my kind of love is wanting to know every corner of your mind - a very innocent kind of love, fueled by child-like curiosity.

love is a choice, not a feeling so every time you allow your past to enter the room – and stay you are not loving me you are choosing to love yourself instead
wait – are you though?

the key of growing together is radical honesty
spoken in the most tender, soft tongue.
a language only few hearts know.
@bruisedandbubbly
it was a quiet goodbye - soft even. yet also the most painful.
@bruisedandbubbly
so that's life, huh? recovering from one fight - just to prepare for another.
well, that's rather disappointing.
@bruisedandbubbly
I am standing in front of you, wishing to be heard. yet it seems, the more my emotions start screaming in desperation the more you are shutting your eyes.
your ego must be a hell of a person – if you protect it more than you protect my heart.

it's okay to need a support system, but you have to realise you are not asking for support - not really. you wish for someone to manage all that's hard for you, someone to pat you on the back, whilst you are covering yourself in blankets of trauma and self-pity.
@bruisedandbubbly
the most painful part about you not confronting past trauma is that it does not only imply I am not a safe space for you – but you also don't value this relationship enough to improve.
