・First of all, AND I KNOW HEIGHT IS EVERYTHING! But this man is SIX FOOT FIVE.
・As a person, Billy is loyal to a fault, unshakably strong, and fiercely protective. Especially over the people he cares about - and you are the person he cares for most.
・Being married to Billy isn't exactly ... traditional. It isn't a gentle life; it's raw, confronting, and filled with stolen romance inbetween chaos.
・And yet, underneath the weight of war and duty, there is an abundance of love. Devotion so real and raw that it makes your heart break. Your bond is so strong that nothing, not even a storm on the seas could break it.
・Billy is an early bird, always has been, no matter how much sleep he may get. While he tries to be quiet as he gets dressed, he ALWAYS checks on you before leaving.
・If you're awake, he presses a slow, lingering kiss to your forehead. Savouring the moment for a few seconds before heading out.
・Billy Bones is incredibly touch starved but does not know it.
・Whenever you casually brush your fingers against his, or lay a hand on his arm, or stroke his neck, he automatically freezes. As if moving would make you stop.
・And yet he has learnt that grabbing your hand and reciprocating those gestures is much more fun.
・He is a jealous man. Not because he doesn't trust you but because he doesn't trust any other person.
・He always has a hand on you, or an arm around your waist or shoulder. Somehow keeping himself close - to show everyone that you're taken.
・Whenever Silver or Flint make a comment about how he “melts like butter” around you, Billy only glares and tightens his grip around your waist. They’re not wrong, though.
・Billy loves watching you sleep. He's able to let his guard down completely and lay beside you. During this time, he memorises every single detail of your face.
・Another thing, and a big thing, is that Billy is extremely proud of you! He actually brags about you more than he realises...
・He cannot believe he is with someone so intelligent, witty, and strong.
・So, if anyone dares insult you...he's already cracking his fucking knuckles before they finish talking.
・Something that Billy always has in the back of his mind is the terror of losing you. He doesn't bring it up. Doesn't even show it. But every time he wakes up alone, he is enveloped in sheer panic until he sees you.
・Billy isn't a man of many words. But his actions do the talking for him:
Pulling your coat tighter when it’s cold.
Always serving you a plate of food and drink before himself (always)
Leaning against a wall, arms crossed, just watching you with the tiniest, most private smile.
・And his kisses, gods, he kisses you like he means it. When his lips connect to yours, it's deep and slow and all-consuming. He pulls you close with one hand behind your back, and the other tangled in your hair.
・His kisses make even the most hard-hearted of pirates turn away to give you guys privacy...
・And at night, when you two are alone. No one there to bark orders or tell you what to do. You are wrapped in his arms. Like the world cannot touch you.
・In those moments, you like to trace the scars on his body, and he may stiffen at first, but then he slowly relaxes under your touch.
・Billy will always choose you, always come back, always fight for you.

Pining & Yearning
Two Sides of the Same Coin
Looks Like A Jerk But Has A Heart Of Gold (Billy) x Looks Like A Cinnamon Roll But Is Also A Badass (You)
Yo I’ve not finished watching Black Sails but I’m having Billy Bones feels on this fine day week. Does anyone have any fic recs for this teddy bear pirate?
Uuuuggggghhhhhh I've never wanted anything the way I want to be pinned and caged in by those arms. Kinda wanna bite a little, ngl
“Where do you think you’re going?” Billy Bones wraps his arms around your waist, snug as the corsets you used to wear back when you were a fancy lady.
“Unhand me!” you scoff, giggling all the while.
“Or what?” he says, slowly, directly into your ear. One massive arm of his is totally sufficient to hold you in place, pinning your back tight against him and freeing the other to wander up your body.
The groping of his hand around your breast delays your ability to think of a suitable response. His fingers find your nipple so easily. “Or I’ll—” you gasp as he tweaks just hard enough to make you squirm. “Get you back—” his fingers soothe you in a way that’s even more distracting than the pain “—somehow!”
He hums against your hair. “Mhmm, yes, of course you will.” He switches grips, clamping his arm around your upper body so his other hand can travel south. You try to take advantage of the moment, flinging yourself away from him; not because you truly want to get away from Billy, but just because you know the struggle is turning both of you on even more.
Your attempt fails. But you do get yourself twisted around inside the circle of his arms. You gaze up at him, softening against his chest, luring him in for a kiss.
