My mom's rosy bourkes is the friendliest bird I love her.
The birds (both mine and my moms) are in their outside cages for what very well could be the last time for this year!! I'm gonna take this time to deep clean their inside cages in preparation for fall. I'm pretty sure this is Charley's first time ever getting some sun on his feathers. Better late than never I guess. He was surprisingly good about stepping up to go downstairs though!! It took some encouragement but he wasn't too bad about it. Not like Pip who would rather die than step up off his cage 😂 But they are enjoying the wind and the sun for the rest of the day now ❤❤
So my mom's flight cage is complete! She has four budgies and two bourkes in it and they are all getting along wonderfully. Turns out she wasn't paying attention when she bought the yellow budgies because they are a little disabled. Missing toes, poorly healed broken wing on one. But they seem to be getting around just as well as the other birds so I guess they should be fine. I told her to take them to a vet and make sure they aren't hurting or anything but she said no because...well, you know how people tend to be when it comes to going the extra mile for small birds. Whaaateeever. But other than that everyone is settled in and the cage is awesome.
My mom just but this awesome cage for her Budgies and Bourkes. They aren't going in it until she gets her second Bourkes because she doesn't want any territorial issues but holy shit it's huge and wonderful 😍😍
