The latest installment of the ongoing series entitled “Matt gets his picture taken with Olympians.” We went to the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix for a night of watching skinny people run around in circles. Afterwards, we went to the bar in the hotel where the athletes were staying. Right when we walked in, we say Jenny Simpson in the lobby. She couldn’t be nicer to us and took a photo with us. When the first one didn’t come out great, she got someone to take the photo for us. So cool - Jenny is one of my favorites!

Did this fun ride this morning then went to the office and just…had a really long day and ended up running for 30 minutes to shake off this day. I think I’m getting a lot faster. This used to be my race pace!! Ordered pizza when I got home. Long long day.

Long day in the office today but I took a break and got this run In around the common!!! This felt really good and my pace was consistent and I wasn’t totally dying either!!

Been off my posting runs/ strength stuff last week and no way can I catch up but wanted to post this run cause it felt nice!!! This is after I did a lil progression run yesterday!

GLOBAL RUNNING DAY FIRST DAY OF PRIDE MONTH AND OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH GETS A RENWAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! Happy global running day happy season 2 renewal day I love when all my hyperfixations come together at once!!

Did this quick easy Lil run around the common cause I had lots of work today. Yeeee

Did a 5k race this morning and got a new PR!! Ran a 5k at 7:50 pace. I was DEAD at the end though damn! My first two miles were in the 7:40s !! Yay!!!! So tired though and need a nap!

Your girl is once again local legend on Boston common! From today’s run! Ran from my office did this run then went back for another 3 hours cause I was swamped! It’s nice to be able to have the common so close by! Once it gets darker earlier I’ll have to probably figure something else out!

Grabbed brunch in the city with a friend and then just ran while I was downtown and ran to the T station then did this core and arms when I got home!! Featuring my post run face with my hair frizzing out and proof that I wear contacts sometimes!!!