He never sees it coming. Billy trusts you. Even though he’s been sailing with you for a while, he somehow just never expects what you’re capable of. You’re sucking sweetly on his bottom lip, and then you just pull it in a little deeper and let your teeth close in a sharp little bite.
Your plan was, he would yelp and push you away from him, and then you’d be able to scurry away. But . . . that’s not what happens. Billy Bones makes a surprised, protesting sort of sound, and instead of pushing he grabs you up, right around the ribs, and lifts you bodily off the floor.
Christ, he’s strong. You flail around a bit uselessly in the air as he glares at you. “I’m making you pay for that,” he promises, and throws you over his shoulder so he can stride off to somewhere more convenient to throw you down and take his time.
A/N: Remember how I posted something before one of my other fics saying that I had been consistently updating for weeks? Neither do I lmao who was she? Don’t know her anyway heres the fourth chapter of this black sails fic.
Words: 1823. Honestly I’ve been writing this since about 12pm I don’t know how its so short and its probably shit bc I haven’t written anything in months.
Warnings: Mentions of vomit as per the last chapter. Think thats it lmao. See you in three months.
As your eyes opened, there were a blissful couple of seconds where the previous night’s encounter didn’t exist in your memory. But, just like the sun flooding the room, unwanted flashes of vomit and slurred words rose like a tidal wave in your minds eye. You rolled over, burying your face and groaning into the pillow out of sheer embarrassment as a dull throbbing started in the depths of your skull.
Why did you keep drinking? You could’ve simply had one or two before retiring for the night and you wouldn’t have met that boatswain or thrown up on your own boots. What was his name again? Ben? Boyd? No, they weren’t quite right. Either way you made a mental note to apologise again whenever you next saw him.
Slowly, you tugged your still clothed limbs from the thin sheets, trying not to jostle your stomach too much for fear of whatever was left in there making an unwelcome appearance. Your pants were scuffed from where you took a tumble outside the tavern, your shirt was half undone, probably from a failed attempt to undress before not-so-gracefully falling into bed. A single boot was thrown on the floor alongside your coat, the other still stuck on your foot. What a mess.
A hot bath, that's what you needed, and a hearty breakfast if your insides don’t bring it back up. Pulling on the other boot, you made your way to one of the girls working downstairs, trading her coin to fill the tub in your room. You must’ve looked rough as you passed her to get to the man at the bar because when he turned to look at you, his brows shot up, disappearing behind his hair.
“You look like you could use a little hair of the dog, love.” He chuckled, eyes scanning your disheveled form. A grimace was your immediate response. “Some food then.” He offered, filling a bowl with something that you didn’t stop to look at as you practically inhaled it. The man watched you with a knowing smirk and had you not felt so terrible you’d have spat out a snarky comment. You chose to gulp down your water instead.
“Thank you.” You huffed with a small nod, tossing some money on the counter before you headed back upstairs. The state you were in just added to this morning's growing list of regrets but you weren’t quite sure if you cared how you looked to anyone else right now. All that was on your mind was a piercing headache and a good soak.
Stripping off, you stepped into the water, sinking down slowly as your body got used to the heat. Finally, with a heavy sigh, you rested your head on the back of the tub, your aching muscles beginning to relax. Scented oils and soaps were left on a stand by the bath. Working a generous amount between your palms, you massaged your limbs and torso getting rid of any tension and purging the memories of last night’s… festivities. In the quiet of your room, you took a moment to trace the small scars that littered your form, fingers landing at last on the freshly healed knife wound from only a few weeks ago. The soft pink flesh was still tender, and if you moved the wrong way it would ache. It was dangerous to be alone on this island, in this line of work. You needed friends, not just contacts. A crew, perhaps.
Letting your mind wander, you thought about your new found place among Flint’s men. You had to keep bringing in leads to be of any value to him, lest you risk being tossed aside and left in the dirt. He and his crew were among the most revered on the island, therefore cementing your part in that would bring security. It would ensure that other crews would leave you alone, as you were important to someone they feared and the consequences of harming you could be severe.
Then again, there was a little more than security on your list of perks as you thought more about the taller man from last night. He was kind to you, not that the others weren’t having bought your drinks and all, but, he made sure you were safe and fed. Billy Bones. You recalled. Replaying the meeting in your head, you winced at the slurred introduction and the puking soon after. Why did you care about how he saw you? Was it because he was the crew’s boatswain or because he was handsome and softer than most pirates you’d met.
