Story time:

Today in Arts class, me and my friend (Yes, the one who said she’s never met anyone like me) had to sit right in front of the teacher’s desk (and we’re both pretty tall (compared to our classmates, at least...)) and, like, five minutes into the lesson, I shit you not, I noticed that there’s BILL FUCKING CIPHER ON THE BLACKBOARD. LIKE, HE DIDN’T HAVE HIS CANE OR EYELASHES OR LEGS OR ARMS BUT HE WAS A TRIANGLE WITH A TOPHAT AND ONE EYE THAT SAID THE TROUBLED BIRDS QUOTE ABOUT TROUBLE. GUYS-

Dipper and Bill Theories For the Season 1 Finale

Several are on my mind...

For some reason, Dipper gives us all that itchy feeling that something bad is gonna happen between him and Bill, more than any other character, despite Grunkle Stan, Soos, or Gideon. Possession and mind entering...Think about it...Mabel could be affected because it's her twin brother, but can you really feel that much of a vibe for it being anyone else?

This particular idea is what makes my mind wander...in 'Summerween', Dipper's shield has a prominent representation of Bill on it. To me...this tells me that Dipper may need a shield to protect himself from Bill, and he just might lack one. I also thought that perhaps Dipper himself could be a shield from Bill. That could be for the benefit of others. Bill could even use Dipper as some sort of shield.

Also, though some digging, I found a few bits of concept art for 'Dreamscaperers'. Apparently, Bill was originally supposed to reveal himself in a dream, to Dipper.

THINK. WHAT DOES THIS TELL YOU?!?!?!

CONNECTION.

They used Bill being summoned and invading Stan's mind in the end, though. But what if they continued to use the original theme into 'Gideon Rises', the final episode?

I'm pretty sure Dipper's birthmark is tied up in this somewhere, too...

Heck, I even had a wacky dream about this possibility. It was strangely ironic, and quite creepy. I think I'll share it with you all in my next post, actually.
