having daily migraines is like one day you’re in pain excruciating pain and you’re like okay wow fuck this sucks but at least I know why it’s happening and why I have all these symptoms and then the next day you’re just existing and the pain is baseline so you don’t notice it but suddenly you can hear and feel your heart beating and your skin is buzzing and standing up makes you dizzy and your limbs are tired and feel like they’re not getting enough oxygen and there is a sense of wrongness in your body that you just can’t explain and you go oh fuck what’s happening to me and an hour later you remember that you have chronic migraines and this is to be expected.

like pain sucks but at least you know why it’s there, and at least it lets you know why youre experiencing frightening symptoms
