Yoongi sprinted across the court, his bangs falling onto his sweat stricken forehead, sticking to it as he dribbled the ball. The court squeaked against his shoes, the ball hitting the floor with an echoing thud. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he dogged an aponent and shot the ball from the free throw line. This was his element. The sound of his teammates shouting at him, the constant pounding of his heart. The blood pumping throughout his body with a serene perfection. You could tell. It always brought a smile to your lips. The way he seemed to focus on everything and nothing at once. You could feel your own heart thudding while you watched him from the bleachers. Yoongi looked around at his teammates, a wide gummy smile spreading across his usually stoic facial features. It sent butterflies to your stomach.
That was the forth and last time you'd go to the basket ball games after school. It was also where you met Min Yoongi face fo face for the first time.

After the game you stayed to help put up the equipment. As the players went off to the locker room, you snuck glances at Yoongi walking away. A barely percievable smile on your lips as your heart fluttered.
You ended putting away the balls and helping sweep and carry the seats back to the storage room. Just as you were heading to the exit, you found yourself in front of Yoongi. He gave a curt nod, as well as you. "Y/n, have you seen my phone charger? It was in one of the chairs?" He said. You scrunched your brows at the mention of your name. "Huh?" You found yourself saying. Not processesing anything beside the way he so casually said your name. His voice is a low soft hum as he looks back at you, even more confused. Repeating himself he gestures to where the foldable chairs for the basketball players had been before you moved them. "Oh, shit my bad, it's in the clear lost and found tub." You find yourself nearly stuttering to get out.
Yoongi smiles as he glances behind you at the tub, sighing in relief as he saw his green charger laying on top. He glanced at you and nodded in thanks as he walked past. His eyes forward as you watched him leave. Face heating as you realize you'd finally talked to him, and he knew your name.

Happiness is all around us. We just need to have a perfect pair of eyes to notice it. Being sad should never be on your list. Our life is just like a road trip ,ofc there will be bumps , speed breakers ,uneven road ,sharp cuts and many more but we just need to maintain the balance between the accelator and brakes and that's it ,enjoy your smooth ride.