Catching that last thought, you shook it from your head, refusing to let it take root in your brain. Attachments like that are a weakness here and you cannot afford to have those. You’d only met the guy once and he probably didn’t want anything to do with you anyway, especially after that drunken show you gave him. Cupping a handful of water, you splashed your face, scrubbing any further thoughts of the man from your head, instead, choosing to focus on finding a new lead for Flint.
They would be leaving to chase down the details you gave him yesterday in a couple of days, if not sooner, which meant you probably had around two weeks to find something of substance upon their return. You’d struggled last time but after sending out letters to old friends in neighbouring ports, you were hopeful something would turn up.
Padding your way to the dresser, you pulled out some fresh clothes and got ready, feeling much better than you did even an hour before. The food had settled your stomach and the water you guzzled seemed to bring some life back into your face as when you left to go hunt down some work, the barman from earlier spouted something along the lines of ‘A whole other woman’ when you walked by.
---
An uneventful morning led to an uneventful afternoon. There were no new letters or leads and the streets were pleasantly calm compared to usual. You certainly weren’t complaining, you had been feeling better since this morning but your body was still recovering. The easy day was probably just what you needed. You were sat on the beach, sipping some water and watching passersby as you sketched in the journal you kept.
It was something you’d taken to keeping since arriving in Nassau just over two years ago. A small leather book to help keep track of potential jobs and record anything interesting that happened. Really, though, you just loved to draw. You’d already filled a couple just like it with sketches of people, ships and landscapes that caught your eye, often accompanied by your messy scrawl. You were just about satisfied with your latest addition when Mr Gates clapped you on the shoulder making you jump and slam the journal closed. You’d never shown anyone the contents before.
“Sorry, Miss Devereux, didn’t mean to startle you.” He began, chuckling lightly at your reaction. “I heard you and the lads had quite the night..” He moved to stand by you as you got to your feet, dusting the sand from your pants. Tucking away the book, an amused smirk finds its way to your face as you look at him.
“Depends on who you ask.” You replied. “How were they this morning? Feeling sorry for themselves?” Your brows raised in question as you both started aimlessly wandering along the shore. A snort met your ears as his head fell forwards, looking at the ground then back at you. “I didn’t see the majority of them until at least noon and they were still in a sorry state, although I wonder how you must’ve been. I heard that you hurled your guts up right after meeting our boatswain.” Gates mused, eyes crinkling as he watched your entire face turn a lovely shade of red. You tried to keep your cool but your expression faltered into one of sheer embarrassment. Apparently, this was hilarious as Mr Gates exploded into a fit of hearty laughter, and as much as you told him to stop you couldn’t help but have a good chuckle yourself as you covered your face with a half-sandy palm at the thought.
When you both regain your composure, he gives you a reassuring pat on the back.
“Don’t worry, the only people who know are Billy and myself, the men still think you can hold your drink.” He winked. You made a move to argue that you could in fact hold your drink but he began talking about the plan to set sail the day after tomorrow. You listened intently and explained that you were awaiting correspondence from friends in other ports to supply more promising leads upon their return.
---
It had been four days since the crew left in search of another haul using your most recent information. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened, you’d made some money here and there through smaller jobs and pickpocketing but overall, there was nothing of real interest. You spent the days reading anything you could get your hands on or drawing and you’d even had your eye on some paints in one of the markets, but all you could do was wait. Checking for mail at the front desk of the inn you were staying at every morning had become a routine, desperate for any work or ships that you could relay to Flint. It was on the fifth day that you had gotten a response from someone in Port Royal.
As you read over the letter for the third time, you could feel your eyes widen in disbelief, your heart hammered in your chest and you released a breath you didn’t know you were holding. This was far too good to be true. Surely this was a myth. A prize of this magnitude was simply unheard of. Your eyes scanned over the paper again, barely able to focus on the words because your hands were trembling so violently. Calm down. You told yourself. It can’t be the truth. You thought as you stared at the other envelope that had arrived alongside it. At the bottom of the letter it read:
“P.S
Should you doubt my information, I sent you the correspondence shared between the dead man and the merchant with evidence pertaining to this gold. Best not ask how it came into my possession.
