do you have any azula and lin hc’s? i’ve seen many different ways on how they would act near each other but my fav is when azula gets lin and lin has a good bond with her and ty lee/ azuki

Lin first met Azula when she was about 12. Toph was told to meet Zuko for urgent matters. So Su brought her Lin and Suyin who was 6 at the time. Lin went to play with Izumi for most of the time, and Suyin followed Azula and annoyed the shit out of her. So when Azula sat near the turtle duck pond Tiny lin sat next to her. She expected her to be as annoying as her sister. But Soon Azula came to realize that Lin was Quiet and respectful of her boundaries, so when she smirked and gave Lin a teasing remark, Azula was shocked to see a grin similar to toph and responded with a just as good remark.
Toph usually left Lin at the Fire nation each Summer. (Cuz Lin asked and she didn't mind care)
When Lin used to go to the fire nation often, she asked Azula to train her, Azula looked at her weirdly stating,” As far as I’m concerned you’re an Earthbender” But Lin was stubborn. So Azula relented, she taught Lin how to bend as if she were a fire bender. Izumi often joined and helped Lin when Azula didn’t explain as well. Azula noticed the blush on Beifong every time Izumi chose to help her form but didn’t comment on it.
Azula often called Lin simply “Beifong” or “Gremlin”. Lin absolutely adores it even as chief of Police.
Lin called Azula ‘mom’ more than once. Azula in the times that she did simply hugged the girl, of course, refused to admit it when asked as did Lin who refused to be known as Soft.
A few months after the incident with Su. She went down to the Fire Nation and had dinner with Zuko’s family, Before Izumi could reach her, Lin went into Azula’s room and cried in her arms.
Azula and Lin love feeding turtle ducks together in complete silence. During one of these sittings, Lin tells Azula what happened to her face. Azula all but says,” I have the power to rid them of it. But that’s not what you want, Beifong, is it?” Lin just leans her head onto Azula and says a barely hearable “no”
Azula doesn’t hide her past, so when Lin finds out when she was 16, she was all too shocked and hurt. Before she could confront Azula, it’s Izumi who pulls her aside and bluntly tells her about Azula. So when she finally reaches the woman she says,” I know about your past” responded without turning her head,” I’m sorry then”
Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai made Lin and Izumi into these little ninjas. Not because of evil intent, because as a 13-year-old girl, Lin wanted nothing more than to become a spy for Republic City. So Ty Lee taught Chi Block and acrobatics, Mai taught her how to use knives, daggers, etc with excellence, and Azula taught her different ways of bending. And Izumi simply joined because it was Fun.
Azula and Lin often played pranks on Zuko.
While Lin was at the Fire Nation, She was commonly known as Azula’s Little Minion. No one bothered to say otherwise.
When Lin got together with Izumi, The first person they told was Azula. Who then teased the shit out of Lin.
@aprettyweirgirl ‘s headcanon which I 100% agree with is that Azula is the one to officiate the wedding.
Lin and Azula, without Izumi or Ty Lee knowing, got drunk together when Izumi told everyone she got engaged with a man. They ended up trashing the bar only to leave loads of money in the morning as an apology.
When (rarely) Lin got into heated arguments with Izumi, she stayed over at Azula and Ty Lee’s Place.
Lin told Mai, Zuko, Ty Lee, and Azula that she wanted their permission to marry Izumi, out of old habits Mai through a knife, but Azula caught it with her two fingers, Ty Lee tilted her head,” Say you didn’t do that with the other kid” Azula rolled her eyes and handed Mai her knife back,” The other guy wasn’t my gremlin, Ty” Zuko smiled at the exchange. And gave Lin an answer.
