I am so far from him and now there is a hole in my heart that is so much bigger than I thought it would be.”

I am a bi person and I am there, on the screen, figuring shit out at 31 and having that “oh” moment, that is so small but so meaningful and so life changing.

there's something to note in how bisexual women are invalidated as "straight girls who just wanna be edgy, and look hot to men" & bisexual men are invalidated as "gay men who are too scared to come out as gay".

Guys, heteronormativity has rotted my brain to the point where I've been making the same mistake without realizing it.

So I always found it difficult to describe how I love. I know that I don't care too much about gender when it comes to attraction but I always felt like I was missing something very important and I finally realized it:

I don't wanna be married in a literal sense, I don't want the static idea of a partner or lover. But I wanna kiss & hold someone, say I love them so deeply, let them know I'd do anything for them, that I think they're the most beautiful person to me, and that I enjoy being with them so much I can spend centuries in silence just being with them, I wanna buy a cozy apartment together, and we'll decorate parts of the house the way each of us like so we can see how we merge in real time, we'll one of our favorite pets and call them our children, I wanna call them my partner my soulmate, and when ppl ask if we're dating we'll tell them the truth...

We can still love each other but it's not out of the hope that we'll someday "tie the knot", there's no pressure to initiate standard romance or s*xual duties or whatever.

Ppl might be confused but everything down to the I love you's is strictly platonic.

While I would be fine in a romantic relationship I'm tired of ppl always expecting one from me when if I had the choice I'd rather prefer a QPR over regular dating.

Pride for Closet Bi Guys?

This month seems like it never addresses the issue of married guys, who are bi, and do not act on it (or even if they do secretly act on it).  Is their a place for guys who are bi and not out about it?  

For many it is a choice.  They come to realize they have an attraction for men long after they made a commitment and have a great life.  They do not want to mess with their family, but come to be okay with the bi side being part of them.

I never see much written, but I know from chatting here.... there are lots of people in this place.
