Hey @blisscafeslo, it’s been a minute 👋😉 I’m glad to be back! Did we go to town? More like downtown🏙, Thai Town🍲🍜, vegan-heaven town🥑🍓, and run-to-catch-the-bus town 🏃🏻‍♀️🚦🚌 Was the running all worth it? Absolutely (not just because my stomach is currently LOADED with amazing food!). 😏 For Sunday Funday, @anastasia.narizhnaya, @neuro_psych11 and I visited @thai_classic_slo for a huge feast that consisted of tofu satay, a vegetable tom kar hot pot, fresh spring rolls, and the best eggplant salad! There's really nothing wrong with Sunday pancakes and waffles, but it's nice to rebel sometimes! 🥗🍆😜 Right before hopping on the bus back to campus, we had to stop by @blisscafeslo for dessert where I tried the almond butter spirulina ball for the first time! I was incredibly skeptical of the taste by its nearly black color, since I've only heard that spirulina tastes like the grass from Satan's lawn. 👹🌱 However, I was proven wrong and finished it in seconds because I couldn't get over how perfectly flavorful it was from the almond butter, the dates, nuts, seeds, and slight hint of earthy spirulina!
