My 100 Naruto headcanons
Ordered more or less chronologically. There are a few educated guesses here, but most of these just cater to my personal likes, feelings and/or interpretations, sometimes inspired by fanarts and fanfics. However, canon is mostly respected unless proven otherwise.
Also, take a look at the Senju and Uchiha clans that I made, please. It may help you not to get lost with some things.
*(content will be cut in 4 parts because too long)

1. Since Hagoromo had two sons, Hamura instead fathered two daughters. One remained on the Moon (Otsutsuki clan ancestress) and the other returned to Earth (Hyūga clan ancestress).
You can check out their names in my fan-named characters, along with many others.
2. The Hagoromo clan originated from members that sided with Indra and followed him into exile. That's how they were still allies with the Uchiha thousand years later.
3. The Kaguya clan were somehow spawned by black Zetsu (from white Zetsus) thanks to Kaguya's genetics from itself.
4. All five of Uchiha siblings were named after the Northern Shinshu range, in this birth order: Madara, Kurohime (♀), Togakushi, Myōkō (♀) and Izuna. They were only one year apart each (meaning that when Izuna died, both Hashirama and Madara were 28yo and Tobirama 27).
5. Hashirama and Mito had a political marriage. They didn't marry for love, but over time they managed to develop an actual caring and affectionate relationship. They had two children at least (pre- and post-bijuu.
6. I relocated Uzushiogakure because it bothered me that Kishimoto put it on the same island as Land of Waves. I placed it here instead.
7. Hashirama and Madara were definitely in love. Perhaps it was only platonic, but I take it as romantic.
8. Madara married Naori out of admiration for her heart and will to sacrifice for her last brother, Naka, which reminded him of Izuna. They had a son and daughter.
9. Setsuna and Kagami were sons of Madara and Izuna respectively.
10. Izuna died at 24yo, which is more than old enough to sire a kid. He got some Fuuma woman pregnant on his very first experience even before his hatachi, out of an act of rebellion. She died at childbirth, so Izuna was able to get baby Kagami with him.
11. The little girl who tripped at the academy and Madara helped was Biwako. She was originally a Senju before marrying Hiruzen (because her clothes are just so similar).
12. If Madara had been loved enough, Zetsu wouldn't have been able to brainwash and corrupt him (if Izuna hadn't died… if his clan hadn't shunned him… or if Hashirama had actually done something to stop Tobirama's slandering).
13. Most Uchihas can't get drunk. Their potent katon nature evaporates all alcohol from their system before it can take effect. At most, they only get a bit tipsy for a very short while.
14. Uchihas don't bury their dead, they cremate. Coffin pyres as poetic imagery of returning to the fire, or becoming one with the fire... something like that.
15. Hikaku Uchiha was made clan leader after Madara left.
16. He was pretty much coerced (by Tobirama) to marry Touka Senju for politics, and he did it dutifully in order to help stabilize the clan's position in Konoha. They only had one son for the sake of appearances. Sadly, this caused that neither of his parents were too thrilled by his existence, though they treated him well.
17. Hashirama was invaded by his mokuton in a sort-of autoimmune disease that made his body turn into the tree in the school yard. Yes, the tree where Naruto's swing was hung on. That tree which was the only thing to survive Pain's attack? If that's not mythical strength I don't know what would be.
18. Tobirama is albino (he's not half-Hatake nor anything like that).
19. He had UST with Izuna and didn't know how to deal with it, hence Uchihan frustration issues forever (yes, I admit that I've been corrupted by all those fanarts and fanfics... but I don't regret it).
20. Tobirama only took in Kagami (Izuna's son) to get his hands on an Uchiha insider for spying.
21. He killed Orochimaru's parents (as implied in Jiraiya's novel).
22. Senju clan intermingled with other clans in Konoha in order to promote unity and stability. That's how they "disappeared", meaning most of the current clans probably have a Senju ancestor.
23. First mizukage Byakuren was an outstanding smithy. He forged the Seven Swords of the Mist in an attempt to compete with Kumogakure's Hagoromo treasures. This feature was what granted him being chosen as the First.
The swords were gifted to the seven most prominent clans in Land of Water in order to convince them join in the founding of Kirigakure.
24. Third mizukage was born blind and he developed as a sensor since pretty much birth. His sensoring ability remains unparalleled until today!
The pearls he wore on his head actually served to block tiny and unimportant amounts of chakra (like those coming from plants and animals), in order to help him focus only on actual possible threats.
25. All minor lands and villages accepted! The map would be too empty otherwise.

A/N: As there is hardly any information available on Kakashi's mom I just made her ass up, I saw the name Karura on a Naruto Wiki and ran with it. Asami is nearly two years old in this, I will not argue on a two year old's abilities to speak in full sentences. It is possible in our world and it is most definitely possible in a world where Kakashi graduates at five years old. 'As-mi' is pronounced 'Oz-me'. As always I do not own the series Naruto, Naruto Shiphudden, or any of it's characters. I only own my OCs and my ideas. The timeline I'm using to write this fic is not my own, I will link it here. Please reblog to get this out to more people and encourage me to write more. Thank you!

