HINAMORI MOMO & FANDOM ENMITY
With the recent appearance of Hinamori, fandom’s hatred of her has also resurfaced. Since then I’ve been seeing posts defending her. But it seems like they misconstrued the reasons why. So as a longtime Hinamori hater. I thought I’d shed some light on the subject. Because if I am to be bashed for hating her. Then I would rather be bashed because of my ACTUAL REASONS. Not the ones her apologists pulled from their asses. That being said… From her first introduction, Hinamori has a either been an Aizen fangirl (ad nauseum). Or a babbling ineffectual river of tears (ad nauseum). Or both at the same time! (ad nauseum) Her Aizen worship reached such levels, she doubted and attacked her own friend. A person shew knew much better and longer than she did Aizen. She didn’t even have an excuse for it like say…she was under “Book of End’s” power like Orihime and Chad. She wasn’t even under Kyoka Suigetsu’s power. She simply took Aizen qt his word, and attacked her friend without question. If she had a tiny bit of faith in Hitsugaya, Aizen COULD'NT have manipulated her. After she’s stabbed by Aizen, if she had a breakdown, from the trauma. That would be understandable. THE REASONS IT’S NOT: Because her breakdown wasn’t due to her seeing Aizen’s true face as he was impaling her with his sword. It’s because even after seeing it, this chit REFUSED to see it. And instead preferred to see what she wanted, and then had breakdown because she was worried about HIS safety. She thought they were going to kill him and begged for his life. This denial was so bad, the Omake shows that they couldn’t even mention his name or she’d have a breakdown. Because of this, she defied orders and showed up in FKT. Only to be set up to be abused by the others, and used as fodder by Aizen. On top of that she might be fairly proficient in Kido. But her zanpakuto is THE MOST underwhelming powered, unremarkable looking release with THE MOST unimpressive ability. She’s not even bad ass enough to make you want to forgive her shortcomings. Its just like..GET THIS USELESS WASTE OF GOOD INK OUT OF MY FACE! Kind of reaction because she really hasn’t done anything to make fans love her. UNLESS you’re shipping her with HITSUGAYA. (Which. I. DO. NOT. ) Other than that she’s been a useless Aizen fangirl to the point it’s very toxic behavior. And I might be willing to let you claim she was manipulated by Aizen in SS. But everything she’s said and done after that has been by HER OWN FREE WILL. So she doesn’t get a pass for her continuing to remain willfully ignorant of Aizen’s true nature. And continously trying to see and save him due to being an obsessed fangirl. Normally the relationship ends after one stabs you in the stomach. But it hasn’t ended with HINAMORI and quite frankly I find it sickening. In short…she hasn’t done shit to earn my respect as a fighter or great character. In fact I’m curious as to why there are fans who think we have plenty of reasons to love and support this character when Kubo has given us none. She’s weak. Her Zanpakuto is whack. All she ever does is cry, have a breakdown, and get owned. Her Aizen worship is toxic. There’s nothing great to write about her character. So yeah a large part of fandom hates her and this is WHY!
That feel when tumblr talks about supporting abuse victims and then hates characters because they “let themselves” be abused. Like, bitch you don’t get to say that about anyone, fictional or not.

the real question: how does all the fighting and bloods and stuff not mess up the hair? all the research shows that hair gets at least tussled a tad after even minimal movement. but low and behold one bigshot after the other rises from the rubble still completely fabulous. what is this devilry.
