I hope my fic writer friends know how much I care about them and that they bring me so much joy when I see their names in my inbox. Like y’all don’t HAVE to do this and I’ll never make you feel obligated to continue but I will enjoy every moment I am blessed with your work. Sometimes days are hard and reading a whole book doesn’t fit into my schedule anymore but I can always spare a few minutes to finish a chapter and it brings some normalcy back into the wild inconsistency of my life. 1. What is your favorite fic you have under your belt?

Long fic? 👀 Salvation is a Last Minute Business or, my Noir AU. I love this for a multitude of reasons. Self-indulgent writing for a rare pair (Deacon x Madelyn), throwing myself into historical research, writing something I’ve wanted to write for years (Noir/ mystery/ crime), and the fact I finished it in less than five months. Talk about a passion project. AND I’m still passionate about it. Working on a sequel and a third installment. Writing side-stories and feeling excited about it!

I’m sure by this point, my followers are sick and over me blabbing about it, but I am damn proud of that niche little thing I put out into the universe, yep yep. 

Picking a one-shot is super difficult, because I have hundreds. That isn’t an exaggeration. HOWEVER, I am fond of the following from each of my OTPS: 

Dragon Age:

Legacy (Alistair x F! Warden)  

Shadow and Light (Varric Tethras x Bethany Hawke) - A long fic!

Ooh now that is a hard one. You know what, I think I’d call it a draw on this one. When Mac cracks out the cutesy texts he would definitely be more wordy. When he’s feeling soft he’s definitely one for proclamations and loves telling Ivy exactly how he feels. Ivy would be more likely to send cute pictures and little simple ‘I love you’ s whenever the mood takes her. She is probably more little and often in her cute messaging.

Whisper is a lesbian. Does she use her telepathy to find out if a girl likes her? Yes. Absolutely. She gotta know.

Does her telepathy make relationships with her uuuuh testy? A BIT.

She’s...honestly very selfish and self-centered, but if she likes you, goddamn she’ll go through loops for you. The Vault Crew is her family. They’re all she’s got. After they were attacked by super mutants, she sorta closed herself off from people, or getting attached. (fool she still gets attached) Being psychically connected to someone (it was Echo) when they die (go unconscious) is...she never wants to go through that again.

...I have been on the fence as to whomst I wanna ship her with... on one hand Curie. On the other Piper. Like goddamn love them both, downside is like...how the fuck do they run into each other HMMMMM (Piper/Whisper I am fascinated with just cause like...Whisper cannot speak. She only signs or uses her telepathy to communicate. Piper def talks with her hands, and also def talks a LOT so. be a fun dynamic I’ve thought a bit about haha)

X3 The Deacon bug is the best bug to have, if I do say so in my own biased opinion. Love me that sad liar man so much. And the stream was so much fun today, wasn’t it? (I, too, love the splinter dialogue).
