Some tasty treats called Blue Skies Ice Cream are smooth vanilla ice cream mixed with sour blueberry jam and salty graham crackers. It tastes like a cool treat that makes you think of a sunny day with clear blue skies.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup blueberry jam or puree. 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers.
Instructions: Whisk sugar, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and whole milk together in a bowl until the sugar is completely mixed in. Put the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the directions on the machine. Add blueberry jam or puree and crushed graham crackers in the last 5 minutes of churning. Let them mix into the ice cream. The ice cream should be put in a container and frozen for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm. Enjoy Blue Skies ice cream scoops in bowls or cones.