Your dear friend,
Josiah.”
You ran to shut the windows to your room and close the drapes. If anyone found out you had this information and the evidence to go with it, you would surely be killed for it. Tearing open the paper, you unfolded its contents. It was all here. The initials of the merchant, R.P., details alluding to the existence of this gold and the name of the dead man involved in plotting the course it would be on.

I have some thirst for you. Okay, so, for the past couple of days I've been thinking(uh oh), and I can't help but imagine a scenario based off of Flint's "who's Billy?" Like I'll tease Billy by always getting his name wrong until he's had enough and fucks me while telling me to say his name, and yeah. Obviously I get it right.
A hand closes around the back of my neck. The grip is rough, not meant to spare me either pain or humiliation, but I grin as the boatswain yanks me into an empty cabin for a private dressing-down.
“Did I hear you call me ‘Johnny’ while I was issuing orders on deck this morning?” the giant blonde asks me, face twisted up with an irate disappointment in me.
I hop up to sit on the table behind me, kicking my heels in the air and smirking at him. “Of course not. I know your name is Willy.”
His eyes positively blaze, and I know what’s coming next. I can’t help myself; I just love seeing him at wit’s end with me. “Sounds like someone needs another lesson.” He opens the buckle of his belt, taking a large step toward me.
“It’s not Willy?” I ask coyly, tilting my head at him and pretending to keep my cool as he pulls his belt out and folds it in half in one hand. “I thought that had to be right, I know it rhymes with Silly...”
His hand wraps across my face, pulling my jaw up so our faces are inches apart. “You brought this on yourself,” he scolds. He switches his grip, lowering his hand just far enough under my chin so that he can press a searing kiss to my mouth. There’s nothing tender about it; he’s claiming me, asserting his command.
I melt into it just enough to let him know I like where this is going.
He shoves my face away abruptly. “Turn around.”
I slide my hips down off the table’s edge, and he barely gives me enough room to maneuver. I feel his erection, reach for it before I turn but he slaps my hand away.
“You’ll get that when I say.”
He shoves me around, pushing my chest into the table’s worn surface. He pins my hips against it with his own, and I rub my buttocks against what I can reach of his stiff cock shamelessly.
With one hand at the base of my spine, he holds me down and pulls the rest of his body away. A moment later, that folded belt comes down in a sharp crack against my ass. I know it’s coming but I still have to hiss at the sting. “How many should I give you?” his voice booms above my head, considering. Another crack, another sharp line of pain. The sensation sends a delicious thrill through the rest of my body. “How about three for each time you got it wrong?”
The third blow stings hard on the other side, and his big hand holds me down when I try to jump away on reflex.
“Hold still and take it.” The growl is exaggerated, but it’s sexy and he knows it. And the blows are hard. He’s taking me to the limit of what I can handle, quickly.
Which is exactly what I was looking for when I started taunting him again today.
The next three leave me panting, the outside of both cheeks on fire and the core of me burning up much more pleasantly. “Now. What’s my name.”
I twist to get a glimpse of his face over my shoulder, turning my ass up toward him a little more as I do. “Edward?”
I get to see him snarl, watch the muscles of his arms flex before said arms shove my face into the tabletop again. He snatches at the waistband of my trousers, working them down with grunting effort until the entirety of my ass is exposed. His hands feel so good running across my bare skin, and I’m sure he’s admiring the welts that are more than likely already forming. I expect him to add more to the collection, but one if his hands disappears and I hear him fumbling with his own clothes.
Oh.
He gives himself one swipe with a noisy hand full of spit and then enters me, cruelly quick. “What’s—my—name,” he snarls through clenched teeth, thrusting deeper into me on every word.
I open my mouth and nothing comes out but a squeal.
“Say it.” He fucks me harder, no mercy at all. “Say—my—name.”
“Billy!” I cry, finally breaking, afraid to actually push him any further than this or I might be too sore to get back on deck and resume my duties afterwards.
“What?” Billy asks, changing his angle slightly, bouncing my ass up with his repeated thrusts, cocky now. “I couldn’t quite hear you.”
The pleasure of his invasion is so hot and thick in my throat that I almost can’t speak. “Billy!” I gasp, but he only hits it harder. I keep wheezing on his name, not knowing how else to make him relent. “Billy fucking Bones!”
