Am I seriously the only anti-IH out there that isn’t salty over the ending?
I mean, I’ve always disliked how their relationship was portrayed but even I saw Ichigo and Orihime becoming canon eventually and I braced myself for that possibility.
But it seems like everyone else, if they gave a shit, either fully supported IH or was too invested in IR to not get salty over what happened. Even though what happened was the safest and most reasonable thing to expect given Kubo’s time constraints. The relationship that had romantic connotations (however one feels about them) from the get-go got reciprocated while the non-romantic relationship remained non-romantic. It’d feel even more out of place if Ichigo and Rukia suddenly got together while Orihime’s feelings for Ichigo remained unrequited, whether she remained single or she got together with someone she never considered previously.
If Kubo was going to go in a different direction than what we got, it would have required devoting time to it. And Kubo wasn’t going to do that, whether the series got cancelled or not. Since the only characters that had confirmed romantic feelings that remained persistent in the story were Orihime’s and Renji’s, their feelings getting requited by the end was only natural.
And despite all this being clear as day even for someone that dislikes IH as much as I do, I keep reading the same “the author’s a sell-out!” and “all the development went to waste!” complaints that I got from NaruSaku when Naruto ended, from IR this time.
So I’m left wondering whether or not I’m alone in this.

I've posted some rant out a few days ago in order to support ichihime and byaruki. I would like to clarify one thing, because I have received insulting responses and it was not my intention to build up a ship war. I am newborn at this tumblr thing and I'm making my first posts, I'm still learning and appling to the fandom codes, so I would like to apologize for I have made a cross tagging putting ichichime content in the ichiruki tag. It was not my intention to offend people IR, I only wanted to rant about bleach pairings but may I should have considered in the first place the fact that there're not many people up to debate when it comes to the opposing ship. For real, I didn't mean to annoy any IR fan, that's why I took the IR tag out of my post after such disgusting... replies... But just that, it won't happen again.
I have so many bleach ships compared to my other fandoms. The only one that can rival is Naruto :3
Ships I love: Kenpachi x Unohana: They make each other happy :3 Kyoraku x Ukitake: They’re so cute together :3 I keep forgetting that they aren’t married XD Renji x Byakuya: They’re so hot :D But Ichigo cockblocks them the hole time Gin x Rangiku: Pefection, but why did Aizen have to kill Gin D: Shinji x Aizen: In my heart, Aizen will always have a crush on Shinji. They’re also soul mates and they have a lot of sexual tension XD Ikkaku x Yumichika: Who doesn’t ship this? They are perfect o3o Hitsugaya x Karin: The football episode is canon for me <3 Grimmjow x Ulquiorra: Hot hot hot and lots of sexual tension <3 Urahara x Yoruichi: Should be canon Ichigo x Rukia: Of course IchiRuki had to be in here, it’s an amazing ship. Ishida x Orihime: They’re so cute and I’m pretty sure that Uryu has a crush on Orihime.
