Other than him being lazy, you kind of noticed that he's also VERY observant when he's not sleeping his buttcheeks in his table. He can point out things that not all of your classmates can see and can notices things when no one can.

And this detail would be a pain in your ass..

But yeah, it would be a pain. Not only he can notice your feelings for him, he could also unconsciously observe you and could possibly maintain eye contact until you look away. (And you may or may not like the way he bore his gaze through the back of your skull.)
