Normally I'd put on a festive hat and celebrate the fact that the Earth has circled the sun one more time. I really didn't think it was gonna make it this year, but darn it if it wasn't the little planet that could all over again! Happy birthday! 🎂

Thank you for the birthday wishes! That's exactly how I feel about myself this past year. Sometimes it felt like I wasn't gonna make it, but damn if I wasn't the little Anya that could all over again, lol!! <3

I so totally relate, I sometimes feel like I should drop one language for another xD But Hungarian is soooooo hard. I recently started learning Esperanto. Much, much easier. I've been learning for a month and I can freely converse in it.

Same honestly, while studying for one language I feel like I’m cheating on the others and not giving them enough attention?

I really want to learn Hungarian bc I fucking love Hungarian musical theatre and I gave it a try on duolingo a couple of months ago and it was just too difficult I had to quit for now.

And it’s not like I don’t speak languages/scared by difficulty or anything [in fact, as a (almost) linguist, it makes me want to learn them even more), it’s just so difficult and I have no time.

And congrats on the Esperanto! :D

(truth) If you could go on a date with any of your mutuals, who would it be and what would you do?

I pick @smolsweetpotato for a date!! We could do the Winterfeesten in Ghent together (aka Christmas market but that sounds too Christian for Ghent). Sip some jenevers and eat some raclette or pancakes with nutella or food from any of the other dozen stands. We would wander about under the fairy lights, and talk and dance maybe, we'll see :)

You're a really nice and kind and open person and have been for ages. Like I still have this saved in my drafts from like 2014 when you were just being nice to me too and it still brings a smile to my face :)
