Tikal in Sonic Boom! I did most of changes on her shoes tbh, taking a bit of ref on @jorrated 's Maya gijinka Tikal. Tikal and Knuckles dynamic in Boom... think about it.

Shadow! Eclipse needs you! You need to get back to normal and help your baby brother! Tikal, help him
"Oh! Did something go wrong?!" Tikal asked worriedly, and Shadow looked just as worried.
"Wa?" The hoglet then pointed back towards where everyone else was, signaling that was where he wanted to go. "That way!"
"Good idea!"
She quickly ran past, still holding baby Shadow, and rushed into the home where Eclipse and Tails were. She gained a few stares as this happened.
"What was that all about?" Rouge asked.
"I dunno...maybe he just wanted to see Clip?" Sonic replied.
"Or maybe they found the monster."
Sticks was now the center of attention.
"...What. Monster...?"
"You don't know...the legend of the gooslesnoop?"
"What is she talking about." The bat could only wonder.
"Don't worry, this is normal." Sonic answered simply. Rouge was left in silence.
"STOP SAYING SCARY STUFF!" Knuckles shouted. "It's not even spooky season!"
"I'LL CATCH IT ONE DAY!!"
"...Right. Anyway, how are you boy's doing with the...thing."
Rouge was left silent again.
"IT IS NOW ON FIRE."
"Yeah, I can see that, Omega...that's not good! WHAT IF THAT WAS THE REGULAR SIZE-INATOR THINGY?!"
"...It served its purpose, and now it's a cozy campfire."
"SONIC."
Screaming was heard from inside Sonic's shack.
"WHO ARE YOU?!" Tails screamed, seeing a strange orange person holding baby Shadow, who looked somewhat afraid.
"HEY! YOU'D BETTER LET GO OF MY BROTHER!" Eclipse lifted his head to shout. "I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO DO MUCH RIGHT NOW, BUT YOU CAN BET I'LL FIND A WAY TO IF THAT'S WHAT I NEED TO DO!"
"No no no! You misunderstand, I promise I don't mean any harm!" The girl said. "My name is Tikal! I was a ghost, but then I ate a cookie, and now I'm alive again, so I was playing with the little one here, but then we heard that his brother was in trouble and came back as fast as we could to make sure you were alright! And then-"
"A GHOST COME BACK TO LIFE?!" Tails interrupted. "FASCINATING!! I'D LOVE TO KNOW MORE!"
The echidna beamed. "Of course! Lemme tell you EVERYTHING!"
She set the hoglet down beside his Darkling brother, and Shadow looked at him with much sadness in his expression.
"Hey, Shadow. Sorry I haven't been paying a lot of attention to you...didn't mean it. Nothing's been going right! I wanted to be the best big brother to you, and I really thought I could be!"
Baby Shadow continued to frown, but curled up next to his brother in an attempt to make him feel better.
"This is gonna pain me to admit...but I'm already in pain, so who cares," he hesitated before grumbling. "Yeah, you were strict as the older brother, real strict, and you were annoying, and angry all the time, and obnoxious, and...I shouldn't be saying this to a BABY! Where am I even going with it?! I suck at this, don't I? I suck at everything. Just a big ol' suckish LOSER. Father would be just as ashamed...if he saw me now as the failure I am, it'd probably make sense, why he decided I wasn't good enough to keep..."

That hurt the both of them.
For some reason, that was enough to make Shadow...angry.

"Don't you DARE SAY THAT NONSENSE!!"
Eclipse felt himself being swiftly lifted up and off the ground, only to meet face-to-face with someone else.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST SAY THAT AND LET IT PASS?! UTTER SUCH WORDS AND BELIEVE THEY WOULDN'T BE HEARD?! NO! I'M DONE! YOU ARE NOT USELESS, YOU DO NOT 'SUCK,' YOU ARE NOT A LOSER! GET THAT IN YOUR THICK SKULL OR ELSE WHEN WE GET BACK TO THE CAVE, I'M MAKING YOU TAKE A NAP!"
Shadow looked up, and found many eyes staring at him, Tails and some orange person next to him from inside this house he was for some reason in, and when he looked around, he saw team Sonic, watching from the door way.
"What are you idiots looking at?"
"I mean, besides the fact you're somehow not a baby anymore, did you...hear what you just said?" Sonic held in a laugh.
"What? What do you mean? What did I say?!"
"Aw, do you care about me, Shadow?"
It was then that Shadow became fully aware that he had grabbed his younger nuisance of a brother, only to drop him seconds after.
"OW! You know what actually sucks? You not being a bitty baby anymore! Now I can't teach you the ways of the Black Arms! You were a lot nicer, too...MY ANKLE IS BROKEN!!"
Shadow's usual look of rage only grew, immediately looking over at Sonic.
"...DUDE!" Sonic exclaimed, offended at the thing Shadow must've been trying to accuse him of.
"Don't you 'dude' me, you blue fake. I know what happened. You and Eclipse must've been out doing something stupid, as usual-"
"HEY!"
"When you dragged him into something that got him injured! Just as usual, getting him into even more danger than he already puts himself in. A bad influence..."
"I mean...we did race, Soni-"
"THAT WAS YOUR IDEA!!"
"NUH-UH!"
"I'm...intrigued." Tails said.
"As am I." Tikal nodded.
*Picks up Baby Sonic and plops him into Shadow’s arms* He's your responsibility now. :D
"EXCUSE ME?!?!!" Shadow shouted, holding his now baby-fied rival. "WHY. WHY ME. WHY ME AGAIN. WHAT DID I DO."
"That's okay! I'll take care of him!" Eclipse interrupted, taking Sonic from Shadow. "He should definitely be easier than baby-you."
"Last time you tried to care for a small child you broke your ankle and-hmm. Isn't it still supposed to be broken...?" His brother glared.
".................wOOOOOWWWWW, I'm........cured......?!"

