This was originally going to be the last scene or the teaser scene at the end of Marked but I decided it was better to keep the focus on Husk for the ending (plus it let me tease his eventual spinoff arc). i love brick jokes in shows, like where this minor thing happens at the beginning that doesn’t affect anything but then it ends up being played for jokes later?

so imagine a character says to someone else ‘leave the door ajar, please,’ and the other person doesn’t understand what they mean and just puts a jar next to the door - then whenever we see that door we see that jar and then like, i dunno, 5 episodes later somebody trips on it or something. that’d just be hilarious.

“Because I put it there, ST-3V3. I slipped it in your pouch when you were repairing that loose vent cover over there last week.”

“Dude. What in the actual Hell? That thing’s been driving me mad. I’ve been losing sleep! I’ve spent every waking moment checking every door, closet, and cabinet I could find! I got through at least six whole levels! BR-4DLY almost kicked my ass when he caught me checking his footlocker! Why would you slip me a blank key?

“I needed you to report to me.”

“WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST CALL ME, LIKE A NORMAL PERSON?!”
