FULL STORY HERE:
[1] It has been nearly a week since your last breakthrough, and you feel yourself finally at ease as you look around your hideout, wondering if they've been playing a sick joke on you.
That was, until you received an email from one of your fellow whistleblowers, informing you about them.
[2] They lied â and that email wasn't from one of your own, it was a trap account made by the same people who took your loved one away.
You then collapsed to the ground â heart racing and vision corrupted as you feel yourself on the verge of dying alone in this decrepit rabbit hole you've dug.
[3] You then watched in horror as someone walked into your room; they were tall, lean, and dressed in a sharp suit that seemed to fit them well despite the dying light in your eyes.
And as they approached you, they shut off your computer to finally kill the memetic kill agent as several armed operators came in and confiscated it, taking away the only workstation you have.
"Good see you again, trespasser!" the researcher said, their voice smooth, yet slightly corroded; it has been many years since anyone of authority last stood before you, but tonight, he's here to make your visit special â personally special.
[4] They paused before seemingly looking closer at you â allowing the suspense to build, before a set of black, slick appendages seeped through their suit, and for once, your eyes finally see through the black bars as you come face-to-face with the man who killed him.
"YOU SICK FUCK! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KILLED HIM, GODDAMN YOU!"
You screamed out, forgetting your pain for a moment as you tried to fight back â picking yourself up as you tried to defy the man in front of you, only to be swept by his tendrils before cushioning your fall with one of his tentacles.
He could've left you to bleed out had your head made contact with the concrete floor, but he didn't â in fact, Dr. Nikolas wouldn't do so, not because he has a good heart, God knows he isn't the purest soul out there even before his transformation.
But he knows better than to leave you here demanding answers.
"Now then, let's get to know ourselves a little better. My friends and I have something in mind for you, Sanders."

When your D&D game turns lewd
âBlack Tentacles
Conjuration (Creation)
Level:Sor/Wiz 4
Components:V, S, M
Casting Time:1Â standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area: 20-ft.-radius spread
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw:None
Spell Resistance:No
This spell conjures a field of rubbery black tentacles, each 10 feet long. These waving members seem to spring forth from the earth, floor, or whatever surface is underfootâincluding water. They grasp and entwine around creatures that enter the area, holding them fast and crushing them with great strength.
Every creature within the area of the spell must make a grapple check, opposed by the grapple check of the tentacles. Treat the tentacles attacking a particular target as a Large creature with a base attack bonus equal to your caster level and a Strength score of 19. Thus, its grapple check modifier is equal to your caster level +8. The tentacles are immune to all types of damage.
Once the tentacles grapple an opponent, they may make a grapple check each round on your turn to deal 1d6+4 points of bludgeoning damage. The tentacles continue to crush the opponent until the spell ends or the opponent escapes.
Any creature that enters the area of the spell is immediately attacked by the tentacles. Even creatures who arenât grappling with the tentacles may move through the area at only half normal speed.
Material Component
A piece of tentacle from a giant octopus or a giant squid.â

Mono Lisa - Black Tentacles
(For real, the weirdo beginning is worth it)
Glitchy, ADHD, yet somehow chilled out, sample-jazz⊠and if you donât like whatâs happening just wait 20 seconds. I canât understand how so many elements can come together so nicely like this but the Diamond Wing EP, released a few weeks back and under 20 minutes long, is a really excellent ride. Also, Mono Lisa is a rad band name if I've ever heard one.
