green and silver ambition - prologue

eyes yes you are right, this is the everyone lived hp au from the slytherins pov! starting in middle of the third year. the gang includes draco, pansy, blaise, theo, and daphne. there will be other characters here (harry, hermione, ron, neville, luna, ginny, etc). also, the dada teacher is still remus. (okay the slytherins are all lgbt+ forgive me)

if there will be any triggering chapters, it will be bolded before the chapter summary.

whole fic summary: draco, pansy, blaise, theo, daphne and millicent are the slytherin studens of class ‘91. teenagers usually have problems, but the green and silver gang has far more problems than any other teenagers. besides, they also have wizards problems.

whole fic ships: drarry aka draco x harry (starts one-sided), thlaise aka theo x blaise (very slooooooow burn), flintwood aka marcus x oliver (they are Dads) and later on there will be also daphne x millicent

prologue summary: get to know The Gang

draco malfoy. pureblood. blonde. best of the slytherin class of ‘91, as everyone say. but none of them knows who he is. he is torn between everything, from his muggleborn-haters parents to which of the squad is his best friend. he seems perfect, but can’t take care of himself in any way - that’s why his friends always make sure he’s okay. at least, some of them do.

pansy parkinson. aromantic, asexual and doesn’t like to be touched. all of hogwarts knows her as a bitch who doesn’t care for anything, but if you’re a slytherin you have her whole heart. even though she will never admit so, she is the mother of the squad. and oh boy, of you are to hurt any of her friends you will get to know how hell feels like.

blaise zabini. a quiet boy with quite good grades. another one of the unfamiliar faces of slytherin. wishes to be more than that. he is more than that to some of his friends, but he wants to be more. trying to find where to put the effort, he still finds out he still has some things to figure out (theodore nott, for example). once promised daphne he will be the one to make history.

theodore nott. everyone sees him as daddy’s boy. promised himself he’s not going to be like his father. cares for his friends much more than he does for himself. blaise said he should’ve been in hufflepuff, but more than he cares for his friends, he will use any means necessary for everything to be the best for them. really bad with feelings.

daphne greengrass. tall. blonde. looks like a model. bisexual. if you ever tell her something she doesn’t like, she’ll hit you. already happened. cares for her friends, but can’t stand it if one of them is saying the same thing twice. that’s why she can’t talk to draco. have dated half of hogwarts and said she’s going to break a record. not good with responsibilities.

millicent bulstrode. don’t you dare to call her fat. is usually hanging up with her cool ravenclaw friends, but will always be there to annoy pansy. will cheat on every test if that is going to help her get good grades. stalks a lot, and none of the squad likes it. they do care for her, as she cares for them. none of them will admit it soon. let her do what she wants.

first chapter summary: draco has a crush and daphne can’t hear about him anymore, so theodore has to help him. he can’t, and than marcus comes by to help.

draco malfoy entered the slytherin common room and sat next to daphne greengrass and theodore nott, letting out a melodramatic sigh.

“what this time, malfoy?” daphne asked miserably. according to her, draco usually complained about everything. the breakfast, potter, transfiguration class, potter, merlin why can’t this potter understand anything, their defence against the dark arts teacher and harry james potter.

“this potter, i swear -”

“i’m out,” daphne declared and went to the girls dorms.

theodore rolled his eyes. “daph, seriously?”

“i can’t hear about harry potter anymore, sorry!” she called from the stairs. when theodore turned around to see her, she was already gone.

“sorry about her,” theodore said, “she’s just…”

“i know daphne, and she’s right, it’s just…” he sighed. “he’s so…”

“i get it,” theodore said, “really. what happened this time?”

“i wanted to ask him if he wants to go with me somewhere next time we go to hogsmeade, and guess what he said?”

“i don’t know, he’s going with granger?”

draco shot him a decent look. “no. worse. he said he needs to ‘ask ron and hermione first’, because they usually go there together. and if granger knows about this crush, she is going to be the death of me.”

theodore couldn’t help but laugh. draco will never tell him this, of course, but when he and blaise went back from herbology class this one time, blaise said theodore’s laughter was beautiful. “oh my god, is this actually what he said?”

“do you think i’d be kidding?” draco replayed, which made theodore laugh even more.

“okay, sorry, sorry,” theodore said, “he’s just an idiot. can’t you just go and tell him, ‘hey, i have a crush on you, how about we hang out together without your other friends’? isn’t this going to work?”

draco rolled his eyes, “will you ever say to your crush you have a crush on him? that’s not how it works! if we were, like, eleven, i would say it’s okay, but seriously, we’re almost fourteen.”

theodore sighed, “i don’t know, than. wanna ask pansy? she might be aro-ace, but she’s better at this than all of us.”

draco raised an eyebrow, “and what will pansy do? go and tell this to harry? this is just going to get worse if i ask her. ugh! why couldn’t i have a crush on someone i actually have a chance with?”

theodore snorted, “who, crabbe?”

draco threw a pillow at him. theodore caught it.

“nice try, seeker, but you gotta be faster.”

“did someone say quidditch?” marcus flint said as he entered the common room. he pointed at theodore and draco, “you two, right?”

“your obsession is not healthy,” theodore mentioned as marcus set next to them.

“nonsense,” marcus disagreed cheerly, “i’m in great shape.”

theodore rolled his eyes. “i’ll go find daphne.”

“isn’t she at the girls dorms?” draco asked as theodore got up.

“i’ll find out,” theodore promised and left the common room.

“isn’t she with her boyfriend?” marcus asked. “i don’t like him. too ravenclaw.”

“what’s wrong with ravenclaws?” a fierce voice behind them asked.

“nice to see you too, millicent,” draco said before turning around, “not stalking at all, i see.”

“shut up, malfoy, i was doing homework. and i’ll ask again - what’s wrong with ravenclaws?” she turned to marcus when she asked the last question.

he frowned, “nothing’s wrong, they’re just over excited about every achievement and tend to brag a lot. i don’t like it.”

“and your gryffindor boyfriend is better?” millicent continued, “i stopped counting how many times i’ve heard him yelling ‘go go gryffindor’ in the corridors after their last game. y’know, ravenclaws aren’t the only ones bragging.”

marcus looked annoyed. “winning a quidditch match is much more different than getting a good grade on the charms assignment, milly. and anyway -”

“don’t call me milly, i’m not your girlfriend!”

“i will never have a girlfriend,” marcus reminded her.

she sighed angrily and walked away.

“anyway,” marcus said, “draco - draco, are you listening to me?”

“what - yeah. yes, of course.”

“what were you thinking about?” marcus asked suspiciously.

“i’m… uh…” draco swallowed, “um, about harry potter. theodore tried to help me with asking him out to hogsmeade, and… yeah.”

marcus smiled, “oooh, a crush on a gryffindor. interesting.”

“shut up, i’m not you,” draco murmured.

marcus raised an eyebrow. “really? fine. than i won’t help you. but just know, mine and oliver’s first date was there.”

marcus was about to get up, but draco stopped him. “no, marcus, wait! he just doesn’t understand a thing.”

marcus nodded, a wicked smile playing on his lips. “than, we have a lot of work to do.”
