Just finished reading the agggtm series and I have to get this off my chest so here it goes... Phew ....
This might sound controversial but when you see those people saying "Don't take law into your hands, it's not your job to deliver justice" I think they're right. As civilians who probably have lived most of our lives sheltered we don't know the darkness that comes after committing a crime.
I saw it happen to pip by the end of the series. And idk if anyone noticed but I think the author was probably planning this from the start. You could see subtle changes in her demeanor during the second book as well. She was just a highschool kid who lived a sheltered life and suddenly dived into the dark mysteries of the town. So i saw it coming a mile ago.... I figured she'd change the most by the end of these series and wouldn't be this kind, lighthearted, funny girl anymore.
Agh just thinking about it again makes my heart ache as I've grown attached to her like she's someone I personally know.
I'll say it again, to anyone who needs to hear this-
Please don't stoop to their level. If it's bullying or anything else for that matter, Don't stoop to their level. Vengeance and anger really don't solve anything. If you're being wronged and trying to find justice, do it the right way!
Because I cannot imagine anyone going through the same thing as pip again. Following the dark path to serve justice is not it. Sometimes you might even end up doing the wrong thing.... Just like Charlie green (from agggtm book 2) did.
Also the first book is really good so if anyone's looking for suggestions I'd say go for it!
