#yogahollis . . Don’t let FEAR in! Sometimes, we can do the impossible if we remove doubts and fear and cockiness from our lives! Here, I had a fear of increasing the height of these box jumps. Thinking I’m too old to do a higher height, what if I fail, and other discouraging thoughts. Watching my Fit crew, stop, take a breath and successfully increase the height of their jumps, I decided to do the same. 3 attempts at my highest height was the goal. I successfully increased each jump beyond what I thought I could do 5 times. The last attempt, it took a while to release my fear for such a high height. The first attempt was surprising, shocking and successful. Instead of taking a moment to process that success, I became cocky and rushed the last 2 jumps. I let myself get ahead of myself, and didn’t take the measures needed to approach these jumps with clarity of mind and patience and openness. Moral of this story: Keep a clear head, don’t rush and you might be surprised by what you can achieve! Also, the same was applied to the banded broad jump. Focus, clear, inrush thoughts and mind - successful jumps! These same thoughts we applied to Banded Broad Long Jumps. . What areas of your life can you apply ‘letting go of fear, clear mind, positive thoughts’ to achieve success. . . . . . . . . . #boxjumps #boxjump #highjump #broadjump #longjump #fitness #fitfam #workout #exercise #training #fitnessfun (à Brick New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9oYD8SnoxD/?igshid=1g9hvth93vga1
