Season two

I didn’t want to write this I really didn’t but I am beyond disappointed at season two. I have nothing against Six of Crows however I watched for Shadow and Bone. Alina’s character arc was ruined, the Darkling was discredited and Mal was glorified. Don’t get me started on how there was more screen time for the crows in a show that wasn’t even theirs.

The plot was completely abandoned and ruined from the S&B books. The relationship between Alina and the Darkling were complicated and intricate, with deep and personal battles. The show got rid of all dimension in favour of Mal, which in the books was good for nothing.

Season two of Shadow and Bone was written for the spin off which isn’t deserved.

I don’t care if they cancel, but I will not be watching season three and will forget season two ever happened.

WARNINGS: mentions (very very general, veeery general) of the darkling's deeds, mentions of death, allusions to sex??? i have no idea how to describe this, it's all very ironic and not intended to be taken seriously sooo

A/N: i do not condone any of the darkling's actions but i do think he's kinda very hot

"But he's so- so- dreamy..." you said staring out of the window, your friend Genya staring completely dumbfounded at you.

"You don't even know him, he's not what you think."

"A tall, dark and handsome general? Because that's what i think he is." you replied, snapping out of your trance to look at Genya, getting progressively more worried about you.

"He killed people."

"Who hasn't?"

"He's a liar and a deceiver."

"Everyone has those days."

"He won't hesitate to use you for his own good!"

"Oh, i'd love for him to use me alright." you breathed out, resting your head on your hands as you gazed out the window once more in the hopes of seeing the Darkling.

"Y/n, i think you've finally gone crazy." said Genya, closing the curtains and thus obscuring your view.

"Hey, he might arrive any moment now!"

"You don't even know his name!" you opened your mouth to retort but quickly closed it again, pondering. That much was true, there was no denying that.

"He's still the finest man in all of Ravka, a name is not needed." you stated triumphantly.

"He's the most dangerous man in all of Ravka."

"Same thing." you said dismissively, waving your hand in the air while opening the curtains once more.

Genya stopped you, closing them shut again and earning herself a deep scowl from you.

"Why are you so adamant on not letting me see the love of my life?"

"Because the so-called love of your life would not hesitate to cut you in half given the chance!"

"But what a lovely way to go, don't you think?"

Genya stared at you, mouth agape, eyes wider than you'd ever seen her. She was usually the one to tease you and make fun of you, it was nice for once to give her a taste of her own medicine.

"Come on Genya, i'm kidding! I think..." she looked at you perplexed. "Close your mouth, you'll get wrinkles and then you'll have to fix them..." you said mockingly.

She rolled her eyes but subtly smirked, "Don't ever do that again, powerful men are dangerous!"

"You sure know about that, don't you- ow!" you had barely finished your sentence when she smacked the back of your head with her palm. Hard. A satisfied grin plastered on her face.

"Quit daydreaming now, we have other things to do."

I can't wait for the Zannen Jokanbu Black General-San anime the ongoing manga is a favorite of mine it's about Black General a super villain who has a crush on Japanese Batman aka Braveman as of right now there's two volumes and there's a third volume coming in July I recommend you read it