“That’s right,” he says, voice thick with his victory, and he leans in closer over my shoulder so he can speak more intimately. “And I want you to keep saying it, until we both cum. Until there’s nothing left in your silly little brain but me and my name.”
A/N: I’m definitely making this a Billy fic sorry lmao.

Warnings: Drinking and vomit.
It had been a month since Mr Gates had approached you and you had returned to him with a lead each week for them to hunt, bringing them and yourself plenty of money. You’d given them merchant ships carrying dyes, spices, tobacco, sugar and more that turned a favourable profit when brought back which didn’t go unnoticed by Miss Guthrie. Although you hadn’t talked since the job she needed, she seemed to have let the whole ordeal go after learning you were part of the reason Flint was bringing in more prizes.
The Walrus had returned early this morning and so you were currently walking down to the beach as they unloaded their cargo, hoping to find Flint or Gates to hand them another lead. It had taken a little while for you to find one this time so you had sent letters to some old friends in Port Royal asking for information which you were hoping would bear fruit. If not, you may very well be hunting out new employment.
The sun was still low as you found the crew, tired but in high spirits. They were laughing as they worked, and you’d caught word of a celebration at the tavern tonight as you passed by them to the old wooden dock. A longboat was slowly advancing toward the shore, the familiar faces of the captain and quartermaster among a couple of other crew members sat inside. You shot a friendly smile as they climbed out and quickly moved to join them.
“Another successful haul?” You chimed, gesturing to the surrounding crates and chests. The captain gave a small smirk, squinting against the light of the sun as Gates chuckled.
“Couldn’t have done it without your intel Miss Devereux, accurate as usual.” Mr gates clapped you on the back and you playfully rolled your eyes. “I assume you have our next target.” Flint said flatly. As much as you had proved they could trust you, he seemed a little cold to you since day one. He would give small smiles and be civil but never deviated into any kind of action that could be misconstrued as friendship. He preferred this to be more... professional. You were used to it with the men who would give you one off contracts but never in long-term work.
“I do, captain, here.” You dug through your pouch tied to your thick leather belt and handed him a piece of paper with times and coordinates scrawled across it. He inspected the page with furrowed brows before handing it to Mr Gates and nodded his thanks. “I have to take care of some business, I trust you’ll organise this, Gates. Excuse me.” He spoke briefly before leaving for the town.
“We appreciate you working for us, the crew are, of course, very happy with the results and if you’d like to meet them, I believe they’re having a celebration tonight if you’re interested.” He cocked a brow. The invitation was a little unexpected, seeing as the captain obviously seemed to be apprehensive about you. “Flint is Flint, he keeps everyone at a distance, you shouldn’t feel put off by it. You deserve a drink with the crew you’ve been working for and they should know who you are. Lord knows they’re curious having watched our little talks. If not for yourself, do it for me, I’m sick of the questions.” He laughed lightheartedly though you could tell there was some truth to his exhaustion with the crew. A chuckle left you. “Fine, but I’m not getting drunk.”
--
You were drunk. You’d damn the crew all to hell if you weren’t having such a good time. Gates had brought you along and introduced you to the men who were almost all intoxicated before you’d even arrived so they took to you very quickly, the armourer, Logan throwing an arm around your shoulders and offering you drinks. You drank for free mostly, the men refusing to let you pay as ‘a sign of their appreciation for your leads’.
So here you were, sitting in the corner of the tavern, singing your heart out to some old shanty alongside the others, feeling like part of the crew yourself as the room swayed. Your mug was empty and you’d made the decision that if the room was moving as you were still, you shouldn’t drink any more. Then there was a bang as another mug of rum was put in front of you. You half grimaced, half cackled as you took it, sipping the dark liquid despite your head telling you otherwise.
This was going to be a disaster tomorrow. The moon was high in the sky as you stood from the table, walking outside in pursuit of some fresh air. You were leaning against the wall of the tavern, desperately trying to get the floor to stay straight as someone walked toward you.
“I’m assuming they’re having quite the night by the looks of you.” An unfamiliar voice sounded above you. It took everything you had to stand up straight and look at the man. He was tall, far taller than the others and he wore an old shirt, sleeves rolled to the tops of his arms. His arms, Jesus, they were big. You’d have been ashamed of staring at them for so long had you been sober but those thoughts quickly faded as you met his eyes. Your body wobbled and you pressed your shoulder against the wall to keep you upright. “I’m Billy Bones, Boatswain.” He introduced, scanning you to ensure you weren’t just going to tumble right there.
