Day 42 (10/01/23)
If you can't tell by the image today, our theme for this Sunday October 1st has to do with music from across the pond. In the 1960's we would add the phrase "British invasion" to the American vernacular. A lot of good music has made its way to the US from the United Kingdom as a whole, not just England.
Our theme today is, what is a song or songs you like by British artists?

The band formed in Liverpool in ( 1960 ) and as most people know it consisted of Paul McCartney , John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. This band did become quite popular at the time 😄. I've added a few of their songs plus a documentary, it's well worth a watch.

I decided to add one more of their songs, this is a cover of the Smith's classic ( Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want ) and was used in the ( 1986 ) movie ( Ferris Buellers Day Off ) . Both versions of this are excellent and well worth a listen 😁
