Reading this book, Di-Curious, premise being two characters, one a girl and one afab nb, falling in love across a gaming table while at first not liking eachother IRL (there's more do it, but) and like, half the pair - Nova - is just... distinctly unpleasant and not even in a fun way, just a 'you're petty and exhausting and don't blame this person for shit that's not on them'

Also, maybe I'm just different, but the absolutely horrible lack of clear boundaries and rules to prevent interplayer problems just makes all the characters in this group look kinda sucky.
