Movie Game

Name six movies you could watch over and over and then tag six people.

1. Pride and Prejudice 2005. Keira Knightley might not be everyone’s Lizzie Bennett but she has this quick messy fierceness, this bright youth and passion, that I love in the role. Also the scenery is all sweeping.

2. Ten Things I Hate About You. The feminism is one dimensional but the writing is smart and the leads likeable and electric on screen and Heath Ledger is ridiculously charming and I kind of like the stilted poem and the tropey scenes of paintball and prom and guitar playing and serenades and I wanted to be Julia Stiles for a while.

3. Love and Basketball. The romance is delicious, friends to lovers, with all the complications afterwards. They are gorgeous together. And the sports matters and the leads are glorious and clearly in love.

4. Lars and the Real Girl. It’s odd and calm and so deeply kind to people’s weakness and aware of people’s strength.

5. Les Miserables. Different from the stage, even though it’s just the same. Not as huge and swelling somehow. But the private moments are strong on film. And although some of the leads aren’t all I’d like, I’d watch it over and over for Eddie Redmayne as Marius and Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Aaron Tveit as Enjolras and Amanda Seyfried as Cosette.

6. Philadelphia Story. Katherine Hepburn at her awkwardly extraordinary finest, and Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart. They are all clever and strange and wonderfully miscommunicative.

Just a Sec I didn't put my darling Shelter (2007) in. So sweet. So awkward and inarticulate and such a dear falling in love between surfer boys.

#Okay don’t roast me for this #but since Brittany is bisexual #maybe it would have been nice to show that  #one gif of her with Sam or Artie #and the next with Santana #because otherwise it just feels like erasure #you’re acknowledging she’s bi #but not actually showing it #just me?  #the cheese stands alone  

You are not alone. I thought the same thing! Hell, in canon we’ve seen her have more relationships with men than women. And yet, this just shows her with Santana and some random female extra. Instead of another person she has been in a relationship with. What’s the point of acknowledging she is bisexual if you’re going to ignore her relationships with men?

You make a valid point and if this was a photoset about Brittany’s sexuality I wouldn’t hesitate to include both genders as done in this photoset. But I made this photoset in honor of marriage equality being legalized so why would I include a couple consisting of one cis man and and one cis woman? Regardless of either of their sexualities, their love has been legal since the beginning of time.

Hey Remember that Show?

Is there a show you remember watching way back when that you never see anyone discuss? Was it a canceled show that never got a chance? Was it on past your bedtime but you watched it anyway? Can you not remember what it was called or even the character names, only vague details and you've tried to find something about it online only to fail but for god's sake its been driving you bonkers for years and you need to remember what the heck it was called and if anyone else remembers it or if you made it up?

This is your post. List anything you remember about the show in the hopes someone else knows what you're talking about. If you can actually find other fans to discuss it with. Or perhaps someone will know where you can rewatch clips or even episodes.
