I love ace!Dow! Esp bc I see Antaup as a kind of Dow to Leo's Logen, they have a realism and clarity of mind, but are also on the back foot when it comes to understanding other people. I feel like Dow is waiting for the other shoe to drop and for everyone else to realise Logen isn't worth listening to, but the people around him are being genuine — Dogman especially, he genuinely thinks Logen deserves sympathy. Dow knows he's the odd one out. What he's craving IMO is a world that makes sense, rather than any particular person or connection to someone, and that's a very ace feeling.
