nah there’s no way they’d made Alucard black. the show did make Isaac black but at a Great Cost, tho at least(?) Isaac’s arguably the best character along with Sypha. Hector is also definitively brown but again, at great cost.

if you really wanna check it out the first season is only like, 4 episodes long and about the equivalent of watching a movie. On a technical level it’s a great looking show; the dialogue can be hit or miss, esp in that first season, as it takes a more modern approach as opposed to sounded like ye olde fantasy setting, much like Dragon Age does. it’s a neat take on CV lore, esp the climax of the second season.

but seeing what they do to the characters of color in season 2 onwards....... I kinda wish I hadn’t seen it.

Yes. Like, he should totally just show up as a gym leader in one game who seems really reflective of life and has a genuine bond with his pokemon.
