11.4.19 🦋 Self(ish)care

November! Since it’s the 11th month and 11 is my lucky number, I’m setting one goal and one goal only for this month. I am going to make a point to be selfish this month. SELFISH. Not selfish in a way that is cruel to the people in my life, but selfish in a way that is kind to myself. I’ve been giving 100% to everyone else, and if I’m doing the math right, that leaves 0% for me. Especially with the holiday season coming up, I need to make sure I give myself this selfish time now. So this is a month of saying no when I need to, lots of face masks, asking for help when I should, and putting time into my personal goals and hobbies. Cheers to that. At the end of the day, you can’t give anything worthwhile to to others if you yourself are empty.

Usually I write everything with a black pen but sometimes when I cannot focus or I want to compare elements of different themes I use various colour pens.
