Wyrd Bottle Charm (Patreon poll winner!)
“Wyrd” is an old Anglo-Saxon word related to the concept of fate and destiny. It is the ancestor of the modern English word “weird,” though the meaning has obviously shifted, and comes from a root word meaning, “to become, or to come to pass.” Through later evolution in the 15th century, it came to mean, “having the power to control destiny.” If you’re weary of being drawn along by the thread of fate, this charm might be able to help you take a more direct hand in matters.
