Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of my friend Max, who I have been in a band with/making music with for almost two and a half decades, and friends with since we were in year 7. He also picked another band I play in, On The Stoop, to play music at his wedding which was a huge thrill for me: to play music for a person I have my closest musical relationship with on one of the most important days of his life. One of the great things about playing in Stoop is that Serge makes sure we also value each other as friends and not just people to play music with. When we play country festivals we take time after the gig to go for a walk together and look at the night sky and he always ensures we have comfortable accomodations, both literal and figurative.

At the wedding I got to see many friends who I don't see so often, current and former band mates, doofheads, school chums, and the people I've met along the way, people who came from 5 of the 6 states in this country to attend the wedding. It felt great to be there and to feel the love and give that loving feeling back to so many people that have meant so much to me, and I wasn't even the one getting married!

I don't have fully formed thoughts on this at this stage but a lot of my internet friends have been getting back into blogging. I was never much of a blogger, I did get good at commenting, but memes and microblogging were where I really landed as a poster. That being said, I think it would be healthy for me to write more, to get thoughts out of my head and down onto a page. I've had this Tumblr sitting largely unused for a while but I always liked the way this site presented options for posting: text, photo, quote, link, audio, video, and I see that chat is now an option. It feels much more suited to my posting style than a traditional blog.

That said, perhaps this site now sucks, perhaps it's well down the path of enshittification, perhaps it won't be accessible enough for my friends who are getting back into RSS feeds but I wanted to get something started so here's a post, a blog post if you will, and hopefully there will be more.

I decided to finally publish some of these thoughts after reading this blog post from Dr Yobbo, who I have known as a person on the internet since I was a lurker in the comments of Larvatus Prodeo, around 2007 or so. If you're into the NBA, cricket, a bit of motorsports or touch rugby, or if you're either a late gen-xer or millennial who feels that creeping cultural boomerism growing with every subsequent Hottest 100 that isn't as good as the bands that played on Recovery, then check out the podcast he does with the man they call Beeso; Beeso Woods.

The funny thing about 60 to 70 is if you don't die like a huge number of people do, you'll probably live till 75-85 statistically.

Due to the condition of the older rich people in our world, all signs point to any type of rejuvenating technology, young blood or organs really hasn't contributed to too much improvement in quality of life or cognition and does not prevent all the big reasons for life expiring.

We have all this crazy anti Boomer narrative running right now, but all you have to do is wait this out and do the most optimal thing for this situation that you can't quite completely control, but you absolutely can skew towards your favor.

So the next person in charge who dies will radically shift the narrative towards the things that really affect you in your community and in your family. Not a bunch of culture War buzzwords that don't affect you in the least.

And it will stop social engineering of made up things that really aren't happening provided to us through a targeted algorithm from international terrorists pretending to being Americans and specifically targeting seniors.

Help the Boomers. Get into the router and filter their internet. Show them their online buddies are not Americans, but troll farms hired by terrorists to encourage them to self-harm and isolate themselves while they're divesting all their money on EFTs of Trump's ass.

Bring down the websites that are bringing in all this garbage into their life get them outside and active with their families and turn off the TV. Demand Facebook and Google among others stop allowing terrorists to monetize the algorithm through their paid ads and algorithmic targeting pay scales.

Realize your choice is to vote for Biden's entire team who is actually all alive, Free, prospering financially, contributing politically and educationally to the United States everyday, relatively young and kicking, and intelligent.

Or vote for Trump's team who all quit during his presidency or are currently incarcerated bankrupt, debarred, or dead Of mysterious reasons.

Meanwhile, encourage your local Boomer to chill out and retire. Quit acting like they are going to be around to experience any of this Q Anon Utopia, nesara, Free money, The Antichrist fulfilling God's will to destroy the Earth while riding on the whore of Babylon, etc.

Go to Barbados. Take a cruise on the Nile. Sleep in your hammock while your dogs play around you and listen to some really good music. Get back with your old friend. MMJ. Play some Peter, Paul and Mary. Have an orgy '70 style.

The politics you work so hard to constantly consume and daily put yourself through this nightmare Day to day pushes you to live in constant fear of teenagers, retail workers, Costco, water, prescription medicine, doctors, vaccines, clouds, chemtrails, electric cars, non-electric cars, Dr.Fauci, solar towers, wind towers,the draft, and possibly be being forced into liberal reeducation camps where we make you sing, do Ketamine, sing Peter, Paul and Mary songs and promise to teach the world to sing and buy them a Coke.

Because the Boomer end game - retirement home run by immigrants, drag queens, and poor people.

Yes, I know complaining about boomerism helps fuel the class war and isn’t very productive in the discussion of how to practically fix everything wrong in the country, but goddamn I cannot get over the fact that they are the generation that voted in Reagan, or at least didn’t stop him. I like to think of myself as an understanding, empathetic person, but I’m having a reeeeaaaaallly hard time getting past this fact.