“Try sayn’ tha three times” You slurred with a giggle. He scoffed, a smirk apparent on his face, knowing you were trashed. “Am ‘Lizbeth Devreux” You smiled at him, offering a hand to him in greeting but stumbling in the process. He quickly steadied you, hands on your shoulders. You tried to play it off as if you were perfectly sober but, well, you weren’t at all. Your stomach lurched and you pushed away from him, turning and falling to your knees unceremoniously. You wretched twice before the contents of your stomach made an appearance onto the sandy floor. Billy’s nose scrunched up at the stench but knelt beside you, pulling your hair back so it didn’t get caught in the mess. You kept bringing up the liquids from the long night for a few more seconds before collapsing back onto your behind, head leaning against the wood.
A groan of discomfort left you as you were forced to open your eyes again, the feeling of being spun threatening to make you vomit again. Billy gave you a pitiful smile and grabbed your hand, hoisting you up off the floor. “Let’s get you some food.” He said.
“I’m sorry ’m such a mess, I don’ usually get in this state.” You said slightly clearer than before, finding your footing. You hated that you’d just vomited in front of the boatswain of all the crew and he was handsome too which made it worse in your head. Another lighthearted scoff from him. “It’s alright, I guess you’ll just owe me one.” He jeered, raising his eyebrows at you and you laughed. “Deal.” You replied.
He had a hand outstretched behind your back, not touching but there just in case you were to fall again. Walking back into the tavern and through the crowd, you both found a seat at the bar and he ordered you some warm stew and bread. Stopping him as he went to pay with a few coins, you took out your own money and handed it to the barman.
“You’ve done enough and the crew have been paying for my drinks all night at least let me buy my own food.” You insisted. A smile found its way on his face as he nodded. You grazed at the meal, the feeling of it filling you taking away some of the nausea and decided to strike up a conversation. “Why aren’t you drinking with the rest of them?” You questioned, blowing lightly on a spoonful before eating it. His lips were brought into a tight line for a moment.
“I don’t drink very often and I’ve learned from past mistakes that drinking with the men has… painful outcomes.” He gave you another glance and a small smile. You snorted, looking away for a moment towards the crew, Logan was making his way over, bumping and crashing into every table and chair in his path until he reached you.
“Trus’ Billy Bones to take the lady to dinner.” He prodded, beaming. Your eyebrows flew up, nearly choking on your next bite. Billy rolled his eyes and looked at the armourer. “That is not what this is, I’m just making sure she was still in one piece after a night with you lot.” The taller man returned as you looked between the two of them. “Well res’ assured we’ve invited her into the crew with open arms and plenty o’ rum, she's a fine drinker and keeps up with the best of us.” Logan shot you a wink and a pat on the shoulder. “Now, if y’don’t mind I’m gon go see my beloved Charlotte.” His speech slurred as he turned on his heel and headed through the crowd and across the street to the brothel.
“Well, good to know I kept up.” You laughed, turning and finishing the last of the stew. The world was surely spinning a lot less and you thanked Billy for looking after you. “What did he mean? Trust you to take a lady to dinner?” He sighed and his shoulders slumped as he looked back at you with a look that said ‘please don’t’. This only led you to be more curious, cocking an eyebrow and leaning in slightly. “Come on, you wouldn’t leave a lady in suspense would you?” A snigger left you as you teased him, knowing that you were anything but a lady. He snorted, the recent memory of you puking your guts up just an hour ago replaying in his head.
“The men like to joke, I just don’t think women should be bought, I mean good for them because they make a living and all but I prefer to earn their fondness.” He explained, a light blush on his cheeks as he stood. You tried not to smirk or laugh, your mouth struggling to stay in a straight line not because it was funny but because it took you by surprise, a big burly pirate wooing a girl with wine and chivalry. “Don’t- Please don’t laugh.” He chuckled, throwing his head back and betraying himself.
“No! No, it- you just shocked me a little. I don’t usually take pirates for the romantic type.” You grinned. “It’s sweet really.” You added hoping to reassure him. He huffed out another sigh.
“Come on, you should probably go get some rest.” He didn’t look you in the eye as he led you to your room, leaving you to sober up for the night.
