Only You can redeem us in spirit which always triumphs over flesh. Help us transmute this pain into power and give us enough strength to ascend past our worldly sins and receive true salvation. We are immensely talented and gifted, with such a bright light in our souls that must shine though. Real ones need each other at our best. Don’t let the darkness succeed. Keep us close, Lord. When I found out that I was pregnant, I realized that I was not just living for me anymore. The decisions that I made and make affect me and my child. I decided to finish my graduate degree because I knew that in order to break generational curses I needed to further my education so I can obtain upward mobility. I am a first generation college student and my child will not be a victim of hyper-criminalization!
