I mean you can alchemize a Crossbowkind with anything- make it shoot lightning or fire or the quantum concept of grass in the 5th dimension. But if you want to alchemize it with Heart energy, try to find some Rhodontite grist. Make sure it's not Amber- that gives Time energy to the alchemy! As for general weapon rating, Crossbowkind is Very straightforward, and doesn't have any gimmicks or special properties other than shoot bolt, go far, and hit hard. Has more range and power than your typical Bowkind, but it's heavier and harder to pull the drawstring. Takes longer to reload too. Alchemize however you want, and don't feel constrained by class. I used a poisoned dagger that had Doom energy for the longest time, yet it still served me well. So don't be afraid to get creative! Isn't that what alchemy is about?
