How to study (not really)
Hey hey local and international aliens
So, let me share some things about me..
I’m a homeschooling student studying for A levels who JUST finished her AS levels, and when I say homeschooling... it’s literally just me studying on my own at home without a social life or any help.
There was no worse feeling than how helpless I felt last year, especially nearing my exams, as I just didn’t know how the fuck to study, and I realise, a lot of us are turned to jello under all the k n o w l e d g e of school, but no-one ever thinks its a good idea to teach us “How To Study”
Now, studying differs for everyone, some people like to use highlighters and make pretty notes. Some like using flashcards Some like writing down barely comprehensible chicken scratches. You get the point. But it has been a tumultuous journey for me to understand what works for me. Of course, I’m not at the end of it, but I got a taste for it, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to help people struggling to find what works for them.
So, this blrrrr ( I dare you to say it 3x, T R I L L IT) is just me documenting my journey and noting down what helps me, and perhaps, it might help you too.
You see, as I was going through the exam season, all I could think of was I don’t want anybody to go through this shit. So my Tumblr darlings, I'm here to be your big sister, in whatever way you need me.
Need to chit-chat? 3 am thoughts? Study worries? Advice? ‘Tis the place.
See this? Come say hello.
