Bella my DEAR 🩷 Been ages since I've done one of these.

The Lions of House Cousland (DA:O, 329,086 words, M) You all knew it was coming, don't lie. She's my magnum opus, longer than my PhD dissertation, and the fic that keeps me up at night. I plan to start working on her again in June!

Waterproof (BG3, 1,857 words, T) Inspired by an accident during my first post-release BG3 run, this fic was so different for me. Writing from canon characters' perspectives is something I don't do often, but I had a lot of fun writing Shadowheart.

Vacuum Heart (SWTOR, 2,054 words, G) I love the angst in this one, and it just holds a very dear place in my heart. I loved finally getting to put to words some of my thoughts and canon for Corso and Nissetta.

Whither thou goest. (LOTRO, 829 words, T) Tolkien and ancient lesbian elves...idk what more to say on this one.

A Hazelnut Torte and a Kiss Goodbye (DA:TV, 11,960 words, T) I really can't wait to get back into writing this one. I need to replay Veilguard so it's all fresh in my mind, but I just loved getting to play around with it like little puzzle pieces. Badhbh and Lucanis 5ever.

HOOWEE I'M LATE TO THIS BUT THANK U BELLA <3 <3 <3 Most of my fics are trapped in the wip oubliette for all eternity (rip) BUT I did just add all my contributions to last year's Illario Appreciation Week to AO3 as one fic: Ergo, Songbird

So if anyone out there is a DA/Veilguard fan who likes other people's Rooks and Rookllario, give it a lil read and let me know what you think! It was v fun to put Illario in the bug bucket next to my Rook and observe them with a magnifying glass c: It also reminded me that writing can be fun sometimes, haha

🥞 - Which one makes breakfast? 

For Shaera and Alistair, they both wake up pretty early, so they both make breakfast together uwu sometimes with the other companions/grey wardens. And Shaera uses the opportunity to teach Alistair how to cook stuff that has taste and isn't grey.

For Mara and Anders, it's whoever wakes up earlier, and then they bring it to the bedroom to share 🥺.

And with Terys and Solas, Terys wakes up earlier but Solas asks to be woken up, and they make breakfast together, or if one's particularly tired the other makes it while the other hangs out.

1 and 8 for bhaltair uwu

1 - What is their specialisation and why?

He's a Templar spec, because he went through the training in his youth and it made sense that way, to me. Bhalt is given to the chantry after his birth (an easy way to get rid of a child born from adultery whilst also maintaining the Trevelyan reputation for being devout members of the chantry anyways). He goes through his formative years learning how to do this one thing, then once he's finaly in the job hates it -- doesnt agree with whats going on and deffects, effectively deserting. I think its funny how he's trying to lay low as to not get caught as a deserter until he's accidentally the leader of a holy army.

8 - How do they relate to Sera?

Bhaltair is on the spectrum, and recognises parts of that in Sera. They get along quite well! She's good for helping Bhaltair chill out, but I think there's strain on their friendship when it comes to the different ways they deal or dealt with their sexualities. I imagine Sera cant quite grasp why Bhaltair was brought up wiht that heavy level of shame (in the Chantry), and Sera's ideology of "who cares if you like boys or girls" and bhaltairs "its not that simple" "yes it is" "it really isnt". its an interesting friendship! and there's a lot of loyalty there.
