However, when you are treated to a Manta Mating Train, you experience an entirely different side of these winged giants. In a mating train, a group of male mantas compete for the attention of a female manta, with the resulting display nothing short of spectacular! The female manta takes lead and sprints ahead with a train of suiters in pursuit - diving, twirling, spinning and rolling as they battle for poll position. The energy and excitement of this acrobatic performance is simply captivating.
