PSA: several very likely bot blogs
I got two very bot looking blogs in my "for you" tab today
Every post was like this, a cat video surrounded by ads
And they had the same videos posted multiple times in a row (not a reblog, separate posts)
And the exact same video posts on both blogs I visited
They seem to be bots and I've been reporting them as such
Hey y'all, quick question. Is anyone else getting really general comments on their ao3 works from generic names that seem very bot-like?
At first glance, the comments were nice, but they don't make a lot of sense in regards to the content (these were all on the recent Arcade angst oneshot I wrote) but if they're bots, I don't see the point in comments like these? Since there's no link or anything, and the accounts don't have anything on them from what I can tell. Idk, I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing this at all, or if anyone knows what their purpose is.
Just letting everyone know, please have a profile picture and Tumblr name in your profile so I'm sure you're not a bot. If you follow me and you don't have one I'm going to assume you're a bot and I'll have to block you.

Is anyone else getting the blank blogs followers again? Literally within the past two days I've had to block two p blogs. One a literal foot fetish blog and yesterday some 50 year old pervert wearing a woman's jumper who jacks off to blonde girls wearing angora sweaters who most likely lives in his mums basement asking me about my insanity and how I made a comment about Anne Hataway and how I'm obviously wrong about her being gay?? Like literally, it was called angorasweaterfetish. Like wtf?? For one thing, I don't remember that, and okay random perv dude go off on me about how I aesthetically appreciate women and makes jokes about how I find them attractive in a good natured way. Also, I had no idea that was even a thing and now I need the brain bleach. Honestly allos are gross and why is p a thing??
(Also sometimes I definitely think I can be panromantic too because I definitely aesthetically appreciate anyone of all genders and think they're cute!!)

Looks like bots might be reblogging sexual and model-based stuff to look more like real people now. So I’m blocking any and all blogs with that unless you put ‘I’m new to Tumblr’ on your description section at least.
