Dark Chocolate Blackberry Cupcakes-Decadent Treat
Dark Chocolate Blackberry Cupcakes-Rich Fruity Dessert
Indulge in the rich, chocolatey goodness of this moist chocolate cake, perfectly complemented by the sweetness of fresh blackberries. It's a delightful dessert that will satisfy your chocolate cravings.
Ingredients: 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp salt. 2 large eggs. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 1 cup boiling water. 1 1/2 cups fresh blackberries. 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Butter and dust two 9-inch circular cake pans. Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl. To the dry ingredients, add the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly, being careful not to overmix. After the batter is smooth, stir in the boiling water. There will be a thin batter; this is expected. Fill the cake pans with the batter, spreading it out evenly. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean, in a preheated oven. After taking the cakes out of the oven, allow them to cool in the pans for ten or so minutes before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling. After the cakes cool, arrange one layer onto a platter. Cover the cake with a layer of fresh blackberries. After adding another layer of blackberries, place the second cake layer on top. For the final touch, dust the cake's top with powdered sugar. Enjoy your delectable chocolate cake with blackberries after slicing and serving!
