How about Chuuya visiting America? What would that look like?

Gonna do some quick headcanons for this instead of a ficlet if that’s okay! 

Chuuya gets sent there on a mission from Mori and he’s completely alone. He ends up in a big city--either New York or LA (I’ll do NYC for now) because that’s where Mori’s business interests lie. 

When Chuuya arrives in the country it’s a huge shock to the system. Picture this: landing at JFK international airport is pretty wild. Once you get out of baggage claim, there’s lots of traffic. Depending on which terminal you come out of, someone might be yelling at people to MOVE, people are pushy, people are loud, there’s no direct public transport to the main part of the city and you’re 45 minutes away. Chuuya would probably be like “I need a drink.” 

Lucky for him there’s lots of good bars in NYC. He manages to find the most upscale bars. Think rooftop bar. He’s really charming and foreign so people want to talk to him and he wants to talk to them because everyone is new and people act different and he knows that no one from the Port Mafia is gonna be there so he can do and say what he wants pretty much. 

His first day is spent hungover but he wanders around anyway trying to get a good idea of the layout. He finds the streets very organized. Almost too organized. 

The subways are nasty and he wastes no time criticizing everything about NYC’s public transportation. 

The FOOD! He’s never had a real pizza before and he’s shook. He finds an authentic french restaurant and is so excited and satisfied by the food. He spends most of his money on food. He’s managed to find an authentic restaurant for everything he can think of and then some. What Mafia business? 

The people he’s meant to meet in New York are very New York. No bullshit, just get to the point, not polite if they don’t like you. They like Chuuya and Chuuya likes them because he feels like he doesn’t have to stand on ceremony. 

Shopping. Lots of shopping. The prices are good and Chuuya isn’t playing around. 

Americans are really friendly compared to the people back home. Chuuya likes to talk. He pretty much ends up coming back with like 10 peoples’ contact info and the instagram accounts for three dogs.

17. Where would they like to be in ten years time?

Oh man, so Ayeden is a very ‘in the moment’ kinda person, they tend not to bother with long term plans. Not out of any distaste of the future or of plans in general, it’s just not the way they live their life. However, as much as they would like to believe otherwise, they really want to find companionship in the future whether that be close friends or a romantic relationship. I don’t think they’ve quite yet acknowledged the lack of such connections in their life and the effect that has on their happiness, but Ayeden enjoys forming genuine emotional bonds with people who are really worth it. Their circumstances haven’t really allowed for that up to this point and currently they’re focused on the campaign mission at hand, but, in the future, I see them bonding with their companions and discovering themselves through those bonds.

19. What genre of music would they be into?

Ayeden is that person that is very obviously playing metal through their headphones with a completely straight face. They would do it partly for the aesthetic but would also genuinely enjoy finding really good underground metal, rap, hip hop bands.

Kote had expected to hit the ground, but he didn’t feel himself hit the ground.