Konohagakure Year 51 - September 17th
The sun had hardly warmed the Hokage monument more than a few hours before Asami Sarutobi had begun to slip out of her bed. The near two year old had a mission she was determined to carry out today and nothing was going to get in her way. Her unwitting partner? The man sleeping in the fort they’d built last night and snoring like a great toad sage. She may have felt a little guilty about sneaking away, if he hadn’t been telling her no for the past two days no matter how nicely she asked. Tiptoeing past him after leaving the breakfast she’d made by his foot, burnt toast with half a banana and a note that said absolutely nothing because Asami couldn’t write her letters yet, her small voice fell on the room- “Bye, Jia. Back soon.” The other half of the banana promptly shoved in her mouth as she quietly snuck off towards the start of her mission.
The first thing she needed to do before she could carry out her mission was gather supplies. Planning ahead, she’d already grabbed a few things she would need, preparedness was next to shinobi-ness or whatever Jia says. Tucked into her bag she had brought money, a worn cloth doll, and a small, soft green blanket. Her first stop? One of the best places in the village, her favorite dango stand. The vendor was a kind woman named Tatani who called her ‘Asami-Hime’and gave her extras if she asked. She also always had the freshest dango and let Asami have a skewer on the house if it was something she’d never tried before.
On her way to the dango stand a 12 year old boy with lavender eyes found her, “Asami-chan, what are you doing out here by yourself?” He questioned the toddler, he’d met her a few times when she’d wander off in the Hyuga compounds or out in the village when she was running from whatever guardian was on rotation. “Hiza! Will you help my mission?” She asked him excitedly, Asami liked this boy. He never talked down to her or told her what to do like the other adults. He let her lead and he followed, often steering her in a better direction without her knowledge. But she didn’t need to know that. Crouching to meet her height he held out an arm as if to ask if she wanted up, he had no idea how long she’d been out here and she looked cold. With all the trust in the world she walked right into him and as he picked her up he responded, quietly assuming himself as her guardian for the time being- “What’s your mission, Asami? Let’s see how I can help.”
If Asami was with her Mother or Father she would’ve told him right away, she adored her family. She typically only avoided the subject if she was in the care of another. A sentence that seemed a little funny when he thought about it another moment but was absolutely true. Asami was the most vocal twenty three month old he’d ever met, speaking in sentences and incredibly independent for her age. A trait he assumed came with being separated from her parents often and spending so much time around others. The Sarutobi twins were almost never taken out of the village at the same time for obvious reasons. But politics is a never ending game and Lord Third was often too busy to act as just a father. Biwako often served as a political envoy for her husband when she wasn’t practicing medicine and because Asuma wasn't quite as advanced as his sister, often found clinging to his mother instead of diving headfirst into a crowd. Asami often stayed with members of the Hokage’s former team or Sakumo Hatake and his wife.
“As-mi get to meet my baby today! I was s’posed to on the day which starts with one and ended with five but Jia didn’t take me. So I’m going now! First, I need dango for Karura-chan. Mama says mamas get real hungry after babies, so we need dango.” Asami told Hizashi earnestly as he carried her in the direction of her favorite vendor. Hizashi had to smile at her babbling, she was such a thoughtful girl even at this age. Nearing the dango stand the young boy pretended to pause thoughtfully before answering her, “I’d love to help you on your mission, Asami. Let’s order Karura-san some dango and get the rest of our supplies, alright?” He replied to her kindly. Her ember eyes lit up as she let out a squeal and gave the boy a hug, finally someone to help her complete her mission! “Karura-chan’s favorite cherry blossom! She told me! And we can get snack for As-mi and Hiza, ‘cause missions make me hungry…” Her small voice quieted sheepishly on the last part, as she peered up at her friend innocently. The Hyuga boy let out a laugh larger than intended as he squeezed the young girl closer for just a second before ordering for them both. Truthfully, spending time with the young girl was one of the few things he considered a breath of fresh air in his life.
One hour later, soon after Hizashi had dropped her off on a bench near the road he knew led to her destination, Asami heard her name being called loudly through the village. Her eyes widened as she shoved the rest of her onigiri in her mouth. Another snack she had suckered Hizashi into getting with her, because she was- “hungry as all the tailed beasts,” and quickly grabbed the sack of supplies she’d gathered with her older friend. Making a break for the house hiding in the trees where her mission lay, her giggles were heard down the lane by all who cared to listen to the joy that is the Village Hidden in the Leaves’ Asami Hime.
A small knock from outside gently broke the quiet that had set over the Hatake household, a knock whose owner they knew and had never failed to raise a laugh in these walls. Karura lifted the small bundle into her arms where their special girl could see him and gestured for her husband to open the door. The couple inside shared a small grin as Sakumo raised slowly to let in the girl who had wiggled her way into their hearts in the last two years spent as her godparents.
