My cartoon for this week’s Guardian Books.
In the 11th inning in yesterday's game against the Boston Red Sox, the Yankees got some really bad calls by the umpires. First, they called Anthony Volpe out when he tried to steal 3rd. It was so close. It looked like a tie to me so it should've gone in the runners favor, but NOOOOOOO.
Next bad call was on DJ Lemahieu, who hit a ball down the first base line, and it was called foul. DJ was vehement in his belief that the ball was not foul. After about 10 minutes of reviewing the play, the umpires called it out. You make the call... what do you think? This ball looks like it's on the line, and the call of foul should've been overturned.
Aaron Boone was so angry about these 2 bad calls that cost us the game that he threw his gum at the umpires and got in their faces.
I respect Aaron Boone for standing up for his players. He made me proud for a change. Boone was thrown out of the game. Then, DJ finishing his at bat and being called out at first, apparently said something about the foul ball call that really upset the umpire at first because he, too, was thrown out of the game. It was quite the brouhaha out there.
Unfortunately, the Yankees lost that game. I'm looking forward to today's game because it's time for my boys to win a game against the Boston Red Sox. I believe. I always believe in my boys.
LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!
Redesigning some shezow villains for fun Evil Baby Doll that travels through nightmares and Prankster Fox-Man who runs on cartoon logic Who's next?

She doesn't have a name yet, she is from the dimension of Dudepow and the counterpart of Brouhaha, like Cold finger and Grilla
This cat doesn't talk much because apart from the fact that is a mime she is very shy
I tried to imitate the animation's art style
the furies are at home in the mirror
A brouhaha, from French brouhaha, is a state of social agitation when a minor incident gets out of control, sometimes referred to as an uproar or hubbub.

brouhaha must be the funniest word that exists. it sounds like the 'bro' meme with some laughter added to it.
"knock knock, bro." // "who's there, bro?" // "Etch." // "Etch who?" // "Bless you, bro." // "Brouhaha!"