"I LIKED THE ATTENTION," The Darkling huffed, and Sonic copied. "So.........how are we gonna fix this one? This keeps happening and we really should find the source."
"A SPECIAL POTION!!"
The two brothers jumped, looking around until they ended up looking upwards.
"Tikal." Shadow grumbled.
"Hello!! I missed you guys!!!"
"I don't think it's even been a month?" Eclipse commented.
"Its lonely being ghosty..."
"TEEKAL!!" The small Sonic shouted, and the echidna's eyes widened.
"You're ADORABLE!!"
"Whatever. What was that you said?" Shadow asked.
"Ah, yes. A drop of some kind of potion was dropped on his head, and there! Baby hero! No idea what was in it...but maybe what we need is an antidote!"
"The plot lines are tangling..." Shadow muttered. "The multiverse is off-balance."
"Um...sure?" Tikal sheepishly replied. "Anyway, I've come to help you figure things out! If we don't get Sonic back to normal, there could be vast consequences for the island! It will fall into pure chaos! He is their greatest hero, after all."
"You say that like this place isn't already pure chaos."
"More so than now!!"
Shadow sighed deeply. "Fine. Eclipse, let's go."

"Eclipse." Shadow and Tikal turned around, to find no one standing behind them.
"Oh? Where have they gone off to?" Tikal asked. Shadow, meanwhile, was seething.
"To do the usual. Cause problems in any way with whatever the current situation provides him with." He snarled.
"...Do you think he heard the pure chaos part?"
Shadow burried his face in his hands.
Shadow, Eclipse can't run away now. Time to get him clean
"About time. I'll use the hose. But not just any hose. Sonic's hose. Because we don't have one at the cave and Sonic isn't good for anything else. Every time I've tried, that brat of a Darkling bit his way out. Many times. And then he ran. No. Longer."
"Doesn't that seem a little...mean?" Tikal commented.
"I'm full of rage and this is how I get it out."
"Ah...that's...that's not healthy..."
"I could not care less."
Tikal, I'm declaring you Shadow’s big sister right now. :3
"Aw! I'm honored!" Tikal hugged his new little brother in excitement.
"YOU WHAT," Shadow shouted in protest. "I don't need another random sibling...let go of me!"
"NEVER!!!"
The hedgehog eventually sighed in defeat.
Shaaaaaadooooooowwww! You're back! Welcome!

"Not much right now...but I'm assuming it'll be like Eclipse in the past for me this time. Every embarrassing little memory all in one sudden wave..."
"Don't be sad!" Tikal tried to cheer him up. "You have an exotic food in your hands!"
"...This is a cheeseburger."
Eclipse, if you would keep yourself clean, your brother wouldn't have to do this. Now face your bath with dignity
"I REFUSE!! Uh...UH...TAILS! TAILS!! BE MY SHIELD, MORTAL!"
Tails shook his head as he walked out the door. "You need this."
“TRAITOR! SONIC?! KNUCKLES?! ANY ONE OF MY OH-SO-BELOVED FRIENDS?! WHO I KNOW WOULD ALWAYS HELP ME?!"
Shadow whirled his head around to stare at the group.
"WE HAVE TO GO...feed the...giant...kraken...in the ocean...because...its...our pet. Yeah. KNUXLETSGO."
Sonic and Knuckles dashed away, and Rouge and Omega, not knowing what else to do, followed. Only Sticks remained, surprisingly.
"YOU'LL FIGHT FOR ME!! WON'T YOU?!"
"...Eh, I wanna see the kraken."
"STICKS?! STICKS!! STICKS COME BACK!! WHERE'S TIKAL?!?!"
"I am evaporating...ing....ing...ing...did it work yet?"
"No, Tikal." Shadow answered simply.
"Ah. Well then. I would also like to see this 'kraken' creature. Goodbye, my friends!!"
"TIKALLLLLL!!"
"Turn on the hose, Miles."
"It's gonna get all wet in there...but you know, not my house, not my problem!" Tails smiled, turning the knob.
"WHY, SHADOW?! WHY?!!?"
"Because. You are..."
"Stinky."
(hands Shadow a hose and a bucket with a sponge and soap)
"I'm now so determined to get this done that I'm walking faster with these random items handed to me out of nowhere due to the narrative, for some reason." Shadow stated, stomping towards Sonic's home where he knew Eclipse would still be.
"Do be careful, at least..."
"What? Why are you still here?" Shadow turned and looked up at the now-ghostly-again echidna girl.
"I don't have a reasonable explanation yet for why you're able to see me now...maybe you always could but we just hadn't met yet? Or maybe...ITS OUR STRENGTHENED BOND OF FRIENDSHIP!"
"I'm going to ascend to a whole new level of annoyed if even one more person shows up unannounced on this chaos-forsaken island...ECLIPSE! I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU FIVE SECONDS TO TRY AND RUN FROM A BATH NOW. FIVE. SECONDS."