A quiet click announced the beginning of Asami’s mission and pulled her focus back to the door in front of her. Sakumo Hatake met her eyes as he opened the door of his home, bending to Asami’s height to speak warmly with her- “Asami-chan, thank you for knocking quietly. What brings you here?” He asked the toddler with a knowing smile. Frozen on the spot Asami asked timidly- “It still okay for As-mi to meet her baby? Sorry I’m late…” She looked down at her shoes, upset that Jia had made her wait past the day that started in one and ended in five. The man before her felt himself melt at her question and the way she had phrased it, ‘her baby’ as if his son was her family already. “As-mi is more than welcome to come meet her baby, did you bring him a gift?” The man asked as he picked the small girl and her things up. Brightening at the question she quickly reminded herself to talk quietly, “Yes! Gifts for all! Hiza helped me find them. One for baby, one for you, one for Karura-chan.”
Explaining diligently as the older man set her down on the tatami cushion next to the futon she reached into her bag and began pulling out their gifts one by one. When she looked back up Karura had begun to enter the room carrying a small bundle that had Asami gasping excitedly, “That my baby!” The adults shared a laugh as she waited patiently, Asami had started calling their child ‘her baby’ months ago and no one had asked for her to stop.
“Wait! Karura-chan, I bring you dango. Mama said mamas get really hungry after babies. It your best one! Cherries.” Asami had to make sure Karura got her snack, mamas are important! She looked up at the woman as she held out the to-go container of dango she had bought with Hizashi, hoping she enjoyed her gift as much as Asami enjoyed her dango. Karura paused and felt so much love for the sweet girl sitting before her, passing her son to her husband she knelt carefully to take the treat from her goddaughter. Opening the container she whispered to the girl beside her, “Would you like to share a stick with me?” The toddler beside her giggled at the woman’s offer, only the nicest people shared their snacks with her. Nodding eagerly, the girl took her bite before sitting back down and grabbing the sack with the rest of their gifts. “Flowers for Saku-san.” She stated firmly while putting the bundle in front of him before saying quietly “As-mi not sure what to get you. We all like flowers though.” Sakumo smiled at that, the generosity of a child to stress over a gift he wasn’t owed was a kindness he would hold dearly.”For baby, As-mi’s doll and blanket.” Asami took two last items out of her bag, one was a handmade, cloth doll that looked suspiciously like an Uchiha. The other a soft, green baby blanket, both had once been Asami’s when she was an infant. Now she had made the choice to pass them down to ‘her baby’. Before either adult could coo at how sweet her gifts were Asami sat down promptly and gestured to the bundle in Sakumo’s arms,”Baby, now. Please.”
Once settled all Asami could do was watch him in awe, ‘He’s so tiny.’ She thought to herself. “What’s his name?” She asked quietly, gasping when he grasped her finger with his smaller ones. Asami knew as the baby before her held onto her so tightly that she would do just the same. This baby, ‘her baby’ would always be protected by Asami. Her eyes never left him, finding the little details that showed her who he would soon be. The wild grey hair that seemed too much for a baby and the small dot that sat below his bottom lip marked him as unique in his own way. “Kakashi. His name is Kakashi.” Karura spoke to her quietly as she settled beside the young girl. “Baby Kashi.” Asami spoke aloud to the room, peering down at the young boy she had no idea would become so special to her later.
Later that evening…
The sun had set by the time Jiraiya had finally knocked on Sakumo’s door to collect Asami. The young girl had fallen asleep a few hours before, Kakashi still gripped tightly in her little arms after refusing to let anyone else hold him most of the day. Asami had stayed at the Hatake household all day: changing diapers, feeding Kakashi, and helping Sakumo cook and clean for Karura with a tenderness any midwife would’ve been proud of. As Jiraiya carried Asami home from her very first mission, the bond of a lifelong friendship just born settled over the Village Hidden in the Leaves.

On the next leg of the Japan trip, stayed in Otsu which is next to Lake Biwa (Biwa-ko) just outside Kyoto. Did a little 90 minute cruise around a small part of the lake which also had a mini show on-board. Recommend the place, area has few tourists and very pretty views.
Hikone Castle was a highlight near Lake Biwa. Much fewer tourists than other castles I visited, and was super pretty even though it's smaller.
Of course dropped into Kyoto to visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine's 10,000 gates. Tourists thinned the further up you went :P. Reached the top, but didn't take a picture because I was tired and only took one of the top most Kitsune.
Went to Nara Park with all the deers. Cute but also they are very impatient when you try to feed them the biscuits. I then made the mistake of climbing another hill right after I climbed Mt Inari. Feed have not stopped complaining since.
Kiyomizu-dera was next on the list very nice walk around to the surrounding temples.
Kyoto was also where I managed to visit the most important Japanese landmark. And I of course visited the Nintendo Store Kyoto branch for another controller gacha (not pictured)
With that I then moved on to Osaka...
